Bacon, egg, and cheese on onion bagel
Vanessa A.

Much better alternative for breakfast than McDonald's! Glad I tried this bagel place. I got a bacon, egg and cheese. The bacon was nice and crispy the way I like it! The bagel was not very doughy; I almost wondered if they scooped out the dough. The sandwich, 4 bagels and a small coffee came out to about $16. For your coffee they offer lots of different creamers. (Only turn off was when an employee (or possibly the owner) finished handling the cash in the register then touched some of the bagels)

Chicken Salad Sandwich

Some bussin chicken salad, however I wanted toast and once I opened the sandwich... NOT TOAST. I was kindve let down, but it's okay. Better luck next time. Cheers

again disappointed in this place. thought it would change on how the bagels got better but you just get raw bacon that sits on the stove that the cook thinks is done but it's not, still overpriced place $17 for a bacon, egg and cheese and small iced coffee smh again you think things were changed but people just want to make money on you and don't care about finished product.

I asked for a specific type of ham, they gave me the wrong one. I asked them to remake it and they up charged me for the new ham... but gave me the same wrong type. i feel frustrated and upset because i asked specifically and got up charged but they made no changes. they were nice but i got charged 2.70 and they didn't even give me the "uncharged" ham.

Squished bagel, missing cheese, dry sandwich.

Message for the owners. Fix your damn place. We order every week at your place and at least one person in our group always has a mistake with their order. Paying $10 for a sandwich only for it to not even have what we requested. Constant mistakes, mediocre food at best, some bagels don't even have holes in them, that would be just a hard roll. You're better off getting 2 breakfast sandwiches at McDonalds for $6 instead of dealing with an establishment that doesn't care. Pass this place, find the next one until the owner cares more about his business than himself.

Croissant

Croissant with bacon egg and cheese I just picked up an order and have never been so disgusted. I order a Croissant with bacon (there was also no bacon) with egg and mayo. This moldy croissant is what you serve. Will definitely never be ordering from here again.

super disappointed -- we ordered from uber eats and they left half the food out of the order and what they did send was totally wrong. i ordered the egg and cheese wrap and it was just a sad looking egg in a box don't advertise that the order comes with a bagel, coffee and orange juice if you're just going to send your customers sad and soggy eggs thrown in boxes!! uber eats wouldn't refund us either, such a scam. i've never left a bad review in my life but i simply had to warn the general public about this atrocity.

Terrible - cold, not fresh bagels on a Saturday morning and probably a tablespoon (if that) of cream cheese. Bad. Avoid. Do better.

Bagels are small and tasteless as are the side salads. Not a particularly clean establishment as well.

We were told that Watermark was five minutes away, and people liked it. We verified that in Yelp, and sure enough, let's go. This is not the sort of place you'd find by accident - on a minor coastal road and pretty much off by itself. The parking lot was so packed that we had to give up on it and park on the road. We were told that there would be a slight delay for a table, but seeing the enthusiastic crowd, we figured it might be worth it. It was. We got a really great roomy table, and our server was a gem. Looking back over the reviews here, we got their star quarterback in Connor, who sat down at a spare chair and talked to us about what to eat. Within two minutes, we were old friends. I'm a big fan of originality in menus, and they had it to spare. I ended up with the fried chicken sandwich and Donna had the Left Coast sandwich. Ham turkey and swiss on crainberry bread. They were both delicious and too much for one sitting. Connor even offered to wrap my mayo. The vibe was enthusiastic but not horribly loud, the food was unifromly great and the service was superior. We now have a go-to place in the Riverhead area.

