Bahama Breeze is a place I hold near & dear to my heart. I first came here years ago, after my grandfather suggested it. He's lived here for most of my life and said it's a place he loves & frequents quite often! This has become a go to spot in my life as well. My family hasn't been here in a while and decided to stop by yesterday for some drinks and snacks. My mom and I had a wonderful experience with our server Will & bartender Mia. My mom had the Cloud 9 and I had the Guava goose martini! Both wear delicious. The food was also yummy! The plantains and yucca were great and the vibes were high! Jay D was an excellent server who continued to check on us throughout our time here. There's upbeat music playing, and you definitely feel the island vibes when you enter. We came for happy hour drinks and got the bahamarita, bahama mama, and the ultimate piña colada. All the drinks were delicious and so cheap during happy hour. If you like a more fresh taste go for the bahama mama. If you like a creamy, slushee consistency go for the bahamarita or piña colada. I met a friend here for lunch. It's been about a year since I've been here. I made reservations but they weren't needed, it wasn't too busy. The hostess was super friendly and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They have several lunch combos. I had the Beef Empanada Combo with the salad (or you can go with the soup) for $12.49. It was really good and I liked the pineapple chutney to dip. It was filling to me, I took two to go. Wayne was our server and he's attentive and friendly. We always liked Bahama Breeze, so when we saw that there was one just minutes from the strip, we figured it was more than worth the drive. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything tasted great and was reasonably priced, unlike prices on the strip,. The food was standard fare and not especially fancy or outstanding, but it was good. When I moved to Vegas 3 years ago I found out there was one here! Let's start with their amazing happy hour deals, 50% off select appetizers! I love the crab & three cheese dip and the classic wings. Went back after the bad service I got last time at the bar and this time was so much better! Izzy and Mya made this trip for me. Izzy greeted me as soon as I sat down and even when his shift was over Mya came to check in on me and my friend. My go to is the firecracker shrimp but had to try the buttery shrimp which came with a big loaf of Cuban bread. Both were delicious! My friend got the bahama mama and she said it was perfect. It's been a while since we came here and I feel like it's gunna take a while for us to come back. First when we sat down we were sat right next to a table with the entire dirty dishes in a bucket, when there was an entire area of open seating available. So we then asked the hosted if we were able to be moved. When we sat in our new table our server Calvin came by and introduced himself. And we let him know we were ready to order as we were in a time constraint. We ordered three things the jerk wings, the beef empanadas and the coconut shrimp tacos. After we put our food in it basically seemed like that was the last time our server checked on us, he was mostly focused on his one big table and seemed to be in the weeds when it came to his other tables. The jerk wings and beef empanadas were great, but when the shrimp tacos came we asked for the aioli to be put on the side and it came dressed with more on the side, when the server dropped it off we needed to tell him it was incorrect and he stated is yess it is.. then took it back, unfortunately it was so oily when the second one finally came out we had to ask for paper napkins from a different server so we can take out the oil to eat it quickly as we had to go, he also was unable to refill out waters as we needed to ask the other server for that as well.. Idk if I would come back, but maybe try togo food instead. read more

I'm so surprised I haven't left a review for Bahama Breeze! We've come here quite a few times for lunch, dinner, happy hour, work gatherings, and even had our wedding rehearsal lunch here! Ample parking and very easy to get to right off the road! The ambiance as you want really does fit the name "Bahama Breeze" as it feels like you're walking into a building on a pier. On certaindays/times you can hear music from a live bad/person inside which really livens up the mood! The inside is also fairly themed to match an outdoor/indoor vibe! The food: I love their happy hour foods in addition to their full menu, AND their catering. The coconut shrimp is always a good go-to, their shrimp or chicken pasta is my fav, and their paella with shrimp and mussels was a hit with our guests! I'm also a fan of their Bahama mama drink (alcoholic and no -alcoholic!) Full bar, but I love their drink menu with the various cocktails! The service: I've always enjoyed their service. Very attentive in a booth or at the bar during dinner, lunch, and happy hour. In terms of wedding rehearsal planning, they were quick to discuss & their options were very straightforward! Very easy to talk to and very accommodating :) (and yes, they do have various sections for parties- ours was enclosed and only for our wedding rehearsal guests!) I worked Formula One Grand Prix the Ferrari experience in Vegas. And I was staying at the Silver Seven. Looking for something to do after work, we walked across the street to Bahama breeze. It happened to be happy hour! that's always a plus... It was like a Bahama looking building like it was colorful in the outside I've been to Bahamas, and it reminded me of being in the Bahamas the inside as well very kind of Bahamian rustic-nautical. Bartender was great had excellent suggestions and we shared a plate and had a few drinks and I liked it a lot food was good. Service was great! First time here with a few co-workers and what a pleasant surprise. It reminds of the type of restaurant with a beach that I've been to - great vibe. The hosts at the entrance were pleasant and the wait staff were nice too. