I love this place! I love the fact that they have many options for sweet and savory bagels. The breakfast bagels are my favorite and the staff is organized and helpful. I highly recommend it. Wow. It has been a while since I've come back here and I am not disappointed. I grew up coming to Bagel Tyne. Back in the 90's, it was new and became a place my family frequently went. I've been coming here for years but I have finally decided to stop. The last four times I've come here, I was given poor service and wrong orders. I will pay for extra sides such as bacon and avocado, see them write it down, be charged, and not receive it on my bagel. Last time, I had to repeat my order 3 times before the girl decided to pay full attention to me and write it down. Even then, both of the bagels I ordered were missing avocado and sausage (which I had paid extra for). Overall, the bagels are not bad here. But after continuously getting my order wrong, it feels like I am wasting my time and money. read more

Bagel Tyme...love it..instead at other establishments with sandwiches i opted for a quick bagel lunch. for the first tyme (see what i did there)? i was the only human in the place. Bagel Tyme is the place for getting breakfast or lunch to go. I had a sesame bagel with cheese and egg, which is really plain but I like that the bagel is fresh and crunchy. We stop by here every time we are in town visiting family. Right before we leave to hop on the freeway we stop and grab some bagels. Usually it is quick and yummy but this time? Yikes! Waited over 45 minutes for our bagels, no one in the place had any food, everyone seemed to just be waiting in anticipation for their bagels and, even though there were 3 girls working behind the counter and appeared to be busy, we only saw them give food to one other person within the first 30 minutes we were there. Not sure what was going on or what the hold up was but seriously? 30 minutes for 2 bagels? 45 minutes after ordering for a frikken bagel? C'mon guys! Anytime we have a softball tournament in Merced we stop here! I just love this bagel shop! Its small and I don't think I've ever walked in without there being a line! But, the ladies behind the counter are super efficient and move it along quickly. I literally CRAVE their strawberry cream cheese!!!! It taste so yummy and fresh. Everything about this business during rush hour is terrible. They have call in orders of customers ordering dozens of bagels while their in-store customers are patiently waiting for their 1 bagel that they ordered 38 minutes ago. It's really interesting that they do not put a cap on their call in orders in order to decrease the lead time for the customers that are being patient and taking the time to visit and order. It also seems like they recognize their clientele and quickly prepare their orders ahead of unfamiliar customers, which really is a slap in the face with cream cheese. Called in an order before the trip to the airport and was on hold for 15 minutes and then when I got there I waited inside for another 15 minutes and when I asked them about paying for the bagels so I could make my flight they told me to get in line to pay which was 10 people long. The employee did not wear gloves while making my bagel & she kept wiping her fingers on her jeans & the knife with a dirty towel. Most of the employees also had long stiletto nails.
