Food: I ordered the shrimp lobster linguine and my husband ordered the skirt steak. Let me tell you these portions are huge! The linguine is very creamy and loaded with shrimp! I had to take it home to go because even though my daughter and I shared it was still so much food. The skirt steak was medium rare and it as delicious. Very soft and juicy and the sauce on top was amazing. Service: the service was great. The server was very attentive my water was always full. Ambiance: it's a casual restaurant with medium noice level. It is kind of dark inside so it's tough to see the menu but overall it was great.

Girls' Night Out Vibes in Bahama Came here for a girls' night, and honestly, Bahama Breeze never disappoints when it comes to happy hour! I've been a few times and always suggest it because the deals are solid and the vibe feels like an instant mini-vacation. The interior has that tropical, island-y design that makes you feel like you should've worn flip flops instead of heels. Staff was super welcoming, and while the service flowed nicely, the A/C was working overtime -- giving a literal Bahama breeze . Note to self: bring a jacket next time. We kicked off with a table full of happy hour favorites: Jamaican wings, tuna stack, and the shrimp + crab dip. Everything came out at once, so our table instantly turned into a feast. The wings were my favorite -- flavorful, a little smoky, and perfect without any heavy sauce. The tuna stack was fresh and colorful, and the dip was creamy, rich, and definitely great to pair with the tropical mix drinks. One of our friends joined late and ordered the paella. It looked amazing, but when I tried it, it leaned way too salty for me and tasted more like jambalaya than paella. Just not my fave. Overall, great service, generous portions, and a perfect spot for happy hour when you want to feel like you're on vacation without leaving Renton. just don't forget a jacket if you're cold-sensitive -- the "breeze" is real.

A great spot near SEA TAC airport. It's a big space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating so we were able to get a good table. They have a tablet at each table which displays a digital menu but we could not figure out how to order with it, so we used it to call the server to place our orders the old fashioned way. I had the coconut shrimp entree with is served with yellow rice and broccoli. The coconut shrimp was a bit on the over fried side but the rice and broccoli were cooked perfectly. It was super nice that they gave a lot of shrimp. I enjoyed my hot honey mango margarita a lot. It was strong but had all the great sweet and spicy flavors Beware of the games on the tablet, they will charge you for playing the games, which we found out when we got our bill.

We went for afternoon happy hour and ordered the whole Jamaican jerk wings, 3 Bahama Mamas, and the 2 for $25 - Rasta Pasta and Coconut Shrimp Tacos. Everything was delicious and the portions were great. We enjoyed our time there and just learned that they're closing soon

We went to this place for my birthday. I haven't been here in YEAAARRSSS! The environment was very welcoming & we got seated quick even w/ a reservation. Our server was AMAZING! She made sure everything went smooth & everyone was satisfied with their order. I wish I could've gotten her name because she needs a raise for being an excellent host and person. She checked up on us ALL THE TIME! 5 stars for the server. Giving it a 4 star because of happy hour. I wish they had it at an earlier time too instead of just at night Picture is the tequila flight & an ultimate pineapple!

Cozy, spacious for family with children or special events. Their menu has great options for non alcohol drink for those can't take alcohol. The portions are shareable, the steak salad was cooked just right, jerk chickens wings were flavorful. My kid loved his delicious, generous portion chicken strips. Service was fast and efficient. Definitely coming back.

I have been meaning to visit Bahama Breeze since FOREVER after moving to Seattle years ago, and I finally got the chance to check it out recently. My friends and I wanted to find a place to catch up that's somewhere in between where we all live and just happened to end up going here. I ordered the Margarita Flight which had the Classic, Dragon Fruit, and Cocorita. Out of the three, a Classic Margarita can never do you wrong. The Dragon Fruit was pretty good too, on the sweeter side for sure. Not the biggest fan of Cocorita but still can be enjoyable. Did not get a chance to try the food, but will definitely come back again soon!

Came here on my birthday last Saturday as I really wanted to get the new Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake for my free birthday dessert. My mom and I weren't too hungry though but we needed to one adult entree to get it so we decided to share a two coconut shrimp taco and upgraded from a cup to bowl for a $1 more of their Bahamian Seafood Chowder. Our waiter Levi was very courteous and had a great sense of humor that he not only brought to us but to his other tables as well. The sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp was such a fantastic pair to the taco. The soup was very good too, with plenty of little shrimps and clams. It also came with oyster crackers which are my preferred toppings on soups. Once Levi saw we were done, he asked if it would be a good time to bring out dessert and we let him know that we were ready! He politely let us know that we could move the spoons away as the fire does make it hot but we said it was alright. The cake was the perfect amount of sweetness and I enjoyed the little fire show that comes with it. It has been years since my mom and I visited Bahama Breeze but re-visiting it was memorable and we were happy to know the food and service here is still stellar. There was live music playing in their other dining section, which was nice as they have soundproof walls so the rest of restaurant didn't have to listen so I thought that was neat. They even had two large fire places inside so made for a cool dining space. Also just an additional tip: I used a gift card here and it turns out you can use it to tip as well, as I know other businesses will allow it or sometimes not so heads up to those with gift cards!

