I stopped by on Sunday Aug 2nd 2020 and ordered 6 bagels & 1/2lb of cream cheese. This store was extremely hot & uncomfortable to be in. The bagel were all hard and didn't seem fresh at all. The cream cheese was okay but served sloppy. The parking is a disaster so be careful if you decide to drive here. You'll know what I mean if you ever try leaving once you've parked. I don't recommend a bagel shop that can't get bagels right. read more

Bagels and Cream is a gem in a neighborhood that doesn't have many coffee shops (just Starbucks and D&D). The bagels are delicious, but they have other options for breakfast and lunch (açaí bowls, healthy breakfast bowls, salads, etc.) Aside from the food, I LOVE the huge windows at B&C. The menu is full of a multitude of choices to enrich the bagel of your choice. I just ordered online for delivery so I didn't see the establishment. However, the ordering interface is easy to use and has many places for customizing parts of the order. Several payment methods are offered. The delivery was prompt and the owner was very helpful in correcting an error in the billing when a discount did not apply. read more

Depending on the day, the service could be anywhere from good to crap. I've come here for lunch a few times and the choices are limited but good. Came here for breakfast once and they're out of bacon. What kind of bagel place runs out of bacon ? The guy running the kitchen does only that. As he should. The guy behind the counter does coffee, bagels and collects money. And seems lost most of the time. Seems like they're always a person short. Two small coffees plus a whole wheat bagel with butter on the side. All for $4.39. The coffees were delicious and the bagel was above average. The price is unbeatable. I hope this location succeeds. It's a good alternative to Starbucks up the street where I can rarely find a table let alone a bagel and coffees at a competitive price. Bagels and Cream seem to have some nice menu selections; however, their display case is cluttered with partially consumed food items that really should be stored in a back room refrigerator. It diminishes the appeal of the salads and cream cheeses that are nicely displayed in the case. I hope they correct this. For this reason, I took off a star. They consistently cancel orders without warning and not close to closing time, this time very close to expected delivery time so we weren't making any other meal plans. If there was any other bagel place in the Bronx that delivered I'd dub this place in a heartbeat but alas. Still sucks. Guess when you have a monopoly you can do whatever you want. read more

Absolutely loved it!!! This is one of my friend's shop and their bagels and muffins are amazing! So fresh, you can taste it! Everything is baked daily all day to ensure freshness in every product. So impressed with this place. Definitely my new go to spot! read more

If I could give this place one star I would. Don't order from them as you may not get your food. I placed an order via seamless and literally 30 minutes later they called to tell me that they needed to change the order since they were out of what I wanted. It took them 30 minutes to figure this out. I would of been fine if the story ended there. Unfortunately another 30 minutes plus later, seamless called me, not the restaurant. To inform me that the order has been canceled because the restaurant doesn't have a delivery staff at the moment. How unprofessional. Bagel and cream has been my go to spot for breakfast and lunch since they opened very recently. I visit them almost everyday since I barely have time cook. They make variety of egg sandwiches, omelets and lunch items. Their price is very competitive and affordable. I stopped going to Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald for their processed food since I can have fresh meals cooked right in-front of me. I also love their coffee and their espresso drinks. It's a family owned local spot and I highly recommend you visit and try them out. read more

They make the best iced latte. And the stuff is super friendly. Chocolate chop cheese muffin is the best.

The only thing I'll add is that they have good wifi and plenty of places to plug in. Good place to study. Feels more like a breakfast/lunch place that happens to sell coffee and a lot of pastries than a coffeeshop. read more
