I knew Catch was one of the most famous restaurants in Las Vegas, but my first visit still exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I could see why it's such a popular destination. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was excellent, and every dish was beautifully presented. The Whole Branzino is an absolute must-try--it was hands down the best grilled fish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked with crispy skin, tender, flaky meat, and incredible flavor. The Wagyu Fried Rice was another standout, packed with rich, savory flavors that paired perfectly with the fish. Everyone puts up pics of the entry, it's very pretty and long. We had a 7 pm reservation and showed up 655, checked in and then waited until about 710 before we were seated. It was jamming on a Monday night. All the Vegas is dead talk had not made it here for sure. Service was slow, we waited about 10 mins before a server came by to welcome us and take outlet drink order. Was a while before we got the drinks and were able to put some food in. We ordered the premium nigiri flight (110) that comes with all the special nigiri on the menu. Also got the catch roll (25) and the MRC roll (24). We added sea urchin sashimi (25) salmon sashimi (17) and hamachi sashimi (16). All were amazing, really fresh and the premium options were delicious. Unique presentation for each one, including Wagyu with caviar. Yumm. We added a half dozen east coast oysters (29) and the rice cake appetizer (31) along with the king salmon entree (45) to round out the meal. Everything was spiced perfectly until the end, then we got the oysters, rice cakes and salmon pretty much at the same time. Sucked down the oysters so I could get to my hot entree. Salmon was very good, came with green beans and an edamame purée. Cooked perfectly and very tasty We waited a while before anyone came by to clear the dishes and offer dessert. We decided to pass, took so long we just wanted to get up, too old to sit for so long lol. They sent us some cookies for our anniversary which was really nice. Diane and I ate here for the first time on our 36th Anniversary. We were quite pleased with the overall experience, which included colorful floral beauty for the eyes as well as great tastes for the palate. I began with a Hellfire Roll, which featured Spicy Tuna at a spice level of about 7 of 10. It was quite good. A Shrimp Cocktail was next up, with very meaty shrimps and a little zesty cocktail sauce. For a main I selected Herbed Oven-Roasted Branzino, while Diane ordered Crispy Shrimp. I appreciated the fish being served very hot. Parmesan Truffle French Fries were very salty and had chives adhering to them. So, a new chive-free batch was prepared for Diane. Otherwise we received excellent cooking. As warned, a Chopped Salad was huge in size but quite tasty. I took over half home for lunch. Freshly made Chocolate Chip Cookies were given to us as an anniversary gift. But, way above the call of duty in our estimation, we also received a complimentary $23.00 Brownie "Hit Me" Chocolate Cake accompanied by "Liquid Klondike" Dulche Deleche Ice Cream. It was great, but we were so stuffed that most of the cake, too, came home with us. As an unusual touch Iced Tea was served in a small mason jar. The noise level in our dining room was loud, but driving, pulsing electronic music and vocals created a nice musical backdrop for our dining experience. Before our trip, we had a reservation for Zuma but received an email that it was cancelled due to a private party so we pivoted to Catch. The entryway is beautiful but the section of the restaurant we were seated was rather dark - we were lucky to be near a hanging light. The young lady who sat us never smiled or spoke which is unusual (in my experience) for a more upscale establishment. Our primary server was very friendly, giving us off the menu options (specials) but we didn't see much of him. To be fare, it was a busy night. We ordered: Salmon nigiri that was a special off the menu - sorry, I can't remember the exact name - 4.5 stars! My daughter is the salmon lover, not I, but this was so fresh, no fishy taste that salmon can have - loved it! The Catch Nigiri flight - 5 stars. The tuna's were the best the bites of the night. This salmon was my least favorite BUT I'm not a big salmon sushi girl, so no stars removed Catch roll, HellFire roll, MRC roll - 2 1/2 to 3 stars. Disappointing, the descriptions had our mouths watering but the end product was ho-hum. The Catch roll was the biggest bummer of the group. Wagyu Fried Rice - 1 star. I RARELY give a 1*, especially at a higher end restaurant, but my heavens, it was mushy! Mushy fried rice - what the heck! When our waiter came back over, I told him how unappetizing it was and inquired how the dish is made. Points to our waiter, he let us know sometimes the kitchen over sauces the dish and he kindly removed the dish from our table and the bill. If we would have eaten more than a spoonful each, I would have waived off his offer but it was just so bad