I am really sad about the outcome of my hair. I was growing out previous color so that I could get a balayage by Grecia. Her work on Instagram is amazing and I know she has lots of regulars. My appt. was for a full balayage and haircut. The haircut was great but unfortunately not the "full balayage". I had booked a full balayage but instead got streaky highlights as you can see in the picture. I felt like the service was rushed and I understand I have a lot of hair. I just wish that Grecia would of been honest and communicated with me what she could and could not do with my hair in the time alloted for the service. I would have appreciated honesty vs. what I got. A rushed service using foils instead of a traditional balayage. All her other clients are very lucky to get the best work from her but I am a newer client I guess I don't matter as much.

I have been going to Bahtoh for years to get my hair done and hired them to do the flowers at my wedding. "WOW" doesn't begin to describe what an amazing job they did start to finish. They went above and beyond and the flowers were truly the star of the show. I received so many compliments after the wedding about the flowers. Not only did they do the flowers, but Bobbie did my hair. Very thankful for their amazing work!

Bahtoh exceeded all of my expectations! The environment they've created (crisp white, gorgeous plants, luxurious yet simple design, somehow perfect soundtrack playing at just the right volume) immediately made me feel relaxed and well taken care of. I got a full balayage from Jaenelle which looks amazing! I wish I had a before and after because she took my average hair to a level it's never seen before. The products she used left my hair so soft and smelled so good that my time at Bahtoh felt like a spa experience. I've been to another salon in Seattle that was trendy and made me feel not cool enough and I feared that with trying somewhere new. That is not the case with Bahtoh! I felt comfortable from the start and so relaxed. I am so glad a friend recommended Bahtoh because it was honestly a perfect experience!

So I've been really busy with life and took a huge hiatus from my review writing for yelp... but am very glad to be the first yelp reviewer for this new business in town, BAHTOH. This cute shop just officially opened last week right in the heart of the International District. The shop is a combination of a hair salon and floral shop. They also do special events design, floral and bridal hair. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing work that they do. I LOVED the arrangement Bobbie made for me for my office. It was just beautiful. (See my pic attached) I also got a hair cut & color correction - and I couldn't be happier. Seriously, Bobbie listened to my needs and what I was going for, and really nailed it. Their business phone should be up and running soon as well. I swung by on a whim to set an appointment and I was luckily enough to get squeezed in on the same day. I hate to share the goods, but this place is truly a gem to be added to the ID community and Seattle. Check out their site for more information! Seriously.. AMAZING..

Bahtoh is the place for all things beautiful! From flowers to hair and even help with event planning/decorations Bobbie and Michael are my go-to guys. Bahtoh did my wedding flowers and decorations and Bobbie even had time to do my hair. We were living across the country and he was able to match my hair extension to my hair color perfectly! I've also ordered flowers from them numerous times for many different occasions and every time they exceed my expectations even when I have last minute request or have no idea what I want. They are always so accommodating and creative. But more than anything they are both such warm and loving people that really care about their clients.

Although I hate having to write a poor review for a new business, my girlfriend and I were just not impressed with our recent floral purchases. Back in the beginning of May (May 3rd, to be exact), Bahtoh posted a photo of a flower arrangement on their Instagram, which my girlfriend instantly loved. She messaged them with that photo attached, asking if she could get that same arrangement done for Mother's Day. They advised her this could be done and everything except one of the flowers shown in front would be in the arrangement and it would be $65. The arrangement was huge in the photo they uploaded, so this seemed like a reasonable price. They said to either call or come in to have this arrangement booked for Mother's Day, so we went in a couple days later. When we first walked in, my girlfriend mentioned she messaged them on Instagram and right away they knew who she was, so that was cool. We decided on a second arrangement to get someone else and asked for just a small arrangement that could be placed on a dinner table (we didn't want it as big as the other one we were ordering). Michael (?) then told us it would be $45 for the order we discussed on Instagram (different than what was previously told) and $25 for the smaller arrangement. He said we could pay the day of pick up (the evening before Mother's Day) and took down my girlfriends phone number to call her when the order was ready. The day we were supposed to pick up the flowers, we didn't receive a text or call to say they were ready. Not that it mattered, I guess, but they took our number down for that reason. When we got there, that's when the confusion and disappointment took place. My girlfriend uploaded the flower pictures onto here from her account, so I won't do it again, but if you look, they are both very similar in size. The size is definitely not the same as what is shown on Instagram, which we requested. At the shop, we were told $45 for the recreation of the Instagram arrangement and $25 for the smaller arrangement. The day of pickup, we paid $119 - $45 and $65, plus tax. This was once again, completely different than what we were told. Honestly, I would not have written this review and just said, "Whatever, we got two nice arrangements and we just paid a little extra." But the "bigger" arrangement started to go brown on Tuesday and we have flowers from Safeway from over 3 weeks ago that are doing better than the arrangements from Bahtoh. After 3 days, they should not be turning brown and limping over, as if they're going to die tomorrow. For the price we paid, I expected better quality, so that was the bummer. I advised my girlfriend not to go back. It wasn't a good first experience.

I wanted a wrapped bouquet for a friends party and originally went to Seattle Flowers to get it since it is close to my office in downtown Seattle and Young Flowers is just a little too far away these days. They did something soooooo weird and inappropriate so I, at the last minute, went to Bahtoh to get a new arrangement and I'm so glad I did! They created a beautiful, unique, and special wrapped bouquet for me within 15 mins AND gave me some rośe to calm my nerves. Beautiful space, too! I will be using them from now on!! Thanks, guys!!
