After reviewing my scans, which showed almost no sinus opening, they recommended a balloon sinuplasty to help improve my drainage. The process was seamless from start to finish. Scheduling the procedure was incredibly easy and on the day of the appointment, everything went as smoothly as possible. Both the front office staff and Dr. Furze were very thorough. Since having the procedure done, I haven't had a single sinus issue. If you are struggling with ongoing sinus or allergy problems, this is definitely the place to go!

Although I wasn't able to book a consultation with that doctor, the Hoag website advertised Dr. Furze, and the rest was history. I'm incredibly grateful for him and his team, shoutout to Claudine, because they made the whole process seamless. Claudine, his PA, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They examined me and let me know what the issue was and how they would differ from my last surgery in an attempt to fix it. It's been 5 months since my surgery and I'm breathing great. I do appreciate they did a mini nose job, because I explained to them that if i positioned my nose a certain way, it opened up my nasal passage. Anyway, I would recommend his practice to anyone. At least for me, the main thing I look for in a medical practice is their ability to relate to a patient or make a patient feel comfortable, and everyone on his staff is super affable.

I was repeatedly billed for charges my insurance had already paid, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, they sent me to collections anyway. I ultimately had to insist they contact the billing/credit department themselves to fix their own mistakes. Over the years, scheduling was always difficult. After being away for about three years, I began having serious health concerns, I tried to schedule six months in advance and was told to call back closer to the date. I carefully arranged flights, hotel, rental car, and multiple specialist appointments within a three or four -day window. Then, just two weeks before my trip, the office called to cancel because Dr. Kelley was going on vacation. No real apology. No concern. No effort to accommodate me. Just: he won't be available. When I said this was a major hardship and asked for another appointment, I was stunned by their response: they told me they did not want to continue seeing me because I had not been in for three years. Let that sink in. A former cancer patient returns with renewed symptoms and concern about recurrence, and instead of helping, they refuse care. I then asked for a referral and was given the name of a random head-and-neck doctor--not even an appropriate oncologist for my situation. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic human decency from this office was shocking. They even knew it and a day later tried to make up for it with an email and a phone call saying they had done my insurence research to get the right referral. "even though that is my responsibility". The whole process was extremely professional and the staff were very polite and courteous. We both agreed I needed to review my current hearing aids (which I had obtained from a major retailer) as I have moderate to severe hearing loss. I asked him to list the Double Board Certified doctors from best to average and Dr. Madorsky was the first recommendation with a star next to it. I was not let down. My first visit to his office was great. He was very thorough in his examination and knew exactly what the issues were. I needed 3 procedures done to correct my nose. I received the estimated cost in a very simple breakdown and I could not believe it. He was half the cost out of pocket than other doctors in the area! When he confirmed what I knew I needed, I immediately booked the soonest appt for surgery. My nose was very bad and he fixed it. Fixed it straighter than I would have thought. He shaved my dorsal hump to make me less bird like and more human like and reduced my turbinate that caused me to choke at night. Also fixed my deviated septum so my collapsed nostril was now breathable. I haven't slept this good in over 20 years thanks to Dr. Simon Madorsky. I was nervous as hell through the whole process but he literally made it feel like it was a breeze and downplayed any horror stories of these procedures. Dr. Madorsky is now a part of my care team and I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family interested in not just cosmetic, but also any issues with Skin Cancer. I am writing this review based on my personal experience…read more Prior to my procedure, Dr. Simon Madorsky explained that I would have a specific type of incision following Mohs surgery. Based on that explanation, I agreed to proceed and felt comfortable with the plan. However, once the Mohs surgery was completed, the incision and reconstruction were done differently than what had been discussed. This change was not communicated to me beforehand, and I did not feel I was given the opportunity to consent to the new approach. The result was not what I was led to expect, and I am very unhappy with the outcome. For a plastic surgeon, especially in a cosmetic-sensitive area, communication and transparency are critical. My experience left me feeling disappointed and misled. I would strongly advise future patients to get very clear, detailed confirmation of the surgical plan in writing before proceeding.

He cares and takes time explaining everything he's doing. His office staffs are very professional, polite and friendly.
