So glad we stopped in & found this bagel shop! We went on a whim after a Sunday morning run and…read morewere super pleasantly surprised at just how good it was. The bagels were chewy and fresh, the cream cheese ample and the drinks fresh squeezed and not too sweet (we got the berry lemonade which was delightful!) There was a line when we went but it moved reasonably fast and the wait after ordering was about 10-15 mins, so not a place to go walk up if you're in a hurry but definitely worth the time if you have time. Their prices were also very reasonable in my opinion, $2 for the small fresh lemonade & about $4 for a bagel with cream cheese. Definitely going on ourr weekend treat rotation!

They have bagels you can buy to go, ones you can ask to add smear or make into a sandwich and they'll cut in half and heat, too. The have various spreads/smears to add to your bagel or can purchase a small container to go. They also sell coffee and have small seats and tables outdoors. Not much seating inside, and it can get crowded when you sit inside when a line forms. This place is a must try if you're looking for a tasty bagel!

Ugh I so wanted to love Bruegger's Bagels!! I've had their bagels at catered events and did enjoy…read morethem a lot, so this experience might be an unfortunate one-off. The bagel was so underbaked it was two shades darker than pale white and it was doughy in the center. My breakfast sandwich was also missing every topping except cheese and egg, and the egg in question was so watery it wasn't doing the underbaked bagel any favors. I shudder even thinking about it. The service itself was slow but everyone was very kind and the restaurant was clean! If you stop in, maybe skip the sandwich and go straight to a toasted bagel instead.

So when in Tucson I looked for bagel places...so when Brueggers popped up...I nearly cream cheesed my you know what's! Sorry for the vulgarity but that's how excited I was! I practically live at Brueggers in NY. And so with this being Arizona-I was a little worried that it wouldn't be the same....oh it was. So much so I went two days in a row. I had free breakfast available to me at my hotel but...this is my holy grail here. You don't even know. I'd be able to move to Tucson because they have Brueggers. These are how bagels should be crispy on the outside and dense and chewy inside. I had an egg on honey wheat with Swiss both days. That's a must for me. Yesterday I got an Asiago toasted with butter. So good!!! Today I got an everything with plain. I don't know why I love brueggers so much-I just do. I've been to many locations in several states and I've never had a bad bagel from there ever. In Vegas, we have Einstein brothers, which is actually owned by the same company that owns Bruegger's but their bagels are so inferior. I don't know why they can't be the same probably cause they're two different concepts that are just under the same umbrella company, but Bruegger's is top-tier for bagels. And the line at 10 am on a Sunday was nearly winding around out toward the door! On Saturday, I got a chocolate chip cookie, but because they were day old, they just gave it to me and it was fantastic and today I opted for a chocolate cold brew coffee. There's lots of seating inside and an outside patio. The parking is kind of a b rhymes with witch. This is near the university too. Also-the employees both days were pretty much the same staff. They were joking and laughing and smiling-that's a great indication that these people love their jobs and it's a sign of a good manager. As someone who worked in food service the morale of the staff will tell you a lot about a place. You want to see happy smiling staff, talking to each other and getting along. I even mentioned it to them today because I noticed. The two I spoke to, genuinely seemed to love their job.

I ordered mine on a gluten free everything bagel and I am honestly not sure if it was gluten free or not. Since I only have a minor sensitivity I didn't think too hard about it, but it did taste like a regular bagel. If it was gluten free then this was a great gluten free bagel! Three of our orders came out before the other two, and they told us they would bring the food to our table when it came out. We chose to sit outside, since the inside was full. After several minutes had passed, and the rest of our food hadn't come out, we went in to see our food had just been sitting on the counter. This was probably a miscommunication of some sort, but I do wonder how long they would have let the food sit there if we hadn't come in. The sandwich was good, but it did taste like something I could make at home. I would need to try more menu items at Ren in order to get a better idea, but the rest of their menu and bakery case does look promising!
