Happy I got to try out this place for breakfast! Friendly staff and reasonable prices! I ordered a breakfast sandwich bagel and it was great! The bagel was soft and I just added a bit of hot sauce. Plenty It's diner style ordering like any other breakfast spot! Very cute, I'd visit again if I were in the area.

One of the tiles. It looks worse in person.

I wish I could give them 3.5 stars. Let me start with, I love going to Bagel Nation. Pros: The people are usually very busy but nice. The food is good. Their cream cheese and bagels are amazing. Cons: It is so small. People are always waiting for their food right on top of you since there is no good waiting area. The ceiling is disgusting. I am uploading a picture of the insane dust accumulated on the vents. There are also stains, broken tiles, and loose tiles. It makes me wonder what else, behind the scenes, is like that. Everything I can see is very clean, except the tiles. I still go there and enjoy it, but... don't look up. Update: My mom refuses to go here now, her favorite place, because the kitchen was so dirty. I did not see it but trust her opinion.

Pork roll and egg on an onion bagel!

Stopped by here for a bagel breakfast sandwich and it didn't disappoint! I was excited to see they have pork roll -- naturally had to get pork roll and egg on an onion bagel. The bagel tasted fresh and fluffy, and the customer service was good.

Love this spot! It's nothing fancy but tons of bagel selection. Feel like a fun thing to do for weekend breakfast to try them out! Does have indoor seating, not so much outdoor. Walking in the menu will feel a little much but they do give you time or paper ones so you can take you time deciding . It come with a membership punch card , think if you buy 10 bagels get 1 free or with purchase of speciality bagel one punch. I tried a breakfast bagel and my husband got the lox we loved and came two days later for more Parking spaces are ample.

I visited this shop in the late morning, and it was slightly busy but the staff were quick and efficient with the orders. They have great selection and you can see all of the flavors through the glass window. They also have other breakfast options, a fridge with many different cream cheeses(including oreo). They have a rack of "day old bagels" which is an amazing deal, i purchased 6 bagels for 4 dollars. I also found it unique that there was a banana nut bread flavor bagel. They have tons of choices for everyone. Although it is a slightly small store there are some tables to sit at and it has a nice diner type vibe. Pricing is very good as well, very affordable and good for the family.

They have plenty of things on their menu that offer pre-made sandwich ideas, etc, but you can make your own, as well. What I will say is this: they food is good. Large portions, bagels are cooked well, and the good packs a nice punch of flavor. So you really can't go wrong with the food. The coffee drinks, however....not good. I have tried a few & wasn't a fan of any of them. So definitely enjoy stopping in for a good bagel!

I ordered a vegetarian egg and cheese and also a vegetarian Rico. He said, ok, without the bacon? Which I replied to, saying yes. While the bagels themselves were not bad, I unfortunately found bacon in my food (the egg and cheese which should have never had bacon to begin with) The place is pretty clean. Busy atmosphere, long lines. When I brought it back to the counter, I told him, I ordered my bagel vegetarian, and I found bacon in it, the employee examined my bagel and said, "Oh, that's probably just a piece, do you want me to remake it?" This response made it clear that dietary restrictions and allergies are not taken seriously here, which is concerning for customers who rely on accurate food preparation for their health and safety. My husband also ordered a salmon and cream cheese bagel and said it was really bad. Other than that, the bagels themselves were fine, but the staff seem to have issues understanding food regulations and proper food preparation, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions and allergies.

Their prices have really gone up, and the quality of food just doesn't justify downtown Charleston price tags. $5.50 for a watered down "cold brew," and about $10 for a sausage egg and cheese on toast... which they up charged me $1.09 to switch it from a biscuit to toast they likely got at Aldi or Teeter After taxes this was slightly over $19. I don't see that they stock the Charleston City Paper anymore, which is something I used to look forward to reading in their worn in cozy space. 5/5 Stars - Absolutely Incredible!…read more This spot is a total gem. We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The breakfast sandwich was perfect--flavorful, fresh, and served on a perfectly toasted everything bagel. The strawberry pop-tart was unreal, an elevated treat, and the drinks hit the spot. The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. It's the perfect place to kickstart your morning. We will definitely be back!

We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.
