Stopped in the other day for a bagel and cream cheese. It's right off Eastport manor rd going south toward sunrise highway. It was not busy for late morning. They had a couple of tables inside. Boars head meats, different types of cream cheese spreads vegetable, blueberry, bacon and herb. Two bagels with cream cheese and a newspaper was almost $15, pretty pricy. The bagels were small and soft, not like other locations if you wanted something softer. The cream cheese was okay, nothing too memorable. I'm so excited to see another fine Bagel Shop by Craig the owner. Personally I think the bagels at Bagel Palace are the best around. They are nice in size and really baked to the point where you can smell the aromas of flavor from the garlic! They also offer some nice bakery items as well and a coffee station. Today I usual, everything bagel (cooked dark) with butter and my wife had her bagel with the chicken salad which see said was a 10!! I always go to the store on cty rd 111 when heading that way but note when I head west towards Patchogue, I make it a point to stop at this new location. read more

Quick tip for a place that should specialize in breakfast: You want to mix the meat & veggies into the eggs to make an omelet. I shouldn't even have to explain this. They just scooped, what looks like more than a few days old western mix on top of fried eggs then wrapped it up. From the pics you can tell I tried to dissect it to eat what looked edible but eventually gave up. The place doesn't look as nice inside as when it was blazin bagels & you can see where the removed a display case. They tried to cover the old logo on the floor with a useless snack case in the middle of the floor but it's an obvious lazy job. Much better alternative for breakfast than McDonald's! Glad I tried this bagel place. I got a bacon, egg and cheese. The bacon was nice and crispy the way I like it! The bagel was not very doughy; I almost wondered if they scooped out the dough. The sandwich, 4 bagels and a small coffee came out to about $16. For your coffee they offer lots of different creamers. (Only turn off was when an employee (or possibly the owner) finished handling the cash in the register then touched some of the bagels) read more

Just twenty minutes remained until our ride was finished when we pulled up to bagel palace, the only shop in the lot open in the frigid wee hours of the morning. It seemed but a moment before my husband had returned to the car and dropped a sack of warm foil wrapped parcels in my lap. Bagels, muffins, paninis- they have it all, and it's all perfectly good, but today we needed just the classics. We drove to my grandmothers house and began our NY visit in the only appropriate way- with sausage egg and cheese on a roll, salt pepper and ketchup. Message for the owners. Fix your damn place. We order every week at your place and at least one person in our group always has a mistake with their order. Paying $10 for a sandwich only for it to not even have what we requested. Constant mistakes, mediocre food at best, some bagels don't even have holes in them, that would be just a hard roll. You're better off getting 2 breakfast sandwiches at McDonalds for $6 instead of dealing with an establishment that doesn't care. This has got to be the worst bagel store on Long Island. Let's start with the service, there is none. I was the only person in the store and they ignored me and still got my order wrong. Every single time I (or my workmates) order anything, everyone looks at us like we're from another planet. Basic orders, so much so that a child could fulfill -- No tact, no kindness, and they NEVER get our order right. These people are hacks and from the looks of it, everyone else here agrees. I was coming here 2 to 3 times per week since my wife and I moved to manorville a few months ago. It was the closest bagel shop/deli to our house. I now drive to center moriches to get my bagels because I refuse to give my money to this place anymore. The bagels are often over cooked, the olives in the olive cream cheese are grey instead of green, and to top it off the owner has the personality of a constipated grizzly bear.
