Delivery: I was craving a bagel sandwich and found this place on my search. It was easy to order via the Yelp app. They offer a variety of bagels and cream cheese which made it fun to mix and decide what flavors to combine. Bacon and scallion cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel with home fries. It tasted delicious. I didn't like that I couldn't add egg to my order so I just scrambled my own eggs and added it to the sandwich.

The same was done for the sausage and scallion cream cheese on a plain bagel. Delivery was fast!

I was staying within walking distance and decided to stop in for lunch. The menu had so many great options, but I went with the turkey and cheese panini with avocado and a French vanilla latte and both were delicious! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. You could tell they had a great rapport with the regulars, which gave the place a warm, community feel. It's a quiet little shop, perfect for a relaxing lunch. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try something new!

bagels are good but prob wont get anything else here again. came for lunch on a weekday and got the peri peri chicken which tasted like a microwaved meal and was packaged like one. it wasnt terrible but tasted pretty generic and not like peri peri to me. also got a chocolate croissant which was very bready and not very flaky. its a shame because the staff are great and very friendly. its always busy when i visit, so expect a bit of a wait and some chaos.

Friendly and clean, the place does a brisk business. The bagels are delicious! And the iced latte has a rich coffee flavor that doesn't require sugar. We ordered toasted bagels and the degree of "toasted" is the only complaint. Bagels were crispy on edges and not toasted elsewhere. A delightful balance of cream cheese, red onion, capers, and tomato. If you're driving through Yonkers, stop in!

Absolutely not. Prices are fine. Small coffee and bagel with cream cheese for $5.50. But this place is dirrrrty! I came in a rush after a doctor's appointment looking for anything other than McDonald's. The floor was filthy and some lights were turned off so the place looked almost abandoned. There were crumbs and seeds all over the floor behind the counter. I also saw a server get impatient with a customer who didn't speak English. I had to help translate. I felt so bad for the customer! What topped it off was that there was a piece of lettuce in my bagel. Are we also not cleaning knives? Won't be revisiting.

What I originally ordered I did not receive. Instead of this establishment reaching out to inform me of the items missing from my order. Staff decided to give anything. I originally ordered a Chicken Gyro but instead I received beef, I ordered a Nova lox bagel I received a bagel with just cream cheese. I ordered through UBER EATS I also tried calling restaurant numerous of times no answer. Food that I received looked stale. This restaurant has awful customer service and unfortunately does not care about their customers. The audacity to serve someone this.

Total disclosure: I ordered delivery and the order took 2 hours to arrive. The food was cold by that time but I chucked everything in the microwave to heat it back up. We ordered the classic French toast and the avocado omelet combo which includes a choice of bread/roll/bagel etc and a beverage (I chose a roll and a ginger ale). The French toast was fine, except that they only provided one tiny container of syrup. (It's a good thing that we had maple syrup and agave on hand.) The avocado for the omelet was black on the inside although it looked greenish on the outside (see picture). The avocado was just plopped on top so I didnt have to eat it which was probably a God-send. The omelet also consisted of sliced tomatoes, American cheese and the turkey bacon that I added for $0.75 extra. I finished most of it since we had waited so long for it to arrive. Although this place had some of the best reviews in the area for delivery it was a disappointing experience. To top it off, my bowels were a bit sensitive after the omelet. I will not be returning as a customer, but if you do, perhaps stick to the bagels..? I

I enjoy bagels, but I don't have them often because it's hard for me to justify all the carbs. When I do indulge, I always go to Empire Bagels in Pelham Bay since it's my opinion they have some of the best bagels in NYC. However, I'm an open minded person and will always give a new business a chance. I've been monitoring Bagels and Cream for a while, and when I noticed they finally opened for business I decided to stop here for breakfast. Bagels and Cream sits in the former site of Starbucks. A larger, more functional Starbucks with a drive-thru opened down the block and eventually this one closed. Walking into B&C, it doesn't look like much changed - they got rid of the bux aesthetics and replaced it with a mostly contemporary design with a metallic color scheme and clean lines. While they of course serve bagels with a variety of cream cheeses, I also noticed their menu had a number of sandwiches and lunch-style food offerings. It also looks like they're expanding the menu which will definitely help them being in a neighborhood with multiple hospitals and medical facilities. I just wanted a bagel though - so I went with a toasted sesame one and decided to try their garlic and herb cream cheese. The bagel was pretty good; not the best I've had but way better than ones I've had in Westchester or upstate. The garlic and herb cream cheese had flavor but was a little too salty for my taste; I appreciate the creativity but it needs to be fine-tuned. The service was great - everyone was really friendly and service was prompt. This is a family-run business so hopefully this remains consistent. Overall, Bagels and Cream is off to a good start. They have stiff competition from neighboring businesses, but if they keep it up I'm sure they'll get a loyal following. While I've had better bagels, the friendly service, an expanding menu, and a welcoming atmosphere all combine to a place I would return to.

