Beginning with the cashier. Her demeanor was that of "being bothered" to take an order. The ham, Swiss and egg bagel was barley warm and had the taste of metal. It's consistent bad service. They seem to be trained to ignore the folks who walk up. This morning I walked up and the girl behind the counter started sweeping. No acknowledgment or greeting. As I stood there bemused I also processed the fact that the floor being covered in food at 7 AM was curious. I also noted that the open back on the bagel display was allowing the dust from the sweeping to settle on the food. So the girl unintentionally did me a favor by ignoring me and allowing me to see the unsanitary conditions. Saved me $10 as well. She'd probably be mad to know that she did me a huge favor....... The last time I was here I picked up a salad $13.00. I counted out exact change but the girl said she could only take a card because they were closing in half an hour and she had closed the register. I have exact change I said. Card only she said. I'm Willing to pay $13 for your overpriced salad I said but it's cash. Card only she said. Ok I said you can go back to sitting on the floor, I'm sorry that I bothered you. Today was the first time Ive been back. Probably won't come back. It's often difficult for airport travelers to uproot themselves while in the gate area. So when I sat down, situated myself, plugged in my laptop, and found that Einstein Bros had given me someone else's sandwich, it meant that I had to undo all of that, risk losing my spot, and then trudge back to the counter with all my stuff. So when I report that I was given the wrong sandwich, the correct response should have been, "I'm really sorry about that, sir. We will get another going for you right away," and maybe "Can I offer you a cookie or a coupon for your trouble" if they're really on point. The response shouldn't be, "I can't take that back. You'll have to thrown it away and we'll make you a new one" accompanied by passive aggressive stares and a dramatic toss of the old sandwich into a corner. read more

These 2 individuals showed me what hospitality and amazing customers service is on a whole other level! I have been coming here almost every Monday for 2 years as a business traveler. Not sure if there has been a change in ownership or management but service has been horrible for last few months. Today is the 9th time in a row they got my Nova Lox wrong. Not only that but screwed up 5 other customers orders as we all waited. Also my smoked salmon was 2 tiny pieces this time. When I questioned it I was told only 1 ounce is allowed. If that's true, must be a new cost savings policy as this has never occurred before. To clarify this is the one next to gate 5. Will be going elsewhere on way to airport for now on. read more

Jamie and Sherry at the Pensacola Airport location are both just the sweetest, nicest people I've run into all day. Jamie takes the time to ask each customer how s/he is doing, and is genuinely interested in the answer. Sherry doesn't get to interact with the customers quite as much, because she's busy back there getting your order ready. But they both have sweet smiles at the ready for a weary traveler. And the sesame seed bagel with strawberry shmear was quite good, too! read more

And yet another pulled a hair out of their mouth and didn't make any effort to go wash their hands. No one was wearing masks (they all put them on their chins; not over their noses or mouths). I work for a major airline and see A LOT of restaurants inside and outside of airports and this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. You walk up to counter and then leave you standing there while they talk to each other, cashier was very rude and had earpods in the whole time. All of the employees except one should be working with janitorial service at the airport not in food industry. I would rather skip a meal and go hungry than give that place business again. read more

This is the Einstein's inside the security area. This is my third trip through Pensacola Airport that the staff has told me they are not doing smoithies or specialties only drip coffee. My last trip I waited in line 20 to receive that news along with two people behind me. How about an announcement? Today I was told they are short staffed and can't do smoothies. I was the only person in line. As I waited for my boarding... over an hour there was never more than two or three people at Einstein's. Either hire more staff or take things off the menu. I can understand once, it can happen. Twice, it is irritating. Three times is poor management and unsat. Right now this id not much more than a bagel and coffee vending machine. read more

I love Einstein Bagels. I surprised my son by taking him to this location for breakfast. We live in PCola. He loved it! I had the hummus veg out and he had the applewood bacon, egg and cheese. Sure, there were a few issues but I was just grateful for having this place here. It wasn't anything to whine about. Customers need to take it down a notch and give these workers a break. If something isn't right, make it right. Don't be a coward and then talk smack in a bad review. I read one review where they had card charges disputed. Are you flipping serious? Just wow. Wow I am just so impressed by Jaime and the other employees at this Einstein Brothers location. I am celiac and have a severe gluten allergy so they took the time to change cashiers so that they could go look up and make sure that the coffee they supplied me with was gluten-free. I truly appreciate them understanding the delicate nature of my allergy and treating it seriously and with kindness. They were not impatient or rude. They were super helpful! This place has horrendous service. Said Good morning twice and the cashier kept asking "Are you ordering food?" And then they complain they don't get ripped well. I come here at least 2 a month, sometimes with business partners. I will NEVER spend my money anywhere in the country that has an Einstein Bro. Hated the service.