My friend's chicken sandwich was dry and nothing special. My crab cake sandwich had absolutely NO crab in it. None at all. It was a fried bread patty. I could not eat it. I asked for water because we were not given any and we never got it. I even watched the server fill her personal water bottle right in front of us. This place is in need of major improvements. Avoid

The indoor space is small, but the rustic trendy Southern vibe gives it a cozy atmosphere that feels very family run and welcoming. It's located right next to the train line, which adds to the small town café feel. The food was definitely worth the wait overall. I had the Remsenburg burger with all the fixings and it was delicious. The homemade burger bun really stood out. We also tried the homemade biscuit with jam, which was excellent. My partner ordered the pancakes and breakfast platter. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The only downside food wise was that the ham was a bit too salty. Service was attentive and polite throughout our visit. There was a moment walking in where I felt stared at a bit, but the staff maintained a friendly attitude otherwise. You can tell it's a younger crew helping run the place, and the family style atmosphere comes through. The only real cons were the long wait and the fact that a few menu items were unavailable by the time we ordered. Overall though, I'd definitely visit again.

We called to see if we needed a reservation, but no one answered, and the mailbox was full. So we drove over. There was a sign outside saying, "We're open!" On the back of that sign, it said "Now serving dinner Friday and Saturday 6-9 pm." The parking lot was EMPTY. On the door was a sign saying, "Sorry, we're closed." No Friday or Saturday night dinner hours were noted. I can't comment on the food or ambience, because we didn't get to experience either of these. I'm sure that everything would have been simply lovely, had they actually been open. We saw the menu, and were really looking forward to dinner. Our disappointment was vast. I don't know if we'll trust them to be open for dinner and return. They're usually only open for breakfast and lunch. I thought that I also had screenshots of Google/Yelp showing them as open for dinner, and the back of the sign. Can't find them.

Eat Unique Indeed…read more We were famished for something brunchy this past Sunday, and were looking at different places to go to. Went to the Watermark, parking lot was inaccessible, seems people don't know how to park over there. Even the street spaces were full. We headed further west, Flying Pig was closed down, we had been to Crazy Beans, then a quick Google search pulled up a spot we'd never heard of before. Pulled up to a strip mall where BlackSheep was located, nice big parking lot as expected. Walked in, and we were the first ones there. The place smelled fantastic. We sat ourselves and perused the menu. The server came by and enumerated the specials, but I was fixated on Braise your Belly. We also got me-mah's mac and cheese, and started off with the Roasted Garlic Northern Bean Dip and the Minestrone soup. The Bean Dip starter was fantastic. All the little things you need for a perfect bite. A scoop of bean dip on a toasted pita wedge, stick a couple of kalamata olives on the bean dip mortar (3 olives were too much), add pickled red onion and fire-roasted peppers, then top with crumbled feta. Amazing bite. I had a taste of the Minestrone, and it was excellent. Flavors were all there without being overdone. The pasta was nice and cooked just right. The mac and cheese was perfect. I couldn't put my finger on the cheeses used, but it all came together nicely. You didn't just get a mouthful of one cheese flavor. It was creamy, balanced, and the crispy onions on top made it really nice. and the stunner. I am a big fan of pork belly, and this really piqued my interest. Served with lemongrass grits and pickled veg with a soy miso glaze. The pickled veg was tossed in a bed of leafy greens, and I saw some seaweed salad in there as well. A little bite of the grits topped with the salad was amazing. I've never had that combo before. A little tart, a little salty, nice umami, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. However, when the pork belly came into play, everything changed. The crisped, lightly charred crust on the fatty slices of nirvana by themselves were perfect. Cut a piece of it and lay it on the grits-salad bite, and you can feel your eyes roll backwards. I wanted to, and almost ate it all, but I left a slice for my girlfriend and topped off her little bit of mac and cheese that she wanted to take home. Half an hour in, and the place pretty much packed out for a bit while they were doing a healthy amount of takeout/pickup orders. The place is pretty simple: interesting Black Sheep art, with mostly little tables, plasticware, and a drinks cooler. The food can certainly be right at home in a fancier and upscale setting, but doesn't need it. They had one server, and she was delightful and attentive to everyone. The chef came around and asked how everything was, which I find is always a nice touch. Definitely coming back.
