Two stars because something was delivered, but it bore little resemblance to the description and photo online. Friends thought it was a very paltry and unattractive arrangement, which was supposed to come as described, living plants in a basket with a handle, but instead came in an ugly dish. I could have stopped payment, but I felt, as a family business, with supposed integrity, they would acknowledge the errors. When I contacted them about the many differences between what was ordered versus what was delivered, they said basically I had ordered too late in the week to get the arrangement I had ordered. Their site only warns: "If placing an order for same day delivery, please know the order will be filled as close as possible based on flower availability that day." (I did not order same day delivery. ) Giving me no choice in the matter, they had failed to substitute comparable flowers and plants and never could explain the alternate container. Their response was quite dismissive - and I see from the reviews this is a regular event for them. When I came back saying I expected to share my experience online, they gave me a $15 refund on a $108 bill. Just...find a reliable florist. Friends, who called the arrangement a scam, a shabby match, and a sad sack set of flowers, recommended La Vassar Florist and Ballard Blossom. I myself have used Stadium for deliveries and never experienced this. So there are better options. read more

Ordered a flower arrangement for pickup at the Wallingford location for Valentine's and they were prepared at the wrong store. After confirming that I did indeed place the order for the correct location for pickup, I was instead given a hastily prepared replacement arrangement that did not include the same amount, color, or quality of flowers as the original order. When contacted afterwards, the store refused any compensation for causing delays in pickup and giving me an arrangement that was not what I ordered, and definitely not worth what I paid. read more

Stopped on way to party. Needless to say, seriously disappointed as I confirmed they knew U of W colors. I mean - it's Seattle Florist in the area - how could they not. It's graduation week. The detractors have some legit arguments, but as a neighborhood flower stand for everyday make-your-gal-smile purchases (...you DO do those, right? You don't? Oh...) this place shines! For around $20, you can get a little bud vase arrangement or a potted flower that makes your sweetie make that "Aww!" noise we guys crave so much. They'll take the time despite cranking a ponderous mass of FTD orders out of their tiny shop to help you on your little mission of happiness. Nice folks, good product, good price. If you're an actual romantic in deed, not just word, little places like this are priceless resources. This is a great neighborhood vendor of plants, petals, and particulars for the amorous, frivolous and sympathetic! Don't believe the "Hey! My cookie-cutter FTD arrangement with generic Hallmark card was five minutes late!" crowd. Those folks just make vague gestures from a distance. Instead, be THAT guy: show up in person with one of their little custom arrangements in your hand and an adoring smile on your silly face, and see what these shops are REALLY for. I just received a bouquet for my birthday from Hansen's florist. Let me start by saying this was the ugliest bouquet I have EVER gotten! The bouquet is not symmetrical, they used a stem with a bunch of baby pink roses instead of single stem roses. They put three stems of baby pink roses just shoved in the vase different amounts of roses per stem. The roses are all curled and brown. The greenery looks to be shoved in the as an after thought. The yellow lillies were broken and falling off. I have looked at their web site and the pictures are not anything like what they deliver. My bouquet was lower quality that something you would get at the grocery store that had been sitting in the case for over two weeks. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else to get your flowers! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the staff, the service, and most importantly the products! I frequent both locations in the downtown area as well as the Wallingford location located in the north area on Stoneway. Quality flowers and plants alike! I typically buy bouquets to spruce up my home which usually stay fresh for two weeks or more! What's more, this is a family owned business that's puts time, care and attention into their service and products! Additionally, I inquired about a plant not usually in the store and the owner personally found it and I was to pick it up almost immediately! Terrible experience. Bought a groupon type deal here $25 for $50 and I would never go back here. The owner threatened to not honor the coupon during mothers day week, even though that was not written anywhere on the website or coupon. After agreeing, she would not accept the value of the coupon for delivery of the flowers, only the arrangement. The flowers arrived and for $50, there was a VERY small bouquet. I've ordered slews of bouquets online from various florists and I've never been disappointed, except for the one time I try these guys. I got the "luxury upgrade" for $55.00 ($75.00 in total), which clearly isn't exorbitant by any means, but the bouquet looked like utter shit. The owner explained that it looked sparse because the lilies aren't quite opened up (YES, I know lilies take a beat to open), but the overall look was awful. It was a huge bushel of baby's breath and leaves, plus 4 hot pink roses when it was shown with light pink. It looked nothing like the photo, needless to say. When I explained this all to the owner, they told me that the recipient should come in, or they can go and pick it up and give her a replacement -- that's their policy. WTF?? Let me send my sister to replace her birthday bouquet, or arrange for her to be home.... Clearly just a BS policy to make trouble for the customer so they won't follow through. So unprofessional, just send a bouquet that doesn't look it was made during amateur hour, because this one quite literally looks like a child made it. I fully echo what Shanna M. below had to say.
