My elementary school years I experimented with many different root beers. My favorite was Hires Root Beer. In my college years Hires disappeared from California. I could get it for a few more years in Yuma then it disappeared from Arizona as well. I was surprised to see it on the menu at Bahama Bucks. I ordered my favorite childhood drink. It was sweet and had that unique root beer flavor I love. Great drink. Another visit I tried a root beer and lychee shaved ice. I notice they have a classic Hawaiian shave ice machine which uses a big ice block to create the fluffiest ice I've eaten. Lychee flavor was a bit sour and didn't taste like lychee. I wouldn't get that flavor again. Root beer was sweet and had delicious root beer flavor. I'd get it again. The ice here is of the finest quality. The syrup is a bit hit or miss. Wish they had taster flights so I could sample the various syrups. Next time I visit Arizona I'll have to return to Bahama Bucks and get another Hires Root Beer.

I came in yesterday with my large family. There were 14 of us total and we all got something. The two girls who working, Kenzie and Olivia, were the sweetest girls! Kenzie took our big order and was so patient with grabbing all our samples and being patient with our little kids who were running around. All the shaved ice were made to perfection and so fast! Just the right amount of syrup and they were so cute with the little umbrellas. I would highly recommend coming to Bahama Bucks it's such a nice family friendly shop great for a summer treat. read more

I went to Bahama bucks on Wednesday with a couple of my friends. It was right after school so there were a lot of teens in there, but we got our order taken and shaved ice handed to us in less than 5 minutes! It tasted great and we will be going back for more. Great service. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the product always received at Bahama Bucks! Every time we go, our service is amazing, the staff is friendly and has great suggestions, and never leads us astray! I used always get the same fruit flavor with cream, until I was introduced to the Horchata flavor, with cream and cinnamon sugar topping! This flavor hits every taste bud! The staff is always smiling and having fun, while providing great customer service... Management must be doing something right, it is hard to find good help now-a-days, but they have done a great job, especially since the staff there is on the younger side! Keep up the great work Bahama Bucks Team!!! read more

A fun place to grab a cool treat and a fun beach environment. Great for kids and tons of flavors to choose from. Be sure to get a loyalty punch card if you end up loving it as much as I do. Mmmmm... I'm craving a strawberry colada and toasted coconut shaved ice just thinking about it, and don't forget the creme! read more

The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!