we gladly accepted. Overall, I would recommend the Nigiri flight, but not the rest. I have stayed at the Aria many times and this restaurant has been on my list to try but didn't get a chance til this past weekend. Even though we were staying at the Bellagio my husband and I made a last minute reservation online and came here for a late dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and has great vibes. From the entrance you can tell how pretty it's going to be inside and it did not disappoint. The hostess was not welcoming at all. She checked us in and said wait for our table which is being cleared up. After a few minutes we were seated, not in the mani dining room but the one on the right side which is not as pretty as the main but it's ok I know we made the reservations on that day. So no big deal. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We started with edamame and shishito pepper. Both fresh and delicious. Then we ordered the ceviche and both of us loved it very much. To be honest both my husband and I were in the mood for sushi so we stuck to ordering sushi. Boy was that a disappointment. The Catch roll was not to our taste , it had crab salmon miso honey and the waiter used a torch to cook the salmon on top. It smelled so bad after he did that. Smelled burnt ... I didn't eat that roll after that. Then we ordered a few cut rolls like salmon tuna yellowtail ... all so basic and no taste. So so disappointing to serve this kind of sushi at a fine restaurant . So it turns out we would have been better off ordering non sushi items from the menu. We could have enjoyed our dinner. So after the last roll we called it a night and left. The reviews said they have excellent sushi but I don't think so. Now I wonder how everything else tastes here. Maybe one day I'll have a better experience with food here. Enormous disappointment. We were so looking forward to our meal here. I'm in my "seafood period" right now and I was excited at the potential I saw in the menu here. It's beautiful. But you no doubt know that from all of the Insta pics. Plan on some extra time to allow all of the wannabe influencers that are staging photo shoots at the entrance, which is famously decked out in fake flowers and pretty vignettes. It's all downhill from there. We were about 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and the hostess told us she would seat us "closer to our reservation time". OK. That is sort of unusual since the restaurant seemed empty but sure. 5:30 came and went. We went back up to the hostess stand... apparently there was some shift change that was holding things up. Again, that's OK. But there was an attitude about it all that wasn't very friendly. We were shown to our table soon and it was a nice curvy booth. We both noticed pretty quickly that the music is too loud. That makes everyone have to talk loudly so you will be surrounded by tables of people yelling at each other. Our server seemed distinctly unimpressed that we didn't order any alcohol. You could see the moment he lost interest in us. When my partner asked about the chicken he sort of menu shamed us. We ordered expensive food so his attitude was unnecessary and he did warm up a bit after that. I had the seafood tower for one. This is $68 a person. When they put it in front of me, I was honestly confused. I couldn't hear a thing our server was saying over the loud music so I missed his descriptions of the items. There was something so bizarre on this seafood tower - something that looked like an oyster shell full of whipped cream. What in the world? Oh it's so much worse than that. To my horror, I tried it and found this is some sort of absolutely foul lemongrass cream or some nonsense like that. It was an enormous amount of it - a full mouthful and at the bottom of the shell was supposedly an oyster. I didn't find it and I wouldn't want to eat an oyster that had been sitting in that offensive pool. Wow. That is so amazingly bad. Nowhere on the menu do they warn you what they are going to do to your oysters. It's truly appalling - so bad in fact that I just had to say something to the waiter. He seemed surprised but I don't buy it. This cannot be popular. Anyway, rant over. The rest of the seafood tower was just OK. The lobster was tiny and not super fresh. The shrimp were sort of "meh" but the hit surprisingly was the scallop ceviche... very nice and bright. Note there is no bread either offered or on the menu. Felt weird. It's needed. For our main course, my partner got the filet mignon and a side lobster tail. His lobster was also of the "wee" variety and a bit tough. Steak was nice though and cooked as requested. I had the Truffle Mushroom with Spaghetti and added the jumbo shrimp. This was also terrible. I thought I liked truffles - but I bit into something in this dish that again I can only describe as foul. And the sauce was just too much and overwhelming. I ate about three bites and just gave up. We spent about $260 before tip. With no drinks. This was a pretty stunningly bad meal. read more