One of our go to places that is close to home and that we know we will enjoy! I've tried several items on their menu, but what I usually enjoy is their empanadas, habanero chicken wings and the skillet simmered jerk shrimp; however my absolute favorite item here is their Jamaican spicy sauce! It is spicy and just makes everything taste that much better. We usually sit at the bar area and the bartenders are all nice and friendly.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. I wish this place wasn't closing in April! It's been a good spot for dates, happy hours and just a regular meal and been a fun spot for the past 2 decades or so. We went here on Valentine's of all days and so many others had the same idea. We made a reservation for 6:15PM. The waiting area was packed, but the hostesses were all friendly and calm, given how crowded it was. We were seated around 6:40PM. We were seated in the bar/cabana side and to our surprise there was live music, a gentleman playing the steel drum. Our server was friendly and up beat. She did warn us the kitchen was a little backed up. So we quickly ordered, drinks, apps and mains. I ordered the infamous Bahamarita and my partner got King Carnival. We ordered Beef Empanadas and Jerk Chicken Wings. Drinks and apps came out quickly within 10 mins of ordering. The Bahamarita was delish, but so sugary so I only ordered one. The Empanadas and Wings were goood as always, these are the 2 items I always love getting from here. The live music was a special treat, but the musician mentioned it was his last show, such a bummer bc it was a fun added touch to the environment. We both ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta and it took a while to come out, maybe 40 mins after our apps. It's my go-to dish at Bahama Breeze and not sure if it was an off night or they changed the recipe but it wasn't very good in my opinion. It was lacking in sauce and was rather dry and the flavor and spiciness was off as well. The chicken portion seemed smaller (than from a couple years ago) and there was what seemed like a larger amount of asparagus (but I do like asparagus). Thank you to all the workers at Bahama Breeze, all in all I will miss it! And pay them a visit before they close in April!

It was alright. Service - We were seated at their "outdoor" sunroom type area. It had a very casual vibe when compared to the main restaurant area. There were heaters out there, so it was very warm. We asked to move due to the heat and were moved 2 tables down. There was live music in the area we were at. Food - I got the Tito's Beachside Strawberry Breeze. Tasted just like I expected from the description. For an appetizer, we shared the coconut shrimp. The shrimp was plump and it had a great crunch. For my dinner, I ordered the Jamaican Jerk chicken which came with some kind of sweet sauce, rice, black beans, and plantain. When I got my entree, it was warm and the chicken was tough. It was tough to the point I could not cut through the meat with a knife. The server was generous and had the kitchen remake the entree without me asking. When the new dish came out, it was piping hot and the chicken was juicy. It was a decent meal.

Absolutely love this place and each time I go, the service, the food, the drinks, the ambiance, they are all top notch and will be missed. Thank you to the staff at this location for always making me feel welcome. 10/10

It was literally a last minute dinner reservation on a Thanksgiving night. The place was closing in an hour and they took us in. The restaurant was bustling with families enjoying their dinner and drinks. I believe this is the only restaurant open at this shopping center. Our service was fast, fun and friendly. None of the staff seemed stressed or upset. They were all in a happy mood and smiling. We were looking at the regular menu but decided to take the offer of tonite's special, the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner. I'm glad we decided on that because it was probably the best we've had. I needed a drink and decided the Bruno smash hit. It was STRONG and I LOVED it. Exactly what I needed. Thank you for a great night.

The lobster was unfortunately an overcooked, but everything else in the boil was so good that it made up for it. Speaking of the sauce -- it was SO good. We got to choose our sauce and spice level, and it had the perfect balance of flavor, spice, and heat without overpowering the seafood. It complemented everything really well. We also ordered the calamari. It was crispy, but the batter was a bit heavy and could've used more seasoning. Service was great -- our server was kind, attentive, and checked in on us regularly without being intrusive. They also offer combo meals, which I thought were a great value for the amount of seafood you get. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. If you're craving a seafood boil with customizable spice and solid portions, this spot is worth it!

