This is a pretty good breakfast and lunch spot in the area. The burritos are great if you eat them the day of. I saved half of my veggie burrito for the next day and it wasn't as great and the hash browns tasted stale. The nachos were pretty good though. Service was great although the wait time was quite long. Overall staff is very nice and friendly, portions are generous and food is decent!

Walked over to get something to go and walked up to the counter and waiting for a bit before I saw any employees. The gentleman working walked right by me not acknowledging me and dropped off some food and went into the kitchen. Then did it again. Eventually I engaged with him so he could no longer ignore me for him to say he was working along, cooking waiting tables and do the register etc and was not a happy camper. I asked how long it would be for my order he said he didn't know depends on who walks I. After me and what they order. I was like ok and walked outside to do some shopping. I came back waiting another 5-10 min and it was ready. The restaurant itself had a bit of an odor and is pretty much your typical strip mall establishment. Brought the food back to my hotel and it was perfectly fine, nothing outstanding but about what I'd expected. Perhaps if they had proper staffing I'd bump up the rating but to be honest I was very tempted to give it 2stars based on the guys attitude but we all have our bad days and I'm sure someone didn't show up to work so not his fault.

Food was pretty good. Portions were on the small side. Very cozy seating. Cost was higher than anticipated for a "cafe." Asked the cashier for recommendations but she looked bored and answered that she didn't usually work there, she worked at the restaurant. It was awkward and not really nice. Asked if we could have water in addition to the specialty coffees we ordered and she said sure - you get it over there and pointed vaguely to the door. For half a second it seemed like we'd have to go across the street for water. Just not service oriented here. My daughter did try to get drinks for us but they put the self serve soda machine in front of the door and she got hit by the door twice trying to get us some water because people were trying to walk in and couldn't see through the door. My husband liked the Mamma Mia: said it hit the spot. Wouldn't return.

Our daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and a side of eggs and bacon and ate every bite!

Our family very much enjoyed eating here! We ate at all 3 this past weekend. Native Cafe, Neomaya's and Cafe Bristo. They are 3 all very close together on Pensacola Beach. Neomaya's and Cafe Bistro both stood out as far as quality and taste of food. We were highly impressed with both of these! You will not be disappointed if you chpose either for breakfast. We even went back to Cafe Bistro to get smoothies for lunch and they were amazing! Native Cafe was good, but my husband and I were more impressed with their decor than the food.

Had the Veggie Burrito, it came with hash browns. It was filling! Next time, I might split a burrito. Portion size was good and burrito was cut in half, easy enough to share.

They may have rebranded, but I quickly stopped here with my family to get some bubble tea. So this review is strictly on the bubble tea itself. First off, the sizes are pretty pricey, even coming from Chicago. I know this is a big tourist spot, but the bubble tea is not worth the price. $6.50 for a small and $7.50 for large. Get the large because it is dramatically different for a dollar. The quality of the bubble tea was not great. They are charging for its size but nothing else. The mango was too sweet and tasted too much like candy. The coffee was partially my fault. They asked what flavoring I wanted and I was a little thrown off. Basically they would make an iced coffee (Dunkin' style) with boba in it. So I didn't not flavoring and not very sweet and a hot coffee with ice and boba came out. The taro bubble tea was only one to rave about- kinda. Each were too runny and wasn't thick enough to resemble average quality bubble tea. The food definitely look great, which is something they are more popular for because the small space was packed during the Blue Angels show! 5/10 IG: Carlo_hiit_the_town

Coconut Bubble Tea with Mango Poppers
    Kathryn H.

