It had been three years since we were last here. A Labor Day weekend special lured us back, and we were glad that we came. It was just the two of us again, for dinner. The dining room was largely empty on a Saturday night. This initially surprised me, but as fuel prices and grocery costs continue to climb, it is becoming noticeable that fewer people are traveling to Las Vegas for pleasure, and locals are eating out less often--especially at high end places like Morton's. We ordered a combination of Labor Day weekend specials and regular dinner menu items. Prices on the menu were so dim that I could barely read them without extra light. The dining room is notably devoid of windows. A Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was meaty and enjoyable. And cheesy French Onion Soup Gratinee was peppery but hot and excellent. while Diane liked her Cup of Lobster Bisque. A Steakhouse Wedge Salad was outstanding, great-tasting with Bleu Cheese Dressing. And by meal's end I had fully consumed a complimentary large, round loaf of Poppyseed Bread by myself. Then we each had a 6 oz. medium-rare Filet Mignon coupled with Shrimp Alexander and a huge, perfectly cooked Baked Potato and Sauteed Button Mushrooms for me, and a 5 oz. Lobster Tail with Drawn Butter and Baked Potato for my wife. For dessert we each had Hot Chocolate Cake a la mode, which was decadent and heavenly. This review takes us back to March 21st, when Candice and I met up with friends and neighbors for dinner at Morton's The Steakhouse. To kick off the evening, I ordered an Bruichladdich Octomore 15.3. If you're into Scotch, you already know Octomore is famous for being one of the peatiest, smokiest whiskies on the planet. It was absolutely delicious and a fantastic way to start the night. For appetizers, we shared the Seared Ahi Tuna, and it was outstanding. The ahi was seared perfectly, the balsamic soy caramel added just the right amount of sweetness, and the pickled vegetables and crispy capers brought everything together beautifully. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. For our entrées, Candice ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye, while I decided to splurge on the Wagyu Ribeye. I'll start with the good. Candice's dry-aged ribeye was excellent. You could immediately taste that rich, dry-aged flavor, it was cooked perfectly, and it was incredibly juicy. Unfortunately, my Wagyu was a different story. It was cooked to the requested medium-rare, but instead of the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth experience you expect from Wagyu, it was surprisingly dry and chewy. Having enjoyed Wagyu at restaurants all over the country, I have to admit I was disappointed. Since we were out with friends, I kept it to myself and just enjoyed the evening. For sides, we ordered the Thick-Cut Onion Rings and the Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes. Those potatoes? Absolutely the bomb. If you visit Morton's, they're a must-order. If we ever go back, I'd definitely skip the Wagyu--especially considering the price--and either order the dry-aged ribeye or go with what I was originally considering: the 16-ounce Prime Cajun Ribeye. For dessert, we finished with their signature Molten Lava Cake served with house-made ice cream. It was good...not the best we've had, but definitely enjoyable. So, would we return? Honestly...I'm not sure. We've been to Morton's four or five times since moving to Las Vegas, and years ago--especially when money was tighter--it always felt like a special occasion. But after experiencing so many incredible steakhouses over the last 15 years, it disappoints me to say that Morton's just doesn't feel like a top-tier steakhouse anymore. Service also played a role. Our server never once came back to ask how any of the food was or whether we were enjoying our meal. That simple follow-up can make a huge difference in the overall dining experience. If I had to rate this visit, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Not a bad meal by any means, but with so many exceptional steakhouses in Las Vegas, it's hard to justify putting Morton's near the top of our list anymore. Of course...never say never. read more

Everything from the food to the service to the drinks and ambiance was beautiful. The staff was incredibly nice and thorough. Our drink orders were placed. We started with onion rolls followed with ceasar salad. The croutons melted in your mouth. Then the entrees, I ordered the 12 oz Prime Cajun Ribeye the flavor was insane but to spicy at all, she ordered the 8 oz Filet Mignon. Both were served with a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Last, the cheesecake. Morton's is was the spot I picked to eat for my Birthday. We love Steak houses and go to many of them but never have been here. We made reservations for 6 and were on time. We were seated immediately as well. The restaurant decor is stunning . It's very romantic and relaxing . When seated you are just given their large wine list menu to review. We were sitting there for about ten minutes when a young gentleman came to give us water and asked, no one has come to bring you menus or take drink orders from you ? We replied no. You can see that the restaurant was very short staffed but we were not in a rush . About 10 minutes later our waiter came and introduced himself and gave us our menus and then we had given him our drink orders. When he returned with the drinks we were ready with what we wanted to order . we ordered there famous wagyu meatballs and then our meals. I orders Fillet mignon and a Lobster Tail , and my hubby ordered a Rib eye. Our side was Crab Mac and Cheese . I ordered my steak medium and my husband ordered his the same . It did take about 25 minutes for the food and that's understandable. They brought our table the most amazing onion Bread. It's