Bahama Bucks, the last of its name in Southern California, is, on my opinion, the best shaved ice place. Period. Been to multiple locations on Oahu and Maui as well, and I'll still take Bahama Bucks. What makes it so different? It's the shaved ice itself. It's just different, once the tutoring touches it, the texture changes to this smooth, almost creamy, texture, yet still shaved ice. And with a plethora of flavorings, and the it's I've tried (Cherry, Strawberry, Mango, Pink Lemonade, Tigers Blood), it just transforms into this luscious dessert. There are also around five different sizes you can get. The small is a good size for I've person, though the regular will be here if you're hungry. Bigger than that and it is made for two people. My husband and I came in on a very hot day in the IE! I ordered the Dreamsicle Delight (orange cream flavor with vanilla ice cream included) - it was good and refreshing but will be trying other flavors next time. My husband ordered the Sour Patch Kids Blue Raspberry - and WHOOooAa was this SOUR to Me, my tolerance for sour is very low....I think what made it truly sour was the red sauce they pour ontop but the blue raspberry ice itself was not- so if you Love Sour I recommend this!! We have been coming to Bahamas bucks for atleast 10 years and we still love it !! We have been to this location , the old Huntington Beach store that sadly closed (it was close to us ) and we even have been to the Vegas location . All of them have the same great quality and taste Anything were close by we make the detour to come here . It works out that this one is in a great location with tons of restaurants and shops. The service is always great and fast . Never had a complaint at any of the locations . The only downside to this location is that it's less than welcoming inside . They took out all the chairs . Other locations have games for kids to play or dress stuff , photo op areas and a restroom for customers . This one is just to pick up and leave . read more

FIRST TIMER. I have been wanting to try this place because I have been hearing about it and how much people love it. I placed an order through yelp/grubhub for a 12 oz Small Sno Pina colada with sno pops and tropic crème flat top. It was $11.17 + taxes it equaled to $12.04. The workers were great! No complaints. They had my order ready and I was on my way out within a few minutes of walking in. There was only one customer before me. I like their decor inside too ! The drink itself......WOOWWWWWWWW! It was so delicious, super refreshing on this hot day, and also very nostalgic! I loved the pop rocks addition. Although their menu can be a bit overwhelming, it is definitely something worth willing to tackle. I cannot wait to come back and try some more of their treat! The best shaved ice that I've ever had. The ice here is so fine and smooth, it's almost like eating soft serve. It's so much better than the typical crushed ice snow cone. I'm so I can't comment on food obviously because there is no food. Lol but all they're other stuff is good. I honestly just go for the shaved ice and the fact you can pay just to get ice is awesome. I prefer this because it keeps me hydrated very well, and I'm anemic so eating ice is a bad habit of mine, but chewing on this ice isn't bad at all. All they're flavors are good, if I will mention one thing is that sometimes some of the flavors like the sugar free cherry melt the ice to fast to it's super concentrated toward the bottom if you drink it through a straw. I just happened to be in the area for some retail Therapy. And saw this gem in passing so I said why not on this hot day. I have never been anywhere that is like Bahamas bucks or even tried shaved iced at the fair. So I was impressed because it was all new to me and the ice is so soft. The ice they use is so light and fluffy and I like the variety of sizes. I'm not in this area often but I would come back again definitely. Great place for the kids or family plus I would say it's pretty lactose friendly since most if not all the items are made of just ice and flavors. The customer service was solid nothing to crazy to mention but considering it's a Sunday they are fast. It's a great spot and many fun menu items. Stopped by for the first time in years, and it was a nostalgic visit as I used to work here when the shop first opened. It was cool to see the familiar shop and see that the menu has expanded, from the sno flavors and toppings, to the smoothies and the red bull infusions etc. I got my cousins a couple of snos, and they enjoyed their flavor choices (the birthday cake and the warheads). They did note that the sno was a grainer texture (which made the heads oddly shaped and messy), that they were very juicy in certain spots where flavor was over-poured, and that there was plain sno in other spots. Aside from the sno quality, our visit was nice. The girl at register overhead us talking about how I used to work here and she offered me a discount when we paid, which I appreciated. I looooooove Bahama bucks so much! I first tried it in Orange County but now that location is gone :( So I had to bust a mission and drive all the way to Redlands. And it's just as good as ever :) I wish there was a closer one to me but I guess I'll have to drive here whenever I can. The "baby" version is usually my go to. It's A LOT. I love getting the baby Bahama Rama mama with their coke flavored shaved ice. It tastes like a brown cow which is my favorite :) The ice is always so finely shaved, that it tastes so refreshing.
