Want to start off the review by saying if you're an American visitor, i quickly realized that we…read morehave to realize that service outside of America moves at a different rate; convenience and at our finger tips. Hotel Hacienda Bajamar is such a beautiful resort that is best experienced at a slower rate. We were there for our friends wedding so we stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Their standard rooms are very bare minimum; they do not include microwaves or a refrigerator but you will have your hotel toiletries, towels, hairdryer, iron board, iron, hangers, 4 bed pillows with decorative pillows, comforter blanket, AC, ceiling fan and a tv with basic cable. Around the hotel itself has artifacts and artwork that decorates the hotel nicely. The hotel building itself looks a bit on the older side but I feel like that gives the hotel character and personality. There is one restaurant within the resort and they have a fairly large menu for reasonable prices! Remember what I mentioned about the service situation earlier?! This is where I'd implement the practice of being patient and kind. This is the only restaurant on the entire resort, so they are busy often with room service and catering events all while running the restaurant/restaurant bar. We dined for a dinner and regular breakfast, we waited about 30-40 mins for our food so I highly would not recommend going when you're starving.. We didn't golf, but the ceremony and reception was held at the Infinity Center which overlooks the ocean BEAUTIFULLY during a cloudless day and the sunset is sooooo beautiful. I'd love to come back again with my family!

Quaint, athentic and welcoming of surfers and travelers of all kinds. The manager Antonio is a true blessing to this already adorable motel. He will make sure you have anything you need. And ask him about his recommendations around the area. He is a wealth of fantatic advise. If you are a resort type traveler this is not the place for you. However if you are looking for a real Mexican experience this is the place to be.

When I got there the people were fantastic and we decided to add an extra night. they are renovating the place as we speak and have 4 or 5 rooms out of 9 available. Anthony the manager was fantastic, he made every effort to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. would you like coffee in the morning? Anthony delivers it. the owner also stays on the property and is very kind to his guests. If you're a surfer it's the perfect place, Antonio teaches surfing, if you are already a surfer he is more than glad to take you out to all the great waves and spots. If you're not a surfer no problem you can walk one block down and have numerous fantastic restaurants and bars to choose from no driving required. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who does not require five star service in a five star resort but is willing to take a chance with a small business owner and a small hotel. thank you to the hotel and its staff for all the excellent treatment.

You can't beat the location -- right on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful beach and crashing waves. The hotel itself has always been funky, built Ramshackle into the side of the cliff. However, it has gone a bit from quaint and unique to run down and in need of some major renovation and TLC. (Many items not working, like lights, fans, TVs, etc). We did enjoy our stay, and can't beat the price starting at $100 per night (cash). We always love getting some food and drinks on their patio with the stunning ocean views. The food was actually very good this time, even better than some past visits. It would be nice they could make some improvements, though, even if it involves raising the rates a bit. But overall, still a great trip to a bit of a gem in the rough.

The property itself was beautiful, grape vines everywhere, a beautiful pool/hot tub area and a fountain with a view of the valley in the background. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The best part about the room was the view and the patio overlooking the view. The service was perfect, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. And not all the staff can speak perfect English, but it was easy to communicate with everyone, and I cannot express just how friendly every staff member was. This hotel had everything we needed. There are two restaurants on site, one that is open for breakfast/lunch, and closes around 5pm and another that is open for dinner and opens around 5-6pm. The dinner restaurant on site Aledano, is newer and the Chef is incredible, he came to speak with us and make recommendations and when I told him I was vegetarian he prepared the Orzo dish without meat and honestly, it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. There is also a beautiful winery on site with wonderful wine. Everything about this hotel is perfect. He communicated very well sending all necessary info prior to arrival. I was delighted to find we were in walking distance to the famous K-38 surf break and also local places to eat. Native Residence is at the top of a mountain, in a private gated community with lovely homes, so if you plan to walk, it's safe but know it's quite a hike. The views of the mountains, Pacific and Rosarito's Christ of the Sacred Heart statue are beautiful. Fortunately, Ubers are available if you don't have your own vehicle. The chalet is classy, has high quality materials, yet it was very comfortable. The lights were thoughtfully decorated and very tasteful. The scent of the bed linens were absolutely incredible. Our room offered fresh water, a small fridge, an espresso machine, a smart tv with projector, black out blinds and a private fire pit on our balcony. The three chalets have their own shared jacuzzi to use with ocean view and it was heavenly. They offer fresh breakfast à la cart on the upper shared patio or in your room. It has a very quaint community feel there yet you have your own space if you prefer it. Carlos and the ladies working there were very kind and helpful. I'm happy we stayed here and hope to return again in the future!

The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect anniversary getaway. The host and co-host were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. Knowing we were celebrating our anniversary and hoping for an amazing ocean view, they graciously upgraded us to the Miel Master Suite at no additional charge. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and the ocean views were absolutely breathtaking. The suite itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and the bed was so comfortable. I honestly can't remember the last time I slept that well! We also loved the shared kitchen, which created such a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight each morning with the chilaquiles and lavender pancakes were absolutely delicious, and having a nespresso machine in the room was the perfect added touch. We truly can't say enough great things about Native Residence. We loved our stay so much that while we were still there, our close friends booked the exact same suite for their anniversary next month! One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. That killed the appetite pretty quick. We also ordered wine but we did not ask for the price and they ended up pouring a very expensive bottle. It was good but make sure you ask because the bill was pretty high We also booked this place because paddle boarding was offered. When we went to rent the boards they said they were not renting them out. Major bummer, if I would have known I would have brought my own board Over all nice hotel but I'm not sure if I would go back
