5/30/26- Placed order at 7:53am , and I just left from there 7 mins ago, from start to finish after the fact I find out after being very polite my order was fucked up. So I ordered from the Yt, 2-eggs over-medium, turkey sausage, pancake platter. Now prior to me ordering I asked if all of this can go on a order and she said yes, you would have to order the eggs and sausage platter and add the pancake so I said OK. I want that. So she never rang me up for the pancake idea ideally so after the kitchen made the order, the with the mask on in the kitchen that was running the kitchen act as if she had an attitude and says that that wasn't on the order so I politely said I ordered that apparently she wasn't listening, and I asked prior to ordering for clarity! She wasn't LISTENING. So the kind gentleman that was working, the grill asked me what size was the pancake and told me that he would go ahead and make it so he went ahead and made and he had on the behalf of the cashier. So the skin girl in the still acting she has an attitude after the guy on the grill passes to her, my pancake she goes and takes the forks and knife from wherever it was along with the butter that was in a box and walks over to me and goes up under the counter, where a box of syrup is sitting at and puts all of this on top of my food with not one sheet of tissue paper on top to separate the dirt from off of all those items that came from various places that were packaged from various places and touched by many people before it got to the damn store and then when I take everything out and ask this bitch for a with an attitude, she tells me to ask the lady in the front. First impressions are lasting impressions and for this to be my first time and definitely my last time coming to this establishment, I googled this before going to my next patient and just got off of being patient and I'm hungry and I'm respectful and I get attitude and my order messed up and the only person that to apologize was the cook that did nothing wrong. Great service, nice employees. The Frazzle bagel with walnut cream cheese is so delicious! I think $4.44 for two bagels is a pretty good deal. The bagel itself is chewy and soft, with a slight crunch when toasted. Plenty of indoor seating. Almost feels like a cafe inside. read more

Zero stars should be allowable to rate this place. Do NOT risk your health by eating here. Our food was awful and the service was even worse. The drinks from the machine tasted moldy and after a second look, we now know why. The bagels were not good and were scant in the toppings we ordered. The girls at the counter are so nice and helpful. I've never been here before and they helped me pick out the best bagel for me and which bagel should go on. Their selection of sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch are quite large. I got the southern bell, and it was the perfect combination of spice with melted cheese. The only thing I would change would be the amount of meat. I don't think that there was enough sausage for how large the bagel was. I got an everything bagel with plan cream cheese, the bagel itself was OK - nothing special - and I was given a small smear of cream cheese. The cream cheese was strangely thin and was falling out of the bagel but had a decent taste. The service was okay. The woman who took my ordered was rushed and rude. I tried the egglewich deluxe with ham on a sun dried tomato bagel. I'd go for a different bagel next time but I enjoyed my sandwich and it filled me up on a morning when I was super hungry. The cheese is just a slice of American cheese, but it melts nice on the bagel sandwich. I went during the week on my way to work and it was quick service with friendly staff. I love Bagel Nation! I rarely get to go there though since they close so early at 3pm! Today, I managed to get there before 2pm. Being 2pm, they were out of the everything bagel on which I ordered my sandwich. I chose the onion bagel instead, which was a good substitute. Point is, the later in the day you come, the more likely they will be out of stuff. I ordered the Ellis Island Sandwich which was turkey, cheese, sprouts, and I think mayo and mustard. I chose this sandwich because a lot of the other sandwiches came with lettuce and tomato (yuck) and I'd rather have sprouts. I know from a previous visit, however, that you can substitute the lettuce and tomato out for sprouts on any sandwich. I was just trying to keep it simple. They asked me if I wanted potato salad, pasta salad, or chips. I asked which one of the "salads" were better. Both employees said the pasta salad so I went with that. The guy putting my food together told me that he gave me two pasta salads since I hadn't tried it before. It was really good so I ate both. It was cold pasta in a vinaigrette type sauce with olives and some other cut up stuff I didn't eat. I also got a cinnamon roll with my order. They almost forgot to give it to me because we were chit chatting, but I remembered so I asked for it. This thing is huge and delicious. I really enjoyed my bagel sandwich for lunch today. I appreciate them giving me an extra pasta salad. I loved my cinnamon roll also. So we had the Southern Belle and a plain bagel. The Southern Belle is a wonderful egg, sausage, pepper, tomato, cheese bagel sandwich with a little cajun seasoning on it. If you like a touch