I tried their bubble tea today! I got the coconut with mango flavored poppers. It was extremely good, it took a few minutes to get my drink as they make it fresh. It tastes way better than anything I've had prior. 10/10 Flavor

Yup, we spent Thanksgiving 2021 in Pensacola Beach, Fla. The goto breakfast joints were jammed pack so we decided to try a local mom and pop breakfast joint and was not disappointed. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a change in your normal breakfast routine. BTW they do have a lunch menu too. Two thumbs-up

Additionally, the live music on the covered patio was a great touch. Loved how the vibes here were more than just another touristy seafood spot on the beach. Now for the food- everything was absolutely incredible. They print their menus daily to ensure it's up to date with their fresh catches. We started with the crab claws and BBQ oysters, which were both so flavorful and perfect appetizer. The garlic butter from the crab claws was so good I could have drank it straight from the dish. For mains: The special they had when we went last Friday was tilefish with grits, brussel sprouts, and fried shrimp and it was a must (2/6 at our table got this). Another big hit was the grouper piccata- this is another must get, and what the local in our party gets everytime she comes. The whipped potatoes are just delicious. Other dishes we got were the filet mignon and honey wasabi yellowfin tuna. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu! In the words of our server.. "chef could prepare a shoe and I'd eat it!" To finish the night, we had the key lime pie & the signature praline basket (with a brownie). Both desserts were, you guessed it, amazing. The key lime pie enthusiast at our table said it was the best he's ever had. The Grand Marlin will be seeing me again next time I'm in town!!

Asparagus were soggy and it was laid on a bed of rice that was also soggy. The cook on it was good though, the sauce that made everything super soggy- not so good. Definitely not worth $40. Mahi tacos were delicious. I'm a native Californian and they were comparable to what I'd expect from a shop back home. Chips and salsa as a side is unusual, but they were light and airy. Considering all things, I'd give this place a solid 4 (maybe 3.5 because of the ribeye). Service could have been better- but our waitress was super busy so I'll let that slide. Cheers

This was the only one that severely disappointed. Seated quickly outside. Not in the restaurant's control, but it was very hot & muggy. No breeze and no fans. Ordered a dozen raw oysters. Waitress told me it came with two sides. They charged extra for the second side. I'm fully aware of how much these places charge. Was not expecting to sweat through a 'just ok' meal for three for $200... My fault. Next time I'll trust my Yelp reviews.

I won't lie, my wife looked exquisite that night! We had been down by the bar for about 10 minutes as we were waiting for our table, as is very common on almost every night! We order two mixed drinks from the bar, even though waiting in line at the bar was just as much a wait for a table at times... my wife notices a gentleman down at the end of the bar and he's eyeballing or making her feel slightly uncomfortable... and as we wait for our drinks to be made, which took an unusually long time as they were sitting at the end of the bar at the bartender tried to feel five and six hours at a time, which in itself is not in common either... so I finally get the drinks and I noticed one has a cherry and one doesn't. No big deal, I like cherries, so I took the one with the Cherry and gave my wife the one without the cherry on top. mine tastes, great, hers. She begins to complain is so very bitter and strong, and she's like "taste this and how strong it is." So, I taste hers and it has a slight bitter bite, and much stronger than mine, so I mix our drinks together to dilute hers and about that time... My wife says to me,"I'm gonna move next to you and get closer..." so, I scooted her chair over next to me, she sits in the chair, we get very close, and as I'm going in for a nice fat tongue kiss, she becomes very pliable in her sitting posture and begins to slide in her chair toward the floor as she was telling me something's not right... long story short she said we both felt the need to exit, so I put her arm around my shoulder and supported the rest of her body with my hips, and began to walk her out of the restaurant... no one would've ever known to the extent she was beginning to become paralyzed as it was all sitting in as we were walking out of the restaurant and headed back across the street to our accommodations. We barely made it to the truck... I was praying she maintained some sort of ability to be able to keep her feet to some degree. And as she began to tell me more her mouth and bottom lip begin to slur her speech, began to become very slurred and by the grace of God, and by the time we got her to our bed in the condo she couldn't move anything on her body except her lips. She was completely paralyzed.. . She was completely incapacitated and all because I drink the drink with the cherry... so I can only guess or surmise that the plan was to incapacitate me so that someone could get their hands on her while I was incapacitated, had I drank the drink that had no cherry on top! What a ride!

If iced coffee is listed as an option, it would help if the staff were more familiar with how to prepare it. I also had to add my own cream, which made it seem like hot coffee might be more their specialty. The food itself was solid, though a bit on the pricey side. The scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast were decent. The poached egg with salmon on grilled eggplant and arugula was tasty, and the home fries were a standout--unexpectedly excellent.
