I got home with my order the coke I ordered was a doctor pepper and the nuggets were old. I called to get items replaced. When I got there with the recipt i had to go threw the drive tru it was around 930p.m. the male hispanic man possible shift manager was very rude and even though I gave him the recipt he doubted i ordered a ckoke and said I needed the nuggets. I gave him the doctor pepper and he reluctenty gave me the coke made me feel like i had to apologive and beg for it. He still loked at me like I was trying to pull one over on him. They do quite a bit of mobile orders at this location. I guess that is better than drive thru? Mobile orders require the customer to come inside and pick up their food. Open 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm. Plenty of parking. Free wifi, I did not use it. Service - Self service kiosk, the payment machine on the kiosk did not work. The employee at the register took care of me. Self service soda fountain, for my buddy's happy meal, lol. Price - $4+ for medium fries. Expensive but so worth it. The small is just not enough, just a tease! Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success at this location since 1954 and thanks for always being here for us for our breaks. Congrats on all your success since 1940 and being a part of the S&P 100. As of 2020, McDonalds has the 9th highest global brand valuation. I came in this morning with the mobile order on my way to Truckee. The app didn't allow an egg substitution without taking the original egg off and putting a different egg on for a $1.99 charge. When I got to the menu I asked the lady, who is very nice, if I could make this substitution at no additional charge at the window. She said absolutely! Went to drive thru for breakfast. Ordered sausage mac griddle, they rang it up as a sausage egg and cheese mac griddle. I repeated the order and they took off the egg and cheese, but still charged me the higher item full price. I corrected them TWICE before they rang up the right amount. Also went for lunch (don't ask why) and was given a chicken crunch wrap instead of the maccrispy chicken sandwich I ordered along with another item. I should have known better, but didn't check the bag completely, and didn't notice until I got home. There was a ~$3 difference in these items. Whenever the company sparks an all-too-rare advertising campaign hyping new & improved food, my response is, "So you admit that you just keep raising prices while neglecting quality." Yet, McDonald's Auburn (Lincoln Way) is a must-stop from I-80 on the way to and from Reno; good for a pit stop, and capable, efficient workers cooking and fetching truly reliable-quality French fries, one of the few McD's menu items in which I have a scintilla of confidence--and even then... Some fries at this store have come out limp, but most have been packed in the box vertically, halfway crispy, and always hot. Imagine paying $3.79 for large fries and receiving anything less. Requesting "no salt" insures the crew will make them new. In the car it's fun to empty them into the paper bag, add salt and pepper from packets in the glove box, and shake-shake-shake. McD's does have edible breakfast items and fried-chicken choices, but once you get past the bargain menu, you're liable to be sticker-shocked: The counter guy quoted me $5.59 for a Big Mac sandwich-only, which never appeared on the digital menu board. The meal, which is shown, costs $9.09. Fully aware of inflation adjustments, I never could have afforded McD's during college days if Big Macs had been proportionately priced. I came to this location yesterday after having a job interview is located in the same shopping center as Burger King. It's right you can't miss it it's a little, but you will see it. I came here because I am pretty for the large and plus I have my number which every time you get your number on your phone it points. I decided on getting. A large Carmel frappe which is a blended frappe it is my favorite coffee that they have at this location it was a little busy when I first came but the line moved fast and the employee that took my order was very sweet and pleasant and when I pulled up to the window she was very friendly which I definitely appreciate this is a very clean establishment the drive thru was very clean no garbage laying around the parking lot just very clean establishment with very friendly staff this one of the best mc Donald's I have ever been to they even have a value menu if you are trying to save money they definitely have something for everyone this is a great place for breakfast great place for lunch or dinner or what ever you might have a craving for they got you covered I highly recommend mc Donald's in auburn they are great very friendly and clean establishment I will definitely be coming back here again soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come thank you McDonald in auburn you guys are awesome I appreciate you read more