to die for. Our food arrived and my Lobster was great my steak was cook more on the well side and more salty than I would have liked. My husband loved. his steak. Mac and cheese was good but not the best. First time here and what an amazing experience. The inside was really nice and it was a relaxing moderately toned dinner where you can enjoy the food and conversation. Our server Denise was very friendly and provided top notch service. We ordered off the Restaurant Week Menu which started with the Cup of French Onion Soup and the Lobster Bisque. Both were really good. We also had the wedge salad and the Wagyu Beef Dumplings. Both were really good, the salad was well put together and very tasty. Next course was the Double Cut Pork Chop and the 6 oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. It had a really good taste. The pork chop was seasoned well and tasted really good. We had the Truffled Cream Corn and the Creamed Spinach and they were excellent. We finished with the Crème Brûlée and the Key Lime Pie which were really yummy and a nice end to an excellent meal and service. Compliments to the Chef here. Looking at the regular menu the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity and the atmosphere as a whole is elegant but relaxed and enjoyable. This is a place we will definitely be back to as the food is excellent, the service is excellent, the staff from the hostess on down were amazing. The manager came around a few times to check on tables and to ensure you were having a great experience. This is a top notch establishment under the Landry's brand and one I will frequent. They do not give Military Discounts at this establishment which is a little sad but I will definitely be back. I have no problem spending my money here. I highly recommend this place. read more

Date night with the hubby compliments of our Timeshare Bluegreen. We've never been to Vegas and have never been to a Morton's Steakhouse. Everything about this place was beautiful! We started with a drink, I had a Lemon Drop (three) and he had an Old Fashioned (five). We started with onion dinner rolls and fresh butter. We both enjoyed a Cesar Salad and the croutons were so fresh and tasteful. I then ordered the 8oz Filet Mignon and he got the 16 oz Prime Cajun Ribeye both came with a jumbo lump crab cake, mashed potatoes and green beans. Both steaks were good, but I actually liked the Ribeye better. I thought it would have been more spicy, but it was flavored perfectly. We were then served cheesecake. I am not sure what it is, but the crust in simply delicious. That cheesecake deserves a little thicker crust! Last, I enjoyed a latte to end the meal. The service was amazing. I stopped by Morton's Steakhouse and took advantage of their Bubbles & Bites special, available through the end of January and offered in the bar area only. I arrived around 5 p.m. (they open at 4) and was able to grab a seat right away. The atmosphere was dimly lit, elegant, and upscale, with a business-casual vibe. Service was quick and attentive. I enjoyed a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label while waiting, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The smash burger sliders were delicious. They were thick, juicy Angus beef and the Parmesan & truffle fries were crispy and flavorful. Everything was excellent. Great value and a classy experience. The service could've been a bit better. I was never asked if I needed anything additional. The bartender did ask how my burger was, but never asked if I wanted another drink, dessert or anything of that nature. This is a Happy hour review. Staying at the Virgin casino, we wanted to check this out...very walkable from Virgin. The inside is very nice and plays great music. We snagged a table and we were instantly greeted with amazing staff members. We ordered the happy hour beers...5.50 for domestics and also a Dos Equis. We went for the later. We both ordered the filet minion sliders with just meat and bread only...also got the matchstick French fries. These were huge and deliciously hot. The sliders were good...bun was a little harder than imagined...but nothing a sauce would not fix. This was also huge for the price point. What a great price seeing a glass of Veuve in Vegas easily ranges anywhere between $25-40 a glass. The food took a long time to come out and the service felt a bit slow for what it was, but the servers were friendly and attentive. I forgot how dark inside it is at Morton's, but the bar area was definitely busy for a Thursday night and it seemed everyone was there for the Veuve special. I got the smash burger sliders and since I wanted another glass of champagne which was going for $25, the server suggested getting another combo meal so I got the friend chicken sliders to go. First off I love everything about it the food the people the atmosphere it was electric of course it is Vegas so what can you expect but this place was definitely welcoming and warm ! Another great experience here for "National Filet Day" yesterday! Even though the bar area (including surrounding high-top tables) was more crowded than usual, service was still on-point! Thanks to Dave, the bartender/server for making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The special $2 filet mignon sandwiches were slider sized and a huge hit with our table of 4; we must've had at least 20 of them! They even brought us extra sauces upon request, though the sandwiches already had good flavor, IMO. I also ordered a house chopped salad which was huge and delicious. Good amount of toppings, incl real bacon and yummy chunks of avocado. We also enjoyed the onion rings and a variety of drinks, all on happy hour, loved that! Really nice, upscale ambiance as always. Some in our party felt it was too dark to see, and I agree it's a bit jarring to come straight