Overrated!! I'll always drive to chipotle in Tulsa over here. Food is always dry and overpriced for what you get.

If you mess up at building your OWN burrito, then you have failed. You can pick and choose and custom make something or just order something off the menu. Service is good, place is clean and Jack (who owns the place astonishingly) is a great guy. Kid friendly, and adult friendly (aka they have beer). Not 100% authentic Mexican, but it is super close to California surf food. They also play Sublime and other cool tunes. read more

Better than Chipotle. And this is coming from someone who will happily eat Chipotle every day. This is the highest compliment I can give. They are gluten sensitive friendly and can make any buritto or taco on lettuce. They also have GF chips. I will be coming back! read more

Similar setup to Chipotle but food is much better here and there are more options for everything. You go down the line choosing your wrap (taco, burrito, soft taco, taco salad, bowl or no wrap), meat, beans, cheese, veggies and various extras. They also have a good number of set menu items you can choose from. The thing I feel really sets them above and beyond Chipotle is the salsas! They have many options so you're sure to find some you like (I never liked Chipotle's because their mild was just pico and the next level up was flavorless and just burned). I have been here at least 5 times and they are always pretty busy so it seems like a pretty well liked local stop. The one thing I will warn you about is calling in or ordering online you may want to check your order. When you pre-order a build your own Baja they attach the sheet of what you requested to the item which is nice. Unfortunately the first time we ordered online here we got home and I took a couple bites of my burrito and discovered it was loaded with chicken even though the sheet attached said no meat. I have not had that issue since so it may have been an anomaly. read more

WOW! I am so bummed out! We went there for the first time, tonight. We called in take-out, ordering the tacos that were supposed to be a crab & shrimp mix. What I received was imitation crab meat with 1 small shrimp the size of a nickel, semi cooked onions & peppers. Wow, folks! I could have cooked this mess in 5 mins at home, for a third of the price. Your cooks need to take some pride in their cooking skills and DON'T use crappy ingredients! If you cannot provide fresh, real ingredients than don't put it on the menu. read more

The closest to San Diego/Baja style Mexican food I've found here in the Tulsa area. I consider the prices extremely reasonable, they have healthy options (whole wheat tortillas, burrito bowls, fat-free cheese, lots of veg options). Excellent, fresh chips and a wide variety of fresh and tasty salsas. read more

By far the best place to eat in Owasso. I've been eating here ever since it opened and their burrito tastes better every single time I go. Except for that time I ate the volcano burrito in 3 minutes. That time wasn't as fun. The 15 free burritos after were very delightful though. Love this place til the day I die. read more

Would be nice if they would open on time, and not just stare at me sitting in the cold outside their door. But I'm sure the conversation the Mgr Jesse and his two employees were having was more important than opening on time. Also sad to see the owners care so little they have no way to contact them about issues at their restaurant, but would rather you just tell who's on duty and expect them to tattle on themselves. You would do much better to try a real local spot, like a samborsito food truck. read more

I'll just say Best Burrito in this town. 4 pm on a Saturday and half packed. Great choices of meat, veggies, cheese, beans, rice, extras and great sauces at the salsa bar. My only criticism is that this place constantly needs cleaning due to chips on the floor and....reason for that kid messes. Also, I think the salsa bar and drink area is a very high traffic area and should be redesigned. But, great burritos..made to your specs. read more

In town to pick up a relative at the Tulsa airport so wondered into Owasso to kill some time shopping. Baja Jacks, your outside is very appealing to the eye. However, the inside? Complete disaster. Filthy floors, rude staff (cooks look like they're on meth) and just an overall messy place. Packed though! So food must be good, right? Haha! Wrong! Mediocre at best, and that's being generous. Don't waste your time or $$ here! The only reason this gets one star, is because the land shark was cold and refreshing. read more

When I called to place a pickup order I had a few questions about the menu. The girl got annoyed I was asking her about the burritos so she told me to just look at the menu when I came in then hung up. I got there 30 minutes before closing time but they mopped all around me as other employees stacked chairs. They were so busy trying to close early that I waited around 15 extra minutes longer than usual to get my order. I won't be back. read more

Everything here is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Anaheim relleno. It is fresh shredded chicken over cilantro rice when a poblano pepper. It also has peppers and onions in a little bit of cheese on top. It's a big portion but low in calories and it absolutely does not taste like it's low in calories it is phenomenal. Every time I go I have to get one to eat there and one to take home! Their guacamole and dip is also great and they have a salsa bar. The owner and wife are wonderful people also!! You have to try this place!!! My husband's favorite is their carne asada burrito and my sons is their shredded chicken build your own burrito or BYOB!! PS... Someone said their food was pricey??? That's such a joke because this place has the best prices in town for what you get! I mean the guacamole is like $2.50 a bowl!! Where can you get guacamole for that? And my Anaheim relleno, which I love, is a full meal in itself with the chips and salsa you get. It's only $6? That's pricey? I guess that person must only eat at McDonald's. Went here over lunch with two friends. It looked like I hit the noontime rush, as the line was long and was the only person in line when I got to the register. I got a BOYB burrito, which was excellent. The shredded beef in the burrito was delicious. The salsa bar had a variety of salsas, and I settled on a corn and bean salsa and a tomato salsa, which were excellent. We opted to sit outside on the picnic tables as the restaurant was fairly busy. Out food was brought out to us in a reasonable amount of time, and we dined on our feast of West Coast style burrito fare. Overall, the food and atmosphere were very good. read more

The service was not that great. We are new in town and did not know what we were supposed to do. The girl who took our order was more focused on moving us along. I had the rolled tacos, and they had barely any meat, and reminded me of frozen taquitos, with cold cheese sprinkled on top. My boyfriend had the nachos and the cold cheese made the chicken cold, and the queso was more gel-like. We also could not tell who we could ask questions to, especially since the manager (or who we presume was the manager) was goofing off with the others. There did not seem to be anyone in charge. Overall, not really impressed. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, but it seemed to be cheap and pre-made. read more

Baja Jacks is just amazing! I've been going there almost every week since it opened and I never tire of it! I get the BYOB (Build your own burrito), except I make it a taco salad shell. Another awesome thing to order is the steak quesadilla. The queso is my favorite in Owasso. The chips are often stale and the service sometimes lacking but food-wise it remains the best fast-food Mexican food I have ever had. read more
