There's a reason the line is out the door at this place..... It's good! The shaved ice is so light and fluffy just like I had in Hawaii. The baby size is plenty big enough after they pack all the ice in the cup. I really like the frozen coffee drinks too. The staff is friendly and there's a lot of them which makes the line move fast. The place itself wasn't the cleanest but I wonder if it was just because it was so busy. It'll be interesting to see if it's cleaner next time I visit. read more

This location is by far underwhelming compared to Temecula, which is outstanding and makes you at least feel you're getting somewhat of a value. Bahama Bucks is not a cheap treat. I am rating their customer service. I am furious, because I ordered a simple small shave ice watermelon and cherry with vanilla ice cream with this girl name Jessica A. She was rude and not welcoming. So, 4 orders went past by me and I go up to the register with my receipt. I was patient and waited again for them to re-due my order and guess what? They couldn't get it right! I was so upset, at that point I just wanted a refund. Then probably the manger, shift leader or whatever in charge named America helps me with my refund and I was kind, waited long enough for an order that took 30 minutes.. As a previous shift leader, I was have apologize, given a refund, and the shaved ice I order but out of all those things I only got a refund. Was in the area and had just ate at the Habit and wanted some dessert. So glad I stopped by. They have over sixty syrups to choose from and they also carry many sugar free syrups as well. They have five sizes to choose from: baby 8oz, small 12oz, regular 16oz, large 20oz, and avalanche 32oz. You can choose up to three syrups no matter what size you get. I went with the baby and it was filling since they pile the ice high. They have shakers as a free add-on. The shakers they have are party (rainbow) sprinkles, princess (pink) sprinkles, cinnamon sugar, sour sand, and chili salt. They also have other add-ons for extra charge. The bahama rama mama is adding ice cream of your choice (vanilla, no sugar vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) along with tropic creme. They also have condensed milk, sour patch sauce, li hing mui powder (tropical plum powder), chamoy, jolly ranchers sprinkles, and piccadilly (chili salt, chamoy, chopped pickles, & sour sand). I went ahead and got the bahama rama mama with passion fruit, mango, vanilla ice cream, tropic creme, & party sprinkles. It was so good and flavorful! They have a punch card and if it's 60 degrees or colder, you get double punches which is what I got. They also gave me a bunch of coupons for next time. Having tried shaved ice in the past and traveling over half an hour away, I was really excited to find out there was a new local shaved ice spot nearby. However, I was pretty disappointed with what I received. First, let me just say that this review is for my order of the sugar free shaved ice with grape, Jamaican punch, and watermelon syrups. Perhaps it wasn't such a great idea to choose sugar free in the first place but I did and quickly regretted it. I'm hoping the off taste was due to the sugar substitute because it wasn't very pleasant. It actually tasted a lot sweeter for it being sugar free, but an off sweet taste. The quality of ice reminded me of a slightly softer snow cone. When I think of shaved ice, I imagine the powdery snow that I've had at various places in Rowland Heights. One that is so soft and finely grated that it can almost pass as a soft served ice cream. However, this place being a beach themed shaved ice spot, I shouldn't have expected much. A couple things I did appreciate were the color changing spoons and the size of the cups. I ordered the "baby" size ( less than $4) and was quite pleased with it. I'll definitely give this place another shot because I saw a lady order a watermelon cup and they rimmed it with chile powder, something that really appealed to me. I've been to A LOT of shaved ice places.... I tried this place in Texas actually, and came to find out they had a location here in Cali. It literally takes me almost an hour and a half to get here, but I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've tried a ton of flavors and they're all very delicious, but I always go back to Watermelon with vanilla ice cream! I usually bring the kids when we just wanna get out and go for a drive! Excellent summer treat with decent prices. Yesterday was my first time going. The cashier said it was his first day and he was very nice. He let me try a few different flavors. You can get up to 3 flavors on your shaved ice. I got mango, watermelon, and Jamaican rum. They were all very tasty. Parking was crazy but we got something. I liked the high chairs for customers to sit in. There wasn't too much room inside to sit but we were lucky. I was there today for the first time and when I walked in It wasn't busy so I stood in line. I was well within their 10 people inside limit and was patiently waiting when a huge group came in behind me and stood around us trying to fit in. For absolutely no reason one of the workers stared me down and yelled for me to go form a line outside because there was too many people inside. I was confused because I had been there and I felt like she should have asked the woman and her party behind me to go outside. When I tried to explain that I was already there and within the 10 people limit she yelled at me again and pointed her finger to go outside before she disrespectfully walked away. I have never been treated like that at any establishment and If I hadn't been there celebrating an important occasion with family I would have walked out.
