This is my first time visiting this establishment. On arrival I I could see that there was no wait so I was excited and felt that I would be sat quickly. The hostess was so nice and escorted me to my seat which was going to be in the middle of the restaurant. Since my wife definitely hates sitting in the middle of the restaurant I asked if we could sit in a boost, pointing one out that was right on the other side of the large table and clean. She advised that she would have to walk me back to the front and I would have to wait for a booth. After standing there for about five minutes back at the hostess stand she then came back and walked me back to that same booth. I didn't say anything else other than thank you and sat down. The young waitress that we had was very bubbly and very much seem to want to be helpful so I was excited to have some good customer service. My expectation obviously was exceeded since everything she was asked for took a very long time to get and typically had to come from someone else. The other issue I had was every time I needed a refill I had to ask someone else and in the end she disappeared. After waiting 10 minutes I went ahead and paid on the little kiosk machine located on the table and just left even though my wife wanted a Diet Coke to go. I find this restaurant more expensive then most and I can tell that you were paying more for the Ambiance than you are the quality of food. Our waitress had a very good attitude and was very talkative which is a plus her customer service but her lack of attention really takes away from that attitude. I might revisit it again but it will definitely not be in the top five on my list. read more

First off, the atmosphere is terrific, tropical island vibes for sure, colorful walls and TV's and I love the chandeliers with the liquor bottle lights, and string lights, and the tables are vibrant as well, okay now onto the service & food..... the host staff was rude to me as soon as I walked in by degrading the way I talk....( I have a speech impediment ) so that was embarrassing in front of my friends. Terrible customer service, I made a reservation with days in advance, for my dad's Bday. By the time that we showed up (15min earlier), hostess told us that kitchen was way behind on currents tables so they won't be able to seat more clientes until further notice. (If you are short staff, then you shouldn't been taking take out orders until your room is well attend) this is common sense. You don't need to have plenty years on Restaurant Management to apply common sense. read more

Sam the manger was just plain terrible and lacking any concern or caring and refused to give her name, when approached at the end of dinner. We didn't even ask for her, our waitress asked her to come by, she didn't even stop walking, as she blew by our table asking how dinner was. Our waitress was very sweet. She tried. We ordered appetizer, salad and entrees. One would expect that order, not asking much to have the entree come out for dinner. Well entree first, sent back to wait for appetizer, then again, sent back to wait for entree, it came out again and had been just cooking under the heat lamp for these 30 minutes. So the food was good, first things first. The ambiance was nice as well. It felt like an island restaurant so it hit the mark it was trying to. But I wanted to say that the general manager, Banjo/Benjo, is absolutely incredible. He is undoubtedly the best restaurant manager I've ever seen. He never stopped moving and was right there in the trenches with the servers and back of house. And it wasn't even that busy. Like holy moly. It's so incredible to see such good managers in the restaurant industry. I made sure to compliment him on it and the first thing he did was tell me how awesome the other employees were. Stars actually 3 but added one for great service from Grayson. Surprisingly new to service industry. My party all pleased. Normally I do not eat a chain restaurant but my friends picked out the place since it was their treat. Started with Conch fritters and coconut shrimp. All good I had the same coconut shrimp in a Taco 2 would have been enough but I had gotten the 3 one went home. Wife only cause of our conversation of Barcelona visit and cruise planning ordered the Paella thought for sure would be a mistake well I was wrong as good as you can get here in the states plenty of shell fish chorizo shrimp chicken seasoned perfect yellow rice with peppers and peas one of the group ordered the seafood stuffed half pineapple but shrimp was rubber and the other guest ordered bow time pasta with some jerk chicken alfredo type sauce which could have gone either way. As per my culture and from NYC no real Italian eats anything alfredo as we call it a joke to get Americans to eat Mac and Cheese but 15.00 This is not a place for pasta even if you must eat Alfredo pasta. 3 plus 1 star for wife and I 2 star plus 1 for grayson for the other couple. read more

Food was good, I ordered the jerk chicken pasta but requested no mushrooms or asparagus. Unfortunately came with mushrooms and normally I don't send food back but I was unable to eat it so sent the food back. My husband got the grilled top sirloin with double fries. Steak was cooked correctly at medium rare and was very juicy. He ended up finishing his dinner and we sat for a while waiting for mine. Definitely would've been an awkward situation for a first date. Bahama Breeze was a huge disappointment. Our group of 13 people had reservations for over a week. We showed up only to find out they didn't know we had reservations (but we had confirmed by phone earlier in the day). They ignored us and seated 5 or more parties of 2-4 people and made no attempt to accommodate us even though we had confirmed rest. After waiting around 50 minutes with no updates, we walked out and O'Charleys next door. Another party of 8 left with us after not being seated either. The management here is terrible and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Had a lovely waitress, Hannah, sweet as can be. However, they could not find us silverware and we had to use "to go" plastic ware. Sat for 10 minutes without said silverware as food got cold. Made reservations for dinner for 3 around 6:30pm tonight and we arrived a little early, only waited a few minutes and we're promptly seated! Ordered the margarita flights; the dragon fruit is AMAZING, coconut isn't a favorite flavor of mine but it was still great and actually the strongest one. For apps we had the conch fritters, empanadas, and coconut shrimp. All were great and served hot!! The fritters have a little kick at certain parts, the empanadas are really filling so beware of that (the sauces that came with were different but good!) citrus mustard sauce is so awesome with the coconut shrimp!! We got the seafood paella and tequila sunburned salmon as entrees, the glaze on the salmon has a little heat and the portion of mashed sweet potatoes was huge and very good but I would substitute if possible next time, there was a lot of meat in the paella, could used a little more salt or something, just my opinion. The service was great, I did have to ask a different server than our own for silverware but that wasn't an issue for me. I was there with my 3 year old and several servers stopped and talked/played with my son, very friendly service! She was tasked with some not so standard requests and handled each with professional distinction. The restaurant's interior is planned to calm anyone and make folks feel good Went in last night for dinner and boy is it good. I had paella and the dish was full of fish shrimps rice of course and any other things any other fish that you think of. My daughter Had a dish with fried plantains and Beef it was amazing. The portions Were larger than expected and tasted really good. The Waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the food. Only problem I had with that they do not open until 4 PM. But if your stomach is willing to wait you're in for a Thrill. Prices were quite reasonable and I will give it a five star rating. We had a 1:15 pm reservation on Easter Sunday. We made reservations because we knew it would be busy. Upon arriving at 1:10 pm, we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. I asked why there was a 45 minute wait, because we had a reservation. The response was, "well, other people have walked in before you so they went on the list ahead of you." I explained that I understand there is a wait list of people who have just walked in, but we made a reservation for that exact purpose. Why are you on OpenTable, taking reservations, if you are incapable of holding them? Asked the server where the chicken was and he says it's really small pieces. Not what the picture shows but when he said really small pieces, he was not kidding. First and last time to this establishment. While waiting to be seated, overheard staff using profanity. Once seated, after 20 minutes of no server I had to ask for a server. Once server finally arrived, he proceeded to explain the use of the table side kiosk to place our own order. Food and drink delivery very slow. Brought food but no serving utensils and then when we asked they were delivered wet. The kiosk didn't work for checking out so had to wait for some time to get server to run card.
