our server was friendly but the service was a little slow. they were out of the aqua fresco pineapple so we got the mango one instead. very good and refreshing. we split the al pastor street tacos. pretty tasty but meat was a little dry. BE AWARE that the price listed on the menu is inaccurate. despite al pastor being placed on the $14 line with chicken, i was charged $3 extra. i asked our server and he explained that al pastor is one of the premium meats and the menu was printed incorrectly. i explained how i thought it was $14 and got it specifically because it was cheaper. he discussed it with his manager and refunded me $3. he said his manager was very sorry about the menu issue. read more

A few weekends ago, my family and friends visited Rehobeth beach! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Baja bobs is not only located right on the boardwalk which means it gives all dining by the sea vibes, but they have an incredible happy hour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2 tacos for $4.00 ( the chicken was flavored so well) plus $4.00 beers ( which they have listed) I'm sorry I don't exactly remember the time. The service was attentive, informative, and honestly went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. With a larger party things can get a little hectic but Baja Bobs knew exactly what to do. This newer spot on the boardwalk did not disappoint. We stopped in for lunch and were instantly greeted with a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were able to sit in the open window seats with a great view of the boardwalk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Post-Labor Day weekend, they've extended their happy hour specials to all day. I know it's a "boardwalk restaurant" but I think it's new this season so my family wanted to check it out. Unfortunately it was not good. Chips were very stale. Salsa and queso were like water. Chicken Taco bowl had almost no chicken in it and tasted like something that was microwaved. 8 of us had lunch and no one really liked it and it was all insanely over priced....even for boardwalk food. I went with my (grown) grandson who wanted to take me to lunch. He got a virgin pina colada & I got a pina colada that was more experienced. Both were wonderful, as was the food. We were happy with the service, I think our server's name was Dave but I'm not sure. Baja Bob's this was August 20th so maybe check who was the dark haired handsome waiter that day? He checked on us not too much but not so it wasn't enough. The food was so good I was considering ordering more To Go even though I had dinner for that night already settled. I just wanted more Baja Bob's. We will absolutely be back. read more

Food was bland and a small portion for the price. Just not worth the price for the mediocre food. Service was okay but when we completed the purchase with credit card it automatically added a tip without us knowing. We stopped for lunch on opening day. We had looked forward to having fish or seafood tacos or salad bowls, having enjoyed the same at both inexpensive and pricey restaurants out West such as Wahoos Fish Taco. We were disappointed. The guacamole was clearly not freshly made at the restaurant and appeared to have been pushed out of a pouch and was not very good and clearly not worth the premium upgrade price. Staff got order wrong for one of us but were eager to please and given that it was the first day of operation it was excusable. Unless Baja Bob's changes course on guacamole, a key offering in a Mexican restaurant, we would not revisit. read more

The tacos were so greasy, the chips were hard, we had to wait more than ten minutes for a server to come to our table and we were not sure if we had to go up, I will not be come back to this establishment anytime soon. read more
