Went in to get my daily, Venti Iced Brown Sugar shaken espresso add Vanilla sweet cold foam light ice ,never had any issues till today when i went through the drive thru, looked and tasted more like a venti iced caramel macchiato and try to have them fix it to as it has always has been before but neither of them knew what the issue with the drink was. This Starbucks used to have one of the most comfortable lobbies and chairs in town, and I enjoy sitting there while I study. Now they keep the lobby closed except for mobile orders and they asked me to leave when I sat down. Clearly this Starbucks is not the safe "3rd place" that the company originally intended. Love this Starbucks, staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Only problem is the parking lot. Super narrow and packed, along with Tesla charging station towards the back end where you pull into order. Not only did they install the Tesla charging station, they did not fix the driveway in/out. Be careful for your bumper if your a low hanging car, no matter how slow or how much you try to angle your car. It'll still end up scraping the bottom side. read more

We stopped by here on our way to San Francisco for a few quick drinks and I was stunned by the beautiful interior of the building! I don't thing I've personally ever seen such a beautiful looking Starbucks before! The interior was absolutely cozy and well furnished, the exterior was pleasant looking and hard to miss as well! I ordered a Vanilla Bean Crème and a Bacon Gouda sandwich and, as to be expected, they're good! A very pleasant surprise and a great start to my day vacation! I swing by this Starbucks once a month when I'm cruising I-80. I always get fantastic service and drinks. What I didn't expect was to find eight Tesla Super Charging Stations right in their parking lot! This is a huge bonus since I travel up I-80 quite a bit each year. I don't normally rate Starbucks because what's to know? It's a Starbucks. Kind of like rating postage stamps. Still, we chose this one because it was the only coffee place open at 5 a.m., and I wanted to give a shout out to the poor barista working at that unholy hour. Once again I feel cheated at this Starbucks. Ordered a latte at the drive thru. Once I got home to drink it I couldn't taste any espresso or coffee flavor. The "latte" color was like lightly colored milk. Either they used regular coffee, a very small amount of espresso or no coffee at all. Are they trying to save money or just incompetent? I didn't have the best experience here today. It was empty, but there was still about an hour & a half until closing. One of the baristas working tonight did not make us feel welcomed and was flustered the whole time. Not once did we rush her, but she seemed annoyed from the moment we walked in. This was by far the worst starbucks ive been too so far. Me and my family stopped here and the people there dont listen to instructions at all. I got a black iced tea lemonade with sweetener and light ice and they didnt give me any lemonade it was just straight black tea not even any sweetener and they gave me extra ice as well. Same thing with the rest of my family they got the refresher drinks and asked for light ice and they gave extra ice. Another family member got a sweet cream cold brew with cold foam and we saw one of the staff just dump milk basically in a cup and didnt even have the decency to add any cold foam. Super friendly guy working the drive thru. We are on day 3 of a road trip, coffee is a must have, and traveling with a dog, drive thru options are great. Our order was perfect, exactly as ordered. So they aren't the fastest drive through. I don't mind it because I can catch up on podcasts or emails. If I do see a line in the drive through and I have to be somewhere on time, I will just zip by and hit a different bux elsewhere. But this is my neighborhood stop for coffee. I will even sit in my car on my laptop in the parking lot if I need to get some work done. No, I won't even order ahead for pick up. The parking lot gets crazy with the drive through line and sometimes it takes a bit for parked cars to back out depending on how fast the cars are able to move along. On my way back from Tahoe and stopped at this Starbucks 10 minutes before closing to grab a quick coffee and the doors were locked and both exploiters refused to open doors and signaled that they were closed. I double checked my phone for the time and it was 8:50. The closing time of this store specifically says 9:00 per their website. Honestly they don't care. Very poor service. I've been to this Starbucks multiple times and each time it is a complete joke. This time, I was the only person in the drive through, and it took the guy at least 5 minutes to take one single order. At the window, the barista and drive through attendant were both standing around, chatting, and moving very slow. This is my go-to Starbucks. No clue why the low rating. Yes, I've seen them understaffed, but that seems more like a management problem than anything else. Alex, in particular, always has a cheerful disposition and makes excellent recommendations on drinks I'd probably never try on my own. If you're complaining about waiting, go home and try to make one of those crazy concoctions on your own and see how long it takes you. :) Life's too short to complain about underpaid baristas doing their jobs, while dealing with uber-picky snowflakes. I go through this drive thru at least 3-4 times a week around 6 am. I order the exact same thing every time and 60% of the time I get the wrong drink. I worked for starbucks for 5 years and there is a huge difference between a peppermint white mocha and a peppermint mocha. I order a peppermint white mocha and 3/4 of the time get a peppermint mocha. The order is repeated back properly but the bar person misses the WHITE MOCHA part. I don't have extra time to go back around or inside to wait for another drink. Usually make our pit stops here on our way down the mountain from Reno. Place is usually not too crowded therefore you get your drinks quite quickly. Staff are always in an upbeat mood and the place is well kept. Ie clean restrooms, never out of sugar or half n half like most unkept Starbucks. read more