I'm pretty much here everyday for lunch. I've probably come in around 100 times thus far. Everyone is friendly, they know my order by heart and begin making it as soon as I come in. The food is consistently good and reliable. It's easily the best option for breakfast/lunch for anyone working at the nearby hospital or clinics. read more

Absolutely loved this place , I ordered 3 different bagels , and two Snapple's came out to 24.13 and that includes the delivery charge , first of all let me start with the plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese & turkey bacon , so good and they don't over do it with the cream cheese perfect amount , my husband got a cinnamon raisin bagel with turkey bacon, egg & cheese , he enjoyed it so much I almost didn't get to try it , we also got the "French toast bagel" which I never had or seen ANYWHERE before and let me tell you it was very amazing , it wasn't overly sweet and I had also added strawberry cream cheese to it . But overall I think EVERYTHING we ordered was tasteful , would definitely recommend Also I wish I had time to take pictures but I'm inpatient so sorry lol read more

This bagel shop was great, I ordered a dozen plain bagels over the phone and they offered to make them fresh and told me when they will ready for pick-up... Went to pick them about 20 mins later...and boy they were nice and hot, fresh, and smelled great ! Service was great, prices very reasonable, and the staff was very, very friendly. This is going to be my only bagel shop I will be heading to from now on. read more

Very clean shop. Awesome staff and the owners were very welcoming. A gem on Eastchester road that has been open over a year. Check out this yummy bagel spot in the Bronx. They got french toast bagel and some of the meat options are halal as well. Only spot in the Bronx with Pinkberry yogurt as well. Frozen yogurt or bagel run. None of the frozen yogurt shops in the Bronx can compare to Pinkberry. Check it out. read more

I've ordered from here once before and gotten it delivered. The food was great. So today, I was driving and decided to go in. The way I saw a worker there treat and speak to one of the food delivery drivers was very demeaning. He didn't even address the man and proceeded to argue with him even though he was wrong and rude. I noticed it and said something, leaving without even ordering. I no longer feel comfortable ordering from them. If they can treat people like that, I refuse to patronize. This just happened 2/23 around 930am. It's a shame really. Now I'm at the grocery store about to get my own food to cook. Well at least I deserve my money lol. This is my 5th time here because I love their beef bacon. The coffee is very strong. Wi-Fi super fast and free. And there is free parking. They just started serving hot lunch items so even more reason for me to spend all my time here. There is a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts a block away, they're usually packed and noisey. This place is much cleaner and quieter for those of you looking for studying space. read more

We were very excited to order our breakfast from a local business this morning but unfortunately the food was very subpar. We ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese that had barely any cream cheese and the bagels overall were not toasted as requested and felt a bit stale. We also ordered a Nutella French toast which ended up being some French toast with a touch of Nutella smeared in the middle. I would give it 1 star but the quality of the lox in the lox and cream cheese bagel was very good and warrants an extra star. Won't be ordering from here again read more

What a great addition to the area! Stopped in for a quick bagel and cream cheese. The staff was extremely friendly, clean place with nice seating area. The menu has a variety of things not just bagels and spreads, they have cold cuts, salads, muffins and more! The bagels were delicious and I even got a few TO GO, which held up nicely for next day. I will most definitely be back! A must try is the scallion and strawberry cream cheese with their cold brew iced coffee! read more

This bagel shop is an awesome addition to the Bronx. I love a good bagel, and Dunkin Donuts just doesn't do it for me. I was eager to try this place out when they opened and I was definitely satisfied. Their garlic & herb cream cheese is super yummy! And because I like trying new things, I also tried their turmeric latte which was unique to me. You definitely taste the turmeric so if you don't mind the taste, the latte is quite delicious. There's a bunch of other things I want to try so I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