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and we all started with our drink order. We also ordered apps to get us started. We had jerk wings, empanadas, cheese sticks and shrimp. Everything was pleasing and we all enjoyed them with our tropical drinks. Everyone their entrees, mine was the skirt steak and it was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. For dessert, we ordered 2 of everything so we could all try them. Plenty of booths and tables for private dining. Bahama Breeze has been a Las Vegas staple for as long as I have been traveling there for work. 2006 was my first visit. I happened to be served by a server who has been there since 2004. Very friendly and polite gentleman, who called himself "the old man". Although I think he was younger than myself. I ordered steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The seafood chowder is a must try. I get it everytime I go. I also like their ultimate Pina colada which has strawberry daiquiri in it. No matter what state we visit a Bahama Breeze in we always leave satisfied, and this visit was no different. We had a large group (20+ people) and the two waitresses that served us were awesome! Refilled beverages and made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend the jerk chicken pineapple bowl- so good. The mahi mahi tacos are really good. I've been to Bahama Breeze several times now and always had a wonderful experience! It's definitely a more casual, fun restaurant but don't think that affects the quality of the food! Previously, I've always had the Island Snapper. It's extremely flavorful and the presentation is gorgeous. This fish dish is better than I've had at upscale restaurants that charge twice the price (and my Mum wholeheartedly agrees). This time, I decided to change it up and try the new Jerk Mahi Mahi. It was wonderful (but a bit spicier than I expected, so don't order if you don't love spice). I especially loved the "tomato salad" and would bring home a big container if possible. I do like the snapper a bit better, but they are both great and it's more a matter of preference. In there past others at my table have had the following (hope their opinions help!): Coconut shrimp - yummy and she has since ordered again multiple times! Seafood paella- mostly rice with small seafood. Nothing special Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon - really good flavor, but they tried some of the snapper and liked it better /wished they'd ordered that. Also, felt like the sweet potato mash and the green beans felt "Thanksgivingish" and didn't necessarily go with the fish. The servers I have had have all been friendly and attentive, so I'm guessing they have a great staff overall. Overall, this is a great restaurant that I will continue to come back to. They quality of the fish dishes I've tried has been amazing and the prices are beyond reasonable! read more

We paid for our beverages and anything else we wanted to eat. It was a Friday in late August. It was busy, loud and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, hot and tasty. The favorite was definitely the Jamaican Jerk whole chicken wings. It was spicy but not overly. The wings were juicy and moist. The cheesy crab dip, spinach and artichoke dips were creamy and perfect with the tortilla chips served up with them. I feel like Bahama Breeze is great for small to large gatherings. Hey Yelpers! We've been here a few times as locals, so I'm gonna kinda combine the visits into one catchall review. The atmosphere in here is great. The inside is very tropical with lots of plants, water features, with wood accents and warm colors. They have a "patio" area with lots of windows and a giant gas-powered fire pit. That's my favorite place to sit at. The food here is great. I highly recommend the jerk chicken wings (especially if it's happy hour), seafood paella, and jerk shrimp pasta. Last time, I had the jerk Mahi Mahi, and it was simply amazing! I would like to have that right now as I'm writing. The mixed drinks can tend to be on the sweet, syrupy side. Stick with cocktails that they make fresh. As for the service, they do a really good job. We had Tre as our server last time and he was great. We were his only table out on the patio (he had other tables inside), so we were able to chat with him a bit more. Great guy and emblematic of how awesome Bahama Breeze can be. It's been a while since we enjoyed this Jamaican place. It's early afternoon and it's not very busy. So seating is fast and our server is experienced and had no problem giving recommendations. My husband ordered us a couple of appetizers, first had creamy cheese and artichoke dip with chips. The dip was very cheesy and seasoning was what you'd expect. The chips just a bit old but still passable. The second app was the Beef Empanadas. They look like a plate of nachos with a chutney and sour cream served on the side. The pastes were crispy and the beef seasoning was done well. These were very good and would eat them again. By the way both apps were during happy hour and half off! This was another idea suggested by our server. She saved us a few dollars and we enjoyed them even more knowing they didn't cost as much. I wanted a bowl of Bahamian seafood chowder. This was rich and creamy, plenty of seafood and some carrots and celery. I enjoyed it. For my entree I had the Jerk Chicken Pineapple Bowl. Yes it was served in a pineapple half. Inside the bowl is Sautéed chicken, white rice, diced pineapples and sweet peppers tossed in a jerk pineapple glaze, in a fresh-cut pineapple bowl. This was a gentle reminder of sweet and sour chicken I enjoy from my favorite Chinese restaurant. My husband opted for the Seafood Paella. It had Sautéed scallops, shrimp, mussels, chicken and chorizo sausage with yellow rice. There was a lot of seafood in that plate. Our meal was really good. The food was alright, but came with some weird sides that I didn't care for (like whole pieces of banana with peel and spicy sauce on top?). I got Salmon and it was pretty good quality. I had Salmon at a restaurant in Manhattan Beach on this same trip, and this wasn't my favorite of the two, but it was definitely appetizing. It was very busy inside and the ambiance was a little nerve-racking, but everything else was pretty satisfying. The cocktails were VERY good (I had a raspberry daiquiri), I will say that much for it.