My husband and I went to Catch while in Las Vegas. We wanted to try a new restaurant, and after researching a few places, we found Catch had great reviews. The restaurant was busy, but with a reservation we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server quickly came over to take our drink order and was very friendly. The restaurant's vibe was trendy and beautiful. For our appetizer, we ordered the edamame and crispy cauliflower. OMG--the cauliflower was delicious! It had the perfect crisp thanks to its light breading and was tossed in a spicy vegan mayo. Even though it had a generous amount of sauce, each piece still maintained its crispy texture. For our entrées, we ordered the Vegetable King Roll with king oyster mushroom, cucumber, avocado, and spicy miso. We also ordered the Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti with the added shrimp option. The spaghetti was perfect. The truffle flavor wasn't overwhelming, but it was definitely present and paired wonderfully with the rich mushroom sauce. For dessert, we ordered the vegan pistachio cheesecake with a side of coconut sorbet. It was so decadent and delicious. The portion was more than enough for the two of us to share and was the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend Catch and hope to go back the next time I'm in Las Vegas. read more

Right out of the gate this place catches your attention. The entrance is BEAUTIFUL. The water feature, butterfly wings, and floral walls are all perfectly instagramable. We started with drinks a few of us had the "For Lychees sake" (it was sweet and strong) and old fashioneds (traditional and tasty) Our appetizers were the crunchy shrimp and the crispy rice with tuna- both of these were the favorites of the night! Our party of four had a 5 pm reservation that we were able to make the same day. Already probably not a good sign. The only reason we chose Catch was because we were staying at the ARIA, needed an early dinner reservation, and had some credit through the hotel. Since we had a late lunch, none of us were really that hungry so we ordered a bunch of small things to share: -Tuna Tartare - the fish was fine. Nothing special about it. The avocado on the bottom tasted a little bit like those pre-packaged guacamoles you'd find at the supermarket -Grilled Spanish Octopus (crispy potato, sofrito, garlic aioli) - this was probably the better dish of the night. You usually can't go wrong with octopus -Mashed Potatoes (with roasted garlic) - the texture was kind of gummy and not the fluffy mashed potatoes I was expecting -Brussels Sprouts (yuzu-calamansi vinaigrette, dry miso) - this was so salty. I didn't taste any yuzu or calamansi. Maybe they put too much miso I think this spot is meant more for the 'gram than it is the food. At the entrance they have a pretty archway where you can take pictures. So if that's your thing, maybe just take the pictures and leave (lol). This might be the worst meal I've had on this trip to Vegas. read more

I ate here on a Friday night around 9:30-10:00 p.m. My husband and I had a great meal. Things I love: the chili edamame. Sweet, mild spice--YUM. The crispy shrimp--tasty, crispy and not mushy, and the spicy mayo? Perfect. The truffle sashimi, MRC roll, and the Parmesan truffle fries were all a hit. My entree was the crispy chicken--no bueno. That was my mistake for ordering chicken at a seafood restaurant! I was not fond of the chicken--it lacked flavor. The breading on the chicken was okay, but not the best. I'd skip this menu item. Catch is a good spot for a meal for a group and it's perfect for all seafood lovers. Service wise, our waiter was clocking out for the evening so we had a switch in waiters. We ordered the pre-set meal to share with the table. For appetizers, we had edamame, the Hellfire roll, the Catch roll and truffle sashimi, nothing really stood out. For second course, we tried the baby gem Cesar salad (4/5), wagyu gyoza (3.5/5) and Crispy cauliflower (5/5). The cauliflower was highlight of the night. For the mains, we got the ribeye and roasted branzino. The ribeye was undercooked for medium rare, the center pieces were pretty much raw. The branzino was cooked pretty well, tender and nicely seasoned. I could probably do without the artichoke that came with it though. For the sides, we got truffle fries (5/5) and grilled broccolini (meh). Desserts were solid, hard to go wrong with chocolate cake and donuts. Overall the only dish that really stood out for me was the crispy cauliflower. Maybe my expectations for Las Vegas dining were too high, but I ended up not very impressed. For a similar price point, I can honestly find much better sushi or steak restaurants back home in Houston. read more