While i understand its covid times, i think businesses should be making an effort to earn business.. when coming to this place to pick up food we were seriously disappointed.. we ordered a quart of chicken salad - the guy filled the container and handed it to us... without measuring it!! So of course we asked to weigh it - and it was .67 smh..... and we realized that was the last of the salad - so to make more they literally mixed chicken with mayo and that was it!!! Bagels and cream is a great place for breakfast or lunch. It's light and airy, with plenty of seats and with big windows, that makes it great for people-watching. When we arrived, we saw a couple at a nearby table waiting for their order. The menu is concise; not too big or small. Their beverage selection is great. Me and my boyfriend went and had breakfast before my infusion therapy at Montefiore. It's conveniently located across the street. We ordered a medium French vanilla cappuccino, with a turkey bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted everything bagel. The cappuccino was perfectly prepared with the right amount of hot, foamy milk and coffee. The breakfast sandwich was very tasty. The turkey bacon was nice and crispy. After my infusion therapy at Montefiore was finished, the temperature outside got much colder, and we headed back to the cafe. My boyfriend ordered another French vanilla cappuccino, I requested a matcha latte. It was hot and very tasty, with the right amount of cinnamon on top. I also asked for a warmed up croissant. Our server, who politely recommend the freshly baked muffins instead, I said yes. I had a blueberry muffin. It was warm, right out of the oven! Delicious. I will consider coming here again. It's a popular spot for lunchtime too. read more

If you want to find the best bagels in the Bronx then look no further. Fresh and delicious bagels with tons of options. I had the everything bagel with cream cheese, tomato and smoked salmon. Very nice workers and cute place. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel because I was craving bacon so badly. Well surprise was on me when I got to work with my sandwich and what I got was a burnt BEEF bacon egg and cheese. Not the same, not even a little. The "bacon" was tough and dark and tasted charred. Oh the disappointment. I would've appreciated someone advising me to make sure I knew what I was getting as I was placing my order. I did mention it was my first time. Sigh. A good bagel and coffee is important to me. The bagels are decent and the coffee is up to par. The two gentleman working on the morning I visited were polite and receptive to my needs. Parking is tight and it's tough to exit but still convenient. Give it a try if you're looking for a quick and affordable breakfast. read more

I went here yesterday and today for a lox bagel. Yesterday the toppings on the bagel was good (scallion cream cheese, lox, red onion) but the bagel itself tasted like a store bought bagel that you can get prepackaged at the supermarket. I brushed it off because I figured bronx bagels arent as good as manhattan bagels. I got the same thing today and the bagel was so stale i could barely chew it. Also the employees dont wear their masks right and when i ordered today i told them i wanted to place an order for pick up, i told the guy what i wanted he said see you soon and hung up. AND i asked the guy who rung me up how much it was $10 right? even thought it said $8 on the board and he took my $10 and gave me no change so i left because i was not about to fight for $2. dont go here. read more

They need to improve their customer service skills. The key to any successful business , especially a business in the food industry , is a good customer service. I don't order from here anymore because orders are regularly canceled without informing the customers, my experience there two weeks ago was nothing short of horrific. I was ordering a simple breakfast sandwich and the person taking my order gave me an attitude as if I was begging the food for free. It's almost as if he was upset that i was there. People have bad days , I know, But that sort of behavior is uncalled for. read more

I really like the quality of the food at this place. They are also reasonably priced and the people who work there are really polite and helpful. I order the Bakers' Dozen of bagels, croissants, gyros, spreads, and a few other things. They were all very good and fresh. This has become a go to place for me when I'm in the Bronx. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting this section of the Bronx and the first time visiting Bagels and Cream. My friend recently started working in the area and I had come.to pick her up. We were both hungry and craving bagels and sandwiches. We came here because it was close by and suited our appetite. The inside is very cozy and has a good amount of seating. We ordered from the counter and the lady was very nice. I ordered turkey eggs and cheese on a toasted roll with a coffee and my friend ordered the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel with a hot chocolate. Everything was made well and had a good flavor. Our total came up to $11.50 which was more then worth it. Before leaving we decided to order some more bagels to take home as they were exceptionally good.
