    Mocktail
    Deborah W.

Rating: 3.5 stars I came here with a group of four people. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were seated right away even without a reservation. The restaurant was pretty empty and we were seated to the side and only one table near us was filled. Our server was very friendly and got our order to us quickly. I tried a MOCKTAIL which was nice and tasty. We had a side of BRUSSEL SPROUTS. The sprouts were very tasty and cooked well. Definitely a nice starter. I also had a CHOPPED SALAD. When I received the bowl though I noticed a fly crawling around the hard boiled egg :O That did turn my stomach a bit but the waitress did exchange the whole bowl for a new one. The flavor and combination of the salad was great. The egg though was overly boiled and had way too much paprika on them. All in all, the food option was nice as was the service; however, there may be a slight cleanliness issue that may need to be addressed?

First we had the crab cakes and the shrimp cocktail. The happy hour red house wine was Robert Mondavi which you cannot go wrong with! For our entrees I had Fish N Chips and my boyfriend had the Imperial Ranch Skirt Steak (rare!). Both had great flavor, the Fish N Chip had a batter that was not too greasy and the french fries were crispy and salted perfectly. For the steak, it was cooked perfectly to his liking which is rare, the mashed potatoes were mouth watering and the asparagus were easy to cut and seasoned just right. Check it out in LO!

Pros: decent size menu, great wine selection Cons: inconsistent meals. Two of my friends ordered the same meal and one was missing toppings on their chicken sandwich Our server didn't check on us as much as we would have preferred and we had to help the table next to us get her attention for their check.

Not bad. Not great. So fair, I guess? I met a friend here and found it to be a lively bar with a good community vibe. I had a carne asada salad (which was more steak than asada), my share of Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, and two glasses of wine, setting me back $50 pre-tip. Things feel a tiny bit off here. The food is fine but has zero finesse. There's nary a garnish to be had nor a nod to appealing plating. The service is curt to say the least. Our server, doing double duty as hostess, was pretty much a drill sergeant. For me the distinction between 3 and 4 stars is if I'd recommend to a friend, and I'm sorry to report I wouldn't, but I do appreciate affordable wine by the glass, so there's that

A bit pricey but the food was mediocre at best. We had a lot better food for a lot cheaper prices while we were in town.

If you're looking for a spot with a great atmosphere, this is it. We had a 6:00 p.m. reservation on a Thursday, and although the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right on time. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, incredibly quick, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made some excellent recommendations, and everything he suggested was spot on. The drinks were well made, the food came out hot and fresh, and the timing of everything was excellent. Between the great service, delicious food, and gorgeous setting, it made for a really enjoyable evening. Looking forward to our next visit!

While we couldn't get a seat on the patio (it was packed), we were able to get a table by the open glass doors giving us a somewhat distant lake view. Our server hooked us up with water and after our request, brought us some ice. We'd been out and about all day and was feeling dehydrated hence why we chose not to order anything from the bar. Off the appetizer menu we ordered onion rings and crab cakes and from the entree menu we chose scallops and salmon. Our intention was to share everything, which we did. The Mr. couldn't get enough of the onion rings with the BBQ dipping sauce. I liked them too, but preferred the dill sauce. The scallops were tasty and prepared pretty well although I prefer a heavier sear. The salmon was good, but I found the corn succotash to be slightly sweet. However the Mr. disagreed. He enjoyed the combination. Our biggest disappointment of the night were the crab cakes. Not sure if it was the filler or the sauce, but neither of us cared for it. They didn't taste good enough to finish, so I left half of mine We decided to skip dessert. Parking was a little tricky, but luckily we were there on a Sunday evening, so we were able to use the underground garage next door. At the end of the day I am not sure it was worth the 30 minute drive. YMMV

The combination of ingredients was thoughtful. The mahi mahi is a must! The hamachi appetizer was right up our alley of taste and appreciation. It made the dish unnecessarily greasy and they didn't add any flavor or texture that enhanced the dish. Confetti of lentils - five stars! Superb flavor for everything. Lentils were awesome and the red peppers had a smokey vinegar flavor which reminded me of pizza! Would absolutely order again. Black Cod special - unfortunately we were very disappointed with this one! For the $38 price tag you get a speck of fish, which was cooked to perfection but poor flavor, and the edemame puree didn't help mask it. The bar has an awesome atmosphere too. Especially once it gets dark outside the mood of the bar becomes even more intimate and inviting. View is stunning in the daytime so you can't go wrong anytime of day. Janice was a peach as a server and Molly the manager was a doll to work with with our gift card hiccup. Overall I give this a 4.5 but was happy to round up to a five. Next time I'd want to try more appetizers.

The first thing you'll notice is the ample outdoor seating - perfect for enjoying a meal and/or drinks outside in nice weather, shaded by large trees. The vibe inside is cozy, with lots of stained wood and warm lighting. The front room has a fireplace, and the dark wood L-shaped bar is inviting. Decorating the walls are a large Jameson's Irish Whiskey mirror and a variety of photos, sayings, and Irish knickknacks. Absent the sound of a telltale accent, you won't know whether you're in Lake Oswego or Limerick. Somewhat hidden is a basement area with a TV, board games, shuffleboard, a dartboard, and mini-foosball table. There are a dozen or so beers on tap, including Guinness, of course. Pints are served in special Guinness glasses. Behind the bar are a nice selection of Scotch and Irish Whiskeys. Appetizer favorites include Bavarian Bangers (soft pretzel and banger sausage) and Pan Seared Brussel Sprouts. The menu includes staples (Fish N' Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Bangers & Mash, etc.) as well as a selection of sandwiches and burgers.