Everything in this place is good! All that we tried is delicious! Their cocktail menu is good as well. The best i highly reco is the matcha cheesecake! Servers here are real nice and friendly, not to the point where they keep asking you if you need anything but they know when you need something The entry way is really nice, they have this really cute flower walls perfect for photo ops. Late by a few months but finally got a chance to review Catch! Gorgeous entry even before going inside the restaurant! Love the floral ceiling and surrounding greenery. Reservations are encouraged. Our waiter provided excellent service and he was very friendly. Cocktail: Kenny's Espresso Martini MRC roll (seared tuna, shrimp, avocado, ponzu brown butter) was alright. Don't make the mistake of ordering only half dozen of East Coast Oysters; get the dozen! Refreshing and delicious! Also enjoyed the truffle mushroom spaghetti. Went for our yearly holiday dinner at 6pm on a Sunday. We were seated promptly at a NY-style side by side seating. The restaurant is full of IG-able scenery. Lively but not overly loud. We ordered the chili garlic edamame, hellfire roll, crispy rice cakes, branzino for 2, and mashed potatoes. The edamame was slightly spicy but not overly so and tasted great. Don't be scared off from the hellfire roll for fear of heat. It wasn't that spicy but was delicious. I'm not a big crispy rice cake fan but these were good. The fish was the star, it comes covered in a mix of veggies and had plenty of meat for both of us. The mashed potatoes were also very good. Only knock would be bo unflavored iced tea (only peach). $240 with tip. read more

Catch is located within the Aria hotel and marketed as an Asian fusion seafood restaurant. The dishes are meant to be shared family style and if you are looking for fresh sashimi this is the place to be. The truffle sashimi and hamachi watermelon were some of the freshest dishes of raw fish I have had. We also sampled the "rock" A5 Wagyu beef. Pricy for sure but the experience must convince some that it was worth it. For mains we had the branzino for 2 and the wagyu fried rice. Again, the beef was butter soft and the branzino was tasty, fresh and so easy to eat. If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would. I'm going to be generous and give 4 stars because while the wait staff was good, the reservations system isn't. We waited 15 minutes for our table inspite of having a reservation. Walked into the restaurant and it was half empty. Also they do not stick to their dress code. They say they strictly enforce the dress code, no swimsuit, bikini tops etc but that's not enforced. That's fine but for us that follow rules, I could've just shown up after a day at the pool in shorts and a tank top which would be more decent than some of the diners. Be consistent. Lots of restaurants in the area are. Food wise, give it a try. read more

We visited Catch on Sunday evening. They have a gorgeous entry with flowers hanging from the ceiling and photo opportunities throughout the whole entrance. We were seated after about a 15 minute wait. They have a bar area but it was full so we waited in the lobby area of the Aria. Once seated we were greeted by our server and we ordered some drinks. The busser kept our waters filled all evening. Great service on his part! Our server was good, although maybe a little pompous. He acted like he had never met people who had not been to Catch before and simple questions like - "are 2 appetizers and 2 rolls enough food for us" was met with aloofness. As for the food, we started with the crunchy rice cakes and the crispy cauliflower. And wow!! Both dishes were excellent but cauliflower will never be the same for me again. It was so SUPERB! It was cooked perfectly and coated in a delicious sauce. We could not stop talking about this dish. We also had two rolls- the Baked king crab roll and the Hellfire roll. Both were good with the Hellfire being our favorite. For dessert we had to try the Hit Me Chocolate cake which was fun and scrumptious. For three of us we could have had another dish. Catch does not include gratuity like some other Vegas restaurants. And the incredible decor and food make this a guaranteed return restaurant for me. read more

This place is not only the definition of instagramworthy with their incredible aesthetic and ambience, but the food is also superb! Great spot for seafood! More of a family style restaraunt where everything is shared and brought out as it's made. We started with the crispy rice and tuna sashimi pizza and it was DELICIOUS! My husband and I went to CATCH last night for dinner for the first time. I was excited since I've wanted to try it forever. When you enter the Aria from the front, CATCH is immediately ahead of you which is so nice - it's so easy to find! The corridor to head into the restaurant is also so cool with floral decorations and is great for photo ops. We sat at a booth that looked out into the middle of the restaurant, and it's such a pretty space. We had a pretty late lunch, so we only ordered sushi and smaller bites, but everything we got was sooo good. - truffle sashimi: so delicious and fresh. I loved the caviar and ponzu! - catch roll: so good! This was a pretty filling roll and the crab was great. - spicy tuna roll: very flavorful and some of the best spicy tuna I've had! - crunchy rice cakes: truly some of the best crispy rice spicy tuna I have had. I am a soy sauce lover and this didn't even need it. So so good! Would definitely come back here and it was such a fun Vegas spot.