out of the Vegas sun into such a dark interior, but I was fine with it once my eyes adjusted. I might recommend to management to put those new mini lights on the table that have a low setting and a brighter setting for when you want to read the menu. This place reminded me of an old school steakhouse vibe. We sat at the bar tops and our server was Karl, he was so amazing and attentive. I think the staff overall was on top of everyone to make sure they were well taken care of and no gaps in service. Karl suggested the manhattan-the State and it was delicious. We also had the mini crab cakes they came with an arugula salad and it was well dressed and a great compliment to the crab cakes. Those were delicious, tender, and meaty! I would have put that on a bun and gon to town! Overall I feel like I would go back and try many things. I was truly looking forward to celebrating my daughter-in-law's birthday at Morton's The Steakhouse on Flamingo this past Monday night. I arrived early, and the rest of our party arrived shortly after. It was a slow evening with plenty of open tables, so we anticipated attentive, polished service to match the Morton's reputation. The food itself was excellent. The seafood tower was spectacular. The French onion soup was perfectly done, the lobster bisque was outstanding, and the steak was a true melt-in-your-mouth experience. The kitchen delivered. Unfortunately, the service was deeply disappointing. Nothing was rushed, in fact, everything moved painfully slow. Drinks took an excessive amount of time to arrive and were overly sweet, requiring us to send them back. The bread had to be replaced because the bottom was stiff like a rock. We were courteous and respectful about each correction, yet the attentiveness noticeably declined afterward. There was no proactive service. Water glasses sat empty. Used plates and glassware remained on the table far too long. Courses took forever to arrive despite the restaurant being nearly empty and fully staffed. It genuinely felt as though we were an afterthought, as if the staff was more focused on closing procedures and preparing for the morning shift than on the guests sitting in front of them. The most disappointing moment came when dessert was brought out to celebrate my daughter in law's birthday. The desserts were placed directly onto a table cluttered with dirty plates, glassware, and visible food spills. It was messy and careless. When I mentioned that the table hadn't been cleared, our server laughed dismissively. In that moment, it was clear the standard of hospitality we expected simply was not there. This is considered a four-star steakhouse. I understand it's not Michelin-starred, but when you spend $500 on dinner, premium service should absolutely accompany that price point -- especially in a hospitality-driven city like Las Vegas. Despite the experience, we still left a 20% tip because we understand that everyone works for gratuity in this industry. That said, tipping out of principle does not erase the disappointment. We came to celebrate. The food was wonderful. The service fell far short of what Morton's name represents. read more

TLDR--Great experience and staff, cooks on steak wasn't on point but tasted good, sides may not be worth it, desserts not too bad. Overall, could you do better at home making it yourself? Absolutely, yes. Will you enjoy yourself if you do visit them? Absolutely, yes. Is it worth the money? Well...... The experience was good. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with selections. I was debating between a couple of the more expensive selections and he was honest and said that a third option (same cut) that was just the "normal" version was the one he would get. Sides are "shareable" sides, so just get a couple the table can agree on. Everyone doesn't need their own. Any hard alcohol beverage seems to be $20 minimum. Even shots. I had a "regular" ribeye, I requested rare. The seasoning was good when it came out, and to be fair the server asked how the temp on it was, and it was probably a medium. I said "fine". Yes, I should have probably sent it back for how much I was paying, and sitting here now outside of the vibe (wife's birthday and a few drinks) I wish I did. I did not get the extras on it, nor any sauces. For my tastes, the steak should sing on its own, not need a sauce. Wife got a baseball cut, she said it was good. Good temp for her. I don't remember if it was a less marbled piece of wagyu or if it was "normal" beef. One kiddo got a wagyu filet. She liked it. I was given a bite, the only "wagyu" I've had is ground and not worth it (why grind it for crying out loud?) honestly, I was underwhelmed. I hear how rich it is, how it melts in your mouth, etc, etc. Meh. It was tender, but it broke down in an almost grainy fashion. The well loved flavor was there, but was absolutely not worth the hype. (this was Australian A5 I believe they said? So not Japanese, but apparently the cows are the same genetic line or some such.) But daughter loved it, so whatevs! Both of the above ladies chose from the "Best Steak Anywhere" special menu they only offer in August. Other kiddo got the crab cakes--dinner portion. He thought they were OK. I don't think he got very much, so not sure if that was the dinner portion or not. If it was, I'd suggest skipping that. For sides we got the Szechuan Green Beans, the Roasted Jumbo Asparagus, and the Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes. The girls loved the green beans--the sweeter Asian flavor is not my thing, so take their word for it, not mine. The asparagus was absolutely nothing special. I'd skip it. Cooked well as far as not mushy, good firmness while still being cooked, etc--but no seasoning, so it was very boring. The potatoes were surprisingly tasteless as well. I was expecting strong smoke from bacon