I just had a McDonald's breakfast yesterday and liked it so much I decided to come here for breakfast. Something quick and easy. As far as fast food goes, McDonald's in not a place I'd normally go. But I saw all these ads for this new Chicken Biscuit breakfast sandwich and the McGriddle Chicken breakfast sandwich priced at 2 for $3.00. Heck, at $1.50 a piece, they turned out well worth it and tasty. I arrived at this location around 7am and there a decent amount of people in there. I go inside to order. I ask, if they have the 2 for $3.00 deal. Good, so I get 2 of the McGriddle Chicken Breakfast sandwiches. The order comes out fast and service is no prob. I tried the biscuit version of this sandwich yesterday and it was not very good, too dry! So, stick with the McGriddle sandwich. The McGriddle Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. This is basically two McGriddle pancakes acting as the outside of a sandwich with just the same deep fried chicken in between. No sauce, no nothing, just the chicken. It's good the chicken appears to be all white meat and a little spicy with the fried breading. The pancakes are infused with maple flavored syrup. How they do that, I have no idea! Again, I'm happy the chicken piece extends out past the pancake. The pancakes are about 3 1/2 inches across, about the size of a smaller McDonald's burger. First bite, WOW, this is way better than that biscuit thingy I just tried! The sweetness on the infused syrup goes well with the crunchy spicy coating of the chicken, as the softness of the pancake contrasts well with the crispy coating of the chicken, sort of the way chicken, waffles and syrup go together. I really like this new breakfast sandwich, from McDonald's no less! The sandwich works surprisingly well, even without any sauces or condiments inside! Sweet, crunchy and spicy, this sandwich is a winner. Give it a try, just skip the biscuit thingy sandwich. Get 2 of these McGriddle breakfast sandwiches and you'll be McHappy! read more

Thid McDonald's is pretty big it literally has 3 windows and the outside of it looks like it was just remodeled. However, no matter how interior or exterior looks like, in my opinion customer service is above all. Today I was about to get the breakfast as I was on my way to run some errands. The fries are ALWAYS fresh, they fill everything up to a T, and it's quick. The inside looks sick and the employees are usually pretty happy. It's even easy for me to pick up DoorDashes! Since opening the rebuilt McDonald's the soda machines put out soda which goes flat very quickly, i.e. no carbonation. If you want carbonation that lasts a few minutes ask staff to fill soda from machine behind the counter. Have complained about this at least three or four times and problem does not get corrected. I drink soda without ice, no lid, no straw, so I am very aware of the flat, no carbonation problem. read more

Great location for this McDonalds because it is located right off of the freeway and the new remodel has made this location a real eye magnet and not an eye sore. The old McD's was torn down to the ground and rebuilt from the ground up.... Very clean facility, sparkling clean restrooms, plenty of parking and a two lane drive-thru. It's never that busy so I'm not sure what the logic was behind adding the two lanes but it sure looks nice! This has always been our go to fry stop for many years when we travel over the pass but ever since the full remodel; the food quality, employee quality has really suffered. Everytime we have been here since the remodel, our orders have never been right and the quality of our food has suffered. Unfortunately, our latest visit was the final straw....I think Only two stars... What the heck happened? I ordered: *Large Double Cheeseburger Combo with minced onions (not the big slivered onions...hate those things) with a Large Coke. What I got was a Medium Double Cheeseburger Combo with both slivered onions and minced onions (that's a lot of onions!) and a medium Dr. Pepper *20pc Chicken Nuggets... What I got was 20 dried up nuggets that appeared and tasted like they were sitting for a long period of time. They were tough and dried out...as in absolutely no moisture. By this point, I am already back on the freeway but decided to make my way back to have them fix my order... I chose to head inside to take care of my order and explained what was going on with it; they apologized and tried to fix my order. They handed me my new order which consisted of fresh nuggets...nice! Handed me my large Coke and large fries....nice! But wait what's this?... regular quarter pounder with no onions.... I gave it back.... a few minutes later I was handed a double quarter pounder with huge slivered onions! Handed it back to them AGAIN... Today was not a good visit to my local McDonalds , I stopped in to buy lunch for my kids and myself . Got home and the order was wrong .... we ordered two quarter pounders one with just bacon and nothing else on it , and a regular quarter pounder with cheese . Got home and we were missing one of the quarter pounders and the other was just cheese . So I go back to the restaurant to get the order corrected . They were kind enough to replace the burgers one was handed to me at the window , then they asked me to pull forward and they would bring the second one out to me . Ok that's cool , at least that's thought so. So I get home and take a bite of the burger and find that it was still raw.