This was, by far, the worst dining experience I've ever had…read more The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the popcorn crawfish appetizer with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill. I ordered a seafood boil with Manila clams and shrimp, and both were undercooked. The shrimp had that soft, mushy, almost translucent texture instead of being firm with the slight snap that properly cooked shrimp should have. Every bite was unpleasant, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The Manila clams were even worse. They were covered in a slimy coating that made them feel unappetizing the moment I picked them up. The texture alone was enough to make me stop eating them, but the taste was just as bad. Instead of tasting fresh, sweet, and briny, they had an unpleasant flavor that made me question whether they had been prepared properly. I couldn't finish them. To make matters worse, there were gnats flying around our booth throughout the entire meal, especially all along the booth panels where my cousin and I were sitting. It made the restaurant feel unclean and completely took away from the dining experience. When we brought the undercooked seafood to the manager's attention, we were given two options: they could take the food back and "put it back in the water" to cook it longer, or we could take it home and cook it ourselves in exchange for a discount. Since we had already started eating and didn't feel comfortable having our meal simply thrown back into the pot, we chose to take it home and finish cooking it ourselves. The "discount" ended up being just $10.99. For a meal that wasn't properly cooked and that I literally had to finish cooking at home, that resolution felt completely inadequate. I paid to dine at a restaurant, not to go home and prepare my own meal. On top of the food quality issues, the customer service was disappointing. There was very little effort to make the situation right, and the way the complaint was handled felt dismissive. I usually drive an hour to Captain Crab because I've always had consistently great experiences there. I decided to try somewhere different this time, and it was a mistake. This experience reminded me why I don't mind making the drive. I won't be returning.

The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made an otherwise difficult day a little easier. Great service can make a real difference, and she absolutely delivered. Rich, loaded with clams, easily the best thing on the table. Fries were also solid. The halibut fish & chips ($46 for three pieces) was the letdown. The fish was over-fried to the point that it fell apart as I ate it -- disappointing for a fish of that quality at that price. Halibut should hold together in firm, flaky pieces; this didn't. But the real issue was the service. What made it impossible to write off as a busy day was that my server was attentive to the table right next to me -- she asked the gentleman beside me how his meal was and refilled his water, while mine sat clearly empty and I was never checked on once. No introduction, no recommendations, no plates cleared. When I asked for something as simple as pepper, I got attitude, like I was putting her out. I typically tip 25%. I left 15% and honestly felt that was generous for what I received. At these prices, the food needs to be executed properly and the service needs to match. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

My husband and I were visiting the Burien Farmer's Market and decided to stop in for lunch here. The day before our area experienced a heat wave. Apparently this effected this place of business. There were fans going everywhere, no a/c in place; I was hesitant to enter and I should have gone with my instincts. It wasn't awful so that we couldn't stand it, so we stayed. We had a very friendly waitress, wish I could remember her name but she was very good. I ordered a peach tea and my husband ordered a cider, I believe it was pineapple and another fruit based. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this. This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.

Produce is out of this world with variety. Dry goods, deli made, made to order! They even have a sit-down restaurant with authentic menu items. The most surprising was the Philippine Airlines booth. You can stock up on groceries and book a ticket to Manila. We are from out of town so a cooler to keep frozen items is a must! We will be using three coolers one for produce, one for frozen items, and one for bakery or hot items. Service is a bit slow. Crowds are overpoweringly large. Lines are long. Expect grumpy customers and employees which we have encountered almost every time. If you want ethnicity, food variety, people watching, delicious treats, it's all here.

Some items are priced better than 99 Ranch. You really have to be selective about what you shop if you are price conscious. Canola and corn oil can be almost twice as much as Safeway or QFC. They definitely specialize in Filipino goods, so you won't a lot of items you might find at 99 Ranch, Uwajimaya or Asian Family Market. The other day, I was about to buy some raw chicken wings tray packed poultry section. The package didn't feel as cold as it should have. I looked at the temp gauge above the product, the cooler was malfunctioning and at too high a temperature, 58F I told a manager and she just said yeah, they know. A technician is coming "later". Meanwhile product was still sitting on those refrigerated shelves. They should've pulled everything out of that refrigerated section until it was fixed. That was a bummer, but I still come here for the cheap eggs and last minute items that I don't want to make a longer trip for. Cashiers are always super friendly. I'm always an advocate for coming during off-peak hours. Better parking and it's not combat in the aisles. But it's worth coming during a weekend rush, just for the experience. But do it only once.
