Extremely high quality ingredients in a cute wellness cafe setting. The staff is allergy aware and friendly. Many gluten free options as well as vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, grain free, and paleo friendly. Everything we tried was delicious.

Inconsistent serving sizes and flavor. Very expensive. Feels like a medical waiting room where you eat.

My biggest wish is that the menu changed up a bit more. Every time I go, it feels very similar, and I often find myself struggling to find something that truly stands out or excites me. The food is good, just not particularly memorable. That said, the service is consistently good and it's still a nice place to meet up or go for a casual night out. I'd love to see some fresher or more creative menu rotations in the future because the setting definitely deserves it.

And if it has premium beef and isn't yet another smashburger (I like them, but enough already), best scenario yet. Forge & Vine Cheeseburger: The burger here was fantastic. Most importantly, the beef brought flavor-- very enjoyable. Crusting was solid, though there could have been a bit more-- and perhaps a bit more seasoning. But no issues with the flavor, and the interior was a perfect medium rare with juices aplenty. The challah-like bun-- with appropriate size, volume, and density-- also brought some flavor: a pleasant slight sweetness. Cheese got the right melt, tomatoes were very fresh, and the other ingredients all worked in harmony. Tallow Fries: Included with the cheeseburger, these had both crispness and give, with a moist, fatty lubricant to aid the texture and flavor. Salting was on point. And plenty of them. All this for $24 might seem steep, but in today's economy, where it'll run you nearly $20 for a burger and fries at Five Guys, I'm all for paying a few extra bucks for the extra quality. And the space itself is pretty impressive too, from the high ceilings to the wood to the open kitchen to the view of farmland out back. Service was good too: efficient and friendly. Planning to return to try other items and post another review.

Beer selections are minimal but just varied enough that you'll find something to your liking, whether mainstream or craft. The food menu is much deeper, nailing most of the pub food classics. As a burgers and wings guy, that was my focus, but there's enough greenery to satisfy my vegetarian wife too. GPH Burger: A well sourced blend, made into a patty of good thickness, grilled over an open flame, and housed in a potato bun with a generous allotment of toppings. Beautiful presentation, and most importantly, the flavor of the beef came through, never getting lost. You can order pink or no pink; I went pink, and on my first visit they nailed the temperature, color, and juiciness to go along with the crusty exterior. Good seasoning, and very enjoyable grill flavor. One of the best burgers I've had this year. Tried it again on a second visit, again requesting pink, but: a) not pink or juicy, and b) no flame grill flavor. Still a decent burger-- mostly because the addition of some nicely chewy and very strongly cured bacon picked up some of the slack. Third try, a repeat of the first, so two out of three ain't bad. Smashburger: Solid enough, though not as pronounced of surface crispness as a proper smashburger. Fries: Hand-cut, plentiful, dark, crispy, and just droopy enough. There's no salt on the table, but these were salted perfectly. Ketchup is an off brand, with a little more tartness than the standard, but it worked fine. Onion Rings: The thick ring, thick batter kind, and very crunchy. All depends on whether you like that style. Hot Dog: The menu lists them with fries included, but if you're already getting a burger, you can add one on without getting the extra fries. Toasted New England flat-sided bun, very juicy, grilled wiener, and toppings you can choose. Chili is a $3 add-on, but note there are beans included. I enjoyed mine and would get it again without the chili. Wings: Went Buffalo once, somewhat crisp, somewhat tender, nice sauce, with spices and seasonings, but not what I'd call Buffalo and not much coverage. These are baked, then fried, so missing a little something.went sweet chili on the next visit, and these were closer to the listed flavor and a little closer to wings that quench a wings craving.
