No Friday or Saturday night dinner hours were noted. I can't comment on the food or ambience, because we didn't get to experience either of these. Options include a variety of egg dishes, omelets and frittatas, as well as waffles, pancakes and avocado toast. There's a full coffee bar as well with iced coffees, lattes and other espresso drinks to choose from. We went with a bunch of iced coffees, a "build your own" omelet, breakfast burrito and mushroom omelet. Despite the crazy line here on a Saturday afternoon our food came out very quickly. Coffees took another 20 minutes or so until we were able to ask someone about it (we felt bad, they were so busy), and they handed them over to us. The food here was good and fresh, but also very no frills and portions are small. The prices here are so high though that when we were walking by Donahue's on our way out we realized we could've had a fancy brunch there for just about the same price as we paid for a few small dishes.

The worthiness is definitely there because Macchiato has a nice array of coffee options as well as pastries and more elaborate edibles (sandwiches, salads, etc.). You can find everything on their menus though you won't find too much else inside as the place is definitely small. A couple of tables, some fridge drinks and pre-maid foods, and an area of swag and other items is the entirety of the interior so don't expect any true cozy feels. But hey, you can't drink cozy (well maybe in the Fall/Winter), and so let's turn our attention back to the name of this place and focus on coffee. I went with an iced latte with vanilla while my wife tried the iced chocolate (as it was written on the menu). For me, I liked mine. Nothing negative to necessarily say about it as it had a good coffee kick, but when my wife felt like hers was a little too heavy in the bitter bang before the chocolate took over, I decided for us to switch drinks as I thought the iced chocolate was delightful (I do like my coffee a little stronger). I cannot rave enough about this establishment ...The food is amazing, always so fresh and made-to-order! The sourdough bread is so incredibly crusty and delicious, coming from my favorite Portuguese place in Farmingville. My husband said the French onion soup was the best he's ever had....Not to overlook the ambience, which is so welcoming and relaxing. This truly adds a nice touch to the overall dining experience. Stace and her daughter Katherine add so much love and life to this beautiful restaurant. We celebrated my sister's milestone birthday there last September in a cozy private room upstairs. It was beyond spectacular from beginning to end. We continue to return to Sunflower Cafe and Bakery quite often, and always have such a pleasant and warm experience! They also offer a wonderful weekend brunch menu on Sunday's with truly creative and delicious entrées. The bacon I added add an extra layer of protein, which was perfectly cooked. My friends got a ham and cheese croissant, which I tasted and wished I got one to go. On our way out on the east end, I spied this coffee shop and vowed to hit it up on my way home. I asked the barista about the brown sugar cinnamon special and she said it was very popular. Another woman grabbing her coffee order piped in that she got it for her friend recently and she loved it. Sign me up! Medium with oat milk, please. They do upcharge for milk subs still here, sigh, this end of the island I guess to be expected but this coffee was absolutely delicious. I also grabbed three chocolate chip cookies for the kids, who gobbled them up and didn't save me nary a bite. While I can't speak to the cookies personally, I'll take the crumbs as a sign that they were excellent. The location itself is bright, clean and spacious with ample parking and clean bathrooms. I think I might have to take another long drive for the coffee and farms before fall is up.