of spice in the a.m. This maybe the bagel for you. The plain bagel came with a strawberry cream cheese that was just enough to be completely enjoyed. Strip mall bagel location! The bagels themselves are fine and the place is ALWAYS packed. A true definition of hole in the wall! The kids love the few games and gum ball machines and always beg to go for this purpose. The staff is always warm and inviting. I tried to give this place another chance - even after the owner responded to my last review the way that he did - see below. I've worked in food & bev and I know it takes time to make food. The response from the owner of Bagel Nation further shows his inappropriate attitude towards customers and this was my last visit because there are still so many problems and I'm not going to spend any more money here. I came by to pick up some food before heading home. I already knew that there would be a wait time because of the line and my last visit here. I waited for 30 minutes and finally I heard my name called. Yes! I was so hungry! I go to pick up my to go order and notice the pasta salad is missing. Easy fix - I asked for one and a lady gave it to me. I go to my car and because I'm really hungry and I have a 30 min drive home, I decide to take a couple of bites of my sandwich. I take a bite and I realize that my low country breakfast sandwich is missing a few ingredients - I look at it, and realize I do not have the right sandwich. I seriously think about whether or not I want to go back in and wait another 20 minutes for food. But the sandwich that I ordered was more expensive and I really wanted that one. I tell the cashier that I received the wrong sandwich and she tells a lady in the back. The cashier tells me it will just be a few minutes. Ok, I can deal with that - I go and wait by the food pickup. After multiple orders have gone, I ask the lady (who the cashier told to remake the sandwich earlier) if my sandwich is ready yet. She looks confused and asks for my name even though the cashier told her earlier. So I finally get my sandwich 5 minutes later, and I have spent a total of 1 HOUR waiting for food in this place! To top it all off, my husband opens up his sandwich and isn't correct. Someone needs to step up and improve the management in this restaurant - wait time is too long, and they still can't get orders right. I'm a huge bagel dude so it kinda sucks that this is my nearby bagel place. I always like their bagels and you can never go wrong with their sandwiches either. This place would be pretty great if it weren't for the service, every time I've been here I always get some type of negative attitude from the staff. It's never been the employee taking my order, rather it's the people cooking and handing me my order. They would often mess up my order and get mad when I would ask politely if they could fix it. They have given friends and relatives problems and shown some disrespect to customers in store as well. I really can't and don't wanna hate cause it's always great to have a local establishment with quality bagels. The prices are quite high but it's a fair price to pay for some toasted bagel and cream cheese. Don't see this review aging too well as I assume their food will stay consistent and staff may change someday, but for the past few years the service has hurt and affected myself and some of my peers. I don't want this to come off as a negative review but quality service and interactions go a long way, especially in a breakfast place where customers may be tired and have the morning grumpys before their meal. Certainly, someone working within this place could see the front needed a bit more than a bit of tidying up, instead they chatted. Newspapers in the racks all flipped up and pulled out, papers on the ground, the whole front area was disheveled. "Everything bagel, lightly toasted with Spanish Olive cream cheese". I'm walking to my car after a goodly wait with what amounts to a a soft pack of cigs in weight, with no matches. This was my glaringly obvious indication that things were not alright in bagel-land. If I wasn't in a rush, I'd have gladly taken a photo of this pathetic mess they passed off to me as a bagel. I had given them a dollar tip because the workers looked like they'd appreciate it, perhaps, selfishly hoping to gain a touch of favor in the schmear. This left me with a $4.35 flat, smudged bagel with nothing on it save a hint of cream cheese coloring. I go back inside to talk to the counter guy, I was already almost back to the mystery machine. One workes shooting me the evil eye like he wanted to voice his displeasure in my reappearance. The other worker now attempts to explain he mis read the ticket. He thought it was light cream cheese, maybe, but probably not. So he took my bagel to apply the proper amount which would still not be deemed acceptable. I'm no cream cheese glutton, I have no desire to knit pick, but again I felt like the bagel should have enough where you can see it from the outside. Used to come here all the time when I lived in town visiting so I decided to come back and go out of my way to come here to find a dirty tables, what I would guess to be under staffing, pissed off employees and mediocre food at best - name wasn't called so food was cold, hash browns with cheese had literally 7 strands on shredded cheese on it was hard and gross.