and gouda and saltiness, but it was just very bland. I had two beverages: The BLVD (2XO French Oak Bourbon, Carpano Antica Vermouth, Licor 43, & Campari), and a Gin Mortini. I requested my Mortini extra "filthy" (the word the menu said to use if you wanted it dirty), and I added the extra, but it wasn't extra. However, it was still good, and the hand stuffed blue cheese olives were awesome. The BLVD was good. Honestly, the bartender had a good hand, all of the flavors were noticeable without masking, it had that hint of sweet, but still bourbon-forward (which is exactly what I like). That was an excellent mix. I told the wife since it's her birthday, she wasn't on a drink limit (we usually just order one drink and then supplement ourselves with a flask when no one is looking--you ain't heard that from me, and yes, we Ubered). She started with a Lemon Drop and ended with a Espresso Martini, but I honestly don't remember what else she got. The sweetness of those two alone make me shudder, though! However, she loved them. For dessert, she got the chocolate "volcano" style cake, which she slide over to our son who destroyed it while she and the daughter ordered the Crème Brûlée, and I got the Espresso Pot De Crème. I sampled theirs and felt that it was pretty bland for that option, mostly "creme" but not very sweet, nor a strong vanilla flavor. My pot was great, sweet without being cloying, a good bitter note from the espresso, chocolate under there. I enjoyed it. To end the night, the wife and I each had a shot of tequila blanco. What did this birthday dinner cash out at? After taxes, a bit more than $520 (and the choco cake was complimentary) We enjoyed ourselves and it was for a birthday, so while I still feel it, it was OK. Would I consider it worth that under normal circumstances? No. If you take a group here for a special occasion, you will be treated wonderfully, though. read more

The sea bass, however, came with a sauce that was a bit too salty for my taste; I would have preferred to add it myself rather than have it poured by the waiter. Morton's is really not much different than any other high end steak house. Dark intimate seating, excellent food, terrific steaks, everything a la carte. Let's face it, what sets the experience apart, what makes or breaks the evening is the service. This night service was named Tanya! She was beyond exceptional. She took the time to go over the menu and answer questions, was attentive throughout the evening, refrigerated the birthday cake we took (from Freed's. Check out my review on their page!) and later presented the cake with candles so we could sing, served it for us and boxed up the leftovers for us to take home. I could see the bartender motion to the server and motioned back for her to grab my drink order. The rest of my party arrives and still we wait. Finally order and again we wait. Every step took longer than normal. Lobster bisque (nice size Lobster pieces) & crab cakes were delicious per usual. I recognize it was unusually busy but an extra hour to our time was a bit much. Food- Petit filet mignon and lobster with the Remy Martin Au Poivre butter was very good and interesting flavor; sides were plenty and very tasty. Just enough but it was petit. However, their appetizers were a meal itself and excellent. Desserts were plenty and decadent, especially the bread pudding and chocolate lava cake. From the moment that we walked in everyone at the front was so nice and the bartender that took our order was also very nice and helpful with recommendations. We ordered a 16 ounce ribeye, medium rare., loaded, baked potato, and an order of their jumbo asparagus. I forget if it was actually called jumbo asparagus, but it was jumbo! We had just finished a day of shopping so we picked this up and brought it home. I was kind of skeptical to see if the steak would really be medium, rare especially once we got home. To my surprise, it was perfect and delicious.! we got this sauce that has a lot of peppercorns in it and I forget the name of that as well, but it paired so perfectly with the steak! The loaded baked potato we cut in half and it was more than enough for us to share! The asparagus were cooked and grilled to perfection! This was such a nice meal because I really was just craving a good old steak and potato . I would highly recommend coming here, although I can only speak for the takeout. But the restaurant looks very nice and very moody and romantic.. might consider coming here and actually dining in one of these days. However, definitely ordering takeout regularly! In all for the steak, the loaded baked potato, the asparagus and the sauce we paid about $120, plus we tipped the bartender. We started with the shrimp Calabria that had a lobster cream sauce which was phenomenal followed by the surf and turf. What a great price for a 6 oz filet and 6 oz lobster tail! Anthony recommended the garlic butter and black truffle butter and they were perfect toppings. He was very attentive throughout our dinner and we didn't feel rushed. Thomas came by to check in with us a few times which was appreciated. We ended our meal with the hot chocolate cake and ice cream for the birthday celebrant and it was delicious with the crisp edges. I had the pleasure of dining out here yesterday on 03 August 2025.. Staff were pleasant upon my arrival!! The place was absolutely beautiful and I loved that it had a dark atmospheric vibe!! My only complaints are about the Food: I ordered a 'Medium Well' steak and it was far from Medium Well.. The more i kept cutting towards the center it was more of a 'Medium Steak'.. The Mac and Cheese, The Salmon, and the Shrimp all smelled 'Aged' and smelled like 'The Sea' basically. For the price of the food, the flavor should've been impeccable, but it was the opposite. It was disgusting. I would never eat there again.

