Corned beef reuben on an everything bagel

I feel like I haven't been here as much during summer break. But now that school is back in session, Ruby's has made a comeback to my routine.... And it's still good! I was greeted with a friendly smile and the staff still remembers my name and my usual order. The wait time was quick. I had some time to check a few emails and then my order was up before I expected. My doggie was happy with her usual plain, untoasted, unsliced bagel. She wagged her tail so hard as I gave it to her in the car. She savored it at home and is always very territorial over it (which she doesn't do with other food or bagels from other places). Anyway, thankful for always having a good experience here, especially in the mornings.

Today I stopped by at lunch and had "The Bird"- Turkey and cheddar sandwhich. I had it on (the last) sesame seed bagel. It was delish. Next time maybe add mustard. Also they offered me a taste of the chicken salad- so so good.

Big Bagels very tasty. The staff were friendly. Well kept Restaurant. Cute Little Bagel /Coffee shop. Large choices of Bagels and cream cheeses. I also enjoyed the Nitro Cold Coffee. Would recommend this little restaurant if you are in The West Ashley area.

Bacon in a vegetarian "Two Egg & Cheese"

I would highly not recommend this place if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. I am vegetarian and clearly told them that, along with the fact that I have a maple allergy. I ordered a vegetarian egg and cheese and also a vegetarian Rico. He said, ok, without the bacon? Which I replied to, saying yes. While the bagels themselves were not bad, I unfortunately found bacon in my food (the egg and cheese which should have never had bacon to begin with) The place is pretty clean. Busy atmosphere, long lines. When I brought it back to the counter, I told him, I ordered my bagel vegetarian, and I found bacon in it, the employee examined my bagel and said, "Oh, that's probably just a piece, do you want me to remake it?" This response made it clear that dietary restrictions and allergies are not taken seriously here, which is concerning for customers who rely on accurate food preparation for their health and safety. My husband also ordered a salmon and cream cheese bagel and said it was really bad. Other than that, the bagels themselves were fine, but the staff seem to have issues understanding food regulations and proper food preparation, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions and allergies.

Came right when they opened and surprisingly I wasn't the first customer! We normally do a pick up ahead of time but sometimes I like to sit and take my time having a coffee or enjoying their tasty bagel. My go to is their everything bagel and you can't go wrong with any of their cream cheeses. All their staff are super friendly even at the crack of dawn! The place is clean and organized and I noticed they had a plaque up for an award for best of SC 2024! There are several locations and I find them all to be of the same quality and consistent!

    Sun dried tomato Asiago bagel

1st timer after hearing so much about it. Went on a Thursday morning around 1030/11. Wasn't sure what I wanted but took the suggestion the the nice employee at the register and tried The Chopped, which was basically a cream cheese spread with Lox, red onions, bacon, capers and cucumbers. It was definitely good, but is ALOT of cream cheese. I took the non traditional route and had it on a tomato Asiago bagel. I will definitely be back to try something else. Staff was super helpful and nice.

This Ruby's needs to be airdropped in Myrtle beach Carolina Forest area.... Boom Everything is fresh ingredients, the selection of bagels you will only find in NYC... the most difficult thing is to select the types for your dozen to take home... the vegetable cream cheese has shredded fresh veggies ... no substitutions... this avocado not with sliced Swiss on a cranberry orange was over the top incredible!!! Please come to MB!!! One of the Fastest growing regions in the country - we are gonna pray you come The help is incredible! They are fast and super friendly.... Come ... to ... MB ... Come lol

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on an Everything Bagel
    Kelsey C.

To start I'm a sucker for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel so I was excited to give Ruby's a try. The interior decor fit their New York theme and I enjoyed it. They had a limited edition dirty banana chai latte and it was delicious with the perfect hint of banana. Our sandwiches came out great and the staff were all kind. Definitely check this place out if you are craving a good bagel sandwich!

Ruby's is always consistently amazing. You can go to any location in the tri-county area and the staff is friendly. I go to Ruby's NY Style Bagels at least once per week. Their pizza bagels, spreads, and potato salad are incredible! The staff greet you with a smile and Ruby's is "where everyone knows your name". The interior decor is very interesting. Overall, it is a chill atmosphere and deliciousness! :)

Ordered takeout from Ruby's NY Bagels and was seriously impressed. The online ordering was easy, my bagels were ready right on time, and still warm when I picked them up. The bagels had that perfect NY-style crunch on the outside with a chewy center. The cream cheese was super generous (no skimping here!) and you can tell everything is made with fresh, quality ingredients. I was especially excited to see Taylor ham on the menu - not commonly found! This place is a gem for anyone craving a true taste of the Northeast.

    Nova lox and bagel
    Frank P.

I am a sucker for bagels and lox and this place delivers. It's pretty popular on the weekends so make sure you grab whatever bagels you're expected. Their coffee drinks are great too. Space inside is limited, but there is outdoor seating. The staff are pretty friendly despite getting swamped in the morning, mad respect for them. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for that weekend morning bagel crave (or any day of the week).

    Gabi Y.

Got 2 bagels to go and it took forever to come out. I think we waited a good 30 minutes. The bagel was pretty good. They give a lot of lox.

This is a legit New York Style Bagel shop complete with all the fixin's and delicious options abound! The overstuff the bagels and bagel Sammie to create an authentic NY experience. All of the ingredients are fresh and it makes you feel like you've taken the subway to your new favorite deli! Not only is the food great but the service comes with a smile (one thing you might not always get in NYC)! They even have a subway sign that notes what "Station" Ruby's Bagel shop you're at! No frills, yet Fun theming.

Our waiter was super busy & at times hard to flag down. He did a nice job of refills for the kids, but when the food came out, we literally had zero napkins and zero utensils. That is basic stuff- I shouldn't have to flag down people for when getting seated. I ended up finding another waiter who was helping to bring out our food and asking him for napkins and cutlery. The beignets here are not what you expect- think super mini ones versus the classic ones you get from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or other joints. We would have placed two orders of them except I knew the brunch plates would be big, and we wanted our kiddos to eat their meal before filling up on sweets. I got the Meeting plate- double portion of crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes with grits and a huge buttermilk biscuit, where I didn't finish the biscuit and had one of our kids eat half of it. I was craving some fried green tomatoes but also wanted seafood so that worked out! My partner got the fried green tomatoes BLT and loved it. One of our kids got the chicken and waffles, another ate all of the fried chicken tenderloins, and our third really wanted buttermilk pancakes that were a hefty plate. No shortage of being hungry at this place! The food was good, but I would not say it was anything too different than any other brunch place-but for, the fried green tomatoes & other southern offerings like grits that you wouldn't get in other parts of the country. There are only two wash rooms, so there can be a wait especially when you have a long line of ladies waiting FYI. Prices are not too bad and standard for brunch so still an alternative when you are looking for fuel to fill up before doing your shopping on King's Street.