Morton's was absolutely wonderful! The food quality is superb! Our server, Michael was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and perfect! He catered to our every request. He was great! Well, well, well. If you're dropping a pretty penny at an upscale steakhouse, the last thing you want is mediocre food at sky-high prices. Talk about a tough cut to swallow! While the dark ambiance and top-notch service may have set the stage for a luxurious dining experience, it's disappointing when the star of the show falls flat - in this case, the food. It's like going to see a blockbuster movie and realizing it's just one big snooze fest. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a cozy atmosphere and attentive servers as much as the next person, but when it comes down to crunch time (or should I say grill time), I expect nothing less than perfection on my plate. Here's hoping they turn up the heat in their kitchen before they hear a sizzling review from every dissatisfied customer in town! I started with the house Garlic bread which was fairly decent, but on the difficult side to cut. The $73 (22 oz) bone in ribeye was not bad yet nothing spectacular. It definitely needed the $6 garlic butter to be good. Side dishes such as wedge salad and fries are large in size but again only hits the "okay" meter. I feel for the price, i needed to be dazzled by taste a little more. First time here & I'll definitely be back. Our server Anthony was so nice & attentive! The restaurant lighting is low but didn't interfere with being able to read the menu so it was nice. The food & drinks were a 10/10. I'm more of a white sangria person but their red sangria was so good! We also had their non alcoholic Lavender Field & that was delicious. Gotta have the complimentary bread & butter. The beef wagyu dumplings are a must try, loved the chili sauce with it. The Chicken Christopher was a perfect pan fried, juicy, crisp cutlet with an amazing white wine sauce. Their proprietary Cajun ribeye was very flavorful! The sides were sides lol but also good. Hubby took me to Morton's for my birthday. We've been to many Morton's and we they did not disappoint. Atmosphere was romantic and classy. Food was delicious. I had a seasonal sangria which was tasty. Service was phenomenal. And for my birthday, they gave me a free chocolate cake which was delicious! Definitely recommend. read more

We came here on July 4th. We had reservations for 8pm and were seated promptly upon arrival. My boyfriend wanted to see the beer/liquor list and they initially could not find the list which was a bit odd and disappointing. When our server (Kevin) came to our table, we informed him about this and he apologized and then came back with the list. They had a special menu for July 4th, but we opted to order from the regular menu. We ordered the crab cake for our appetizer and it was delicious. The mustard-mayo sauce blended well with the crab cake. A little arugula salad on the side is a nice touch. I ordered the 7oz Wagyu filet and it was cooked as ordered (medium rare) and very tender. I loved it. Price is reasonable for a wagyu. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon (6oz) and lobster tail. The filet was also cooked an ordered (medium rare) and was tender. The lobster tail was of good size. He was happy with his meal. We ordered the loaded baked potato for our side - they asked us if we wanted it split before serving and we agreed. It was cooked right and with adequate toppings. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert - a little different from the usual (nothing bad about it, just different). Definitely for sharing. Kevin was nice, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, checked on us regularly, and provided great service. Ambiance - high end steakhouse vibe. The place is dim and I was surprised it was not crowded considering it was 4th of July. In a way it was good because we were able to enjoy a quiet dinner. They have their own parking lot.
