Customer service is awesome and sweet like their treats . I got 4 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and they included a birthday pick and candle. That's special care. They are located in Cudahy on a corner. All I had to do was follow my nose because wow- I asked her what smelled soooo good and she said she was baking a strawberry rhubarb pie!!! Just so many yummies. Give them a visit.

The first event that occurred was when I went to Jen's to simply grab a few pieces of candy because I didn't have too much change on me. I grabbed some stuff and a few pieces I got were a bit over the amount I had. Instead of kindly saying that an older woman that's always at the register told me,"If you know you don't have enough money don't bring all of this up here" I found it rude but I assumed she had a bad day. The second interaction happened today. I came in with a few cents in my pocket to pay for some candy and leave like I always do I go to Jen's all the time. I pay , and I'm always nice. She followed me around , hovered over me when I tried getting what I needed , stared me down as soon as I came in , and I am an African American woman. She stared me down and when I went to the register she asked me if I had anything in my pockets when I went to ask her how much money in change I had. I was flabbergasted. She stared me up and down and made me feel unwelcome. I simply put what I already grabbed back and left. I did say,"No offense but if you're gonna think I'm stealing then I won't shop here." And I left. They're always in a rude mood when there and almost never nice. I went back later just for an explanation as that's a local store. They both said it's because they thought I put things in my pocket I told her I didn't and she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. I asked why she would think that I always pay. I didn't get anything only that she thought I was stealing. I don't know if it's because I'm African American but this environment makes me feel unsafe due to the energy , the glares , and the rude comments.

The lady rattled off the usual muffins and I stopped her at raspberry because I don't think that I have ever had a raspberry muffin before. The idea of a fresh raspberry muffin intrigued me and I couldn't wait to try it. My first impression was the muffin was slightly sweet and then the tart kicks in from the fresh raspberries. I have had sweet muffins in the past but I don't think I have had a tart muffin before and I really liked it. Wow I would definitely stop over when I see a booth again and try something different that I have never had before.

I have tried many, many, oh so many of their products and I have seriously loved everything I've had. Don't believe me? -Banana Choc Chip Cupcake -Pumpkin Cake -Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie -Brownie -Raspberry, blueberry, and banana muffins -Rhubarb Pie -Cherry Pie -Rhubarb, cherry, and apple dumpling LOVED IT ALL. Thankfully I have not eaten all of that in one sitting, but if I could I may just try. My faves? Dumplings and brownies. Both are top notch, out of this world, and had I not know they were vegan, they woulda fooled me! I wish they were open to the public for a longer period of time, but I am just as glad to go to my local outpost and pick up some product there.

But a few things makes this place stand out…read more 1) Friendly staff 2) Really good car wash that actually cleans your car well 3) Free air for your tires 4) Good selection of food/groceries for those on the go 5) Competitive fuel prices. So, after working in the yard all day decided to repeat the 8 pc chicken. Staff here is great, store and restrooms always clean and I have eaten maybe to many lunches off the hot bar. Food is always pretty good for gas station food. This chicken was no where as good as the last time which was hot from fryer. This had been previously made and I believe sat in a warming oven on a flat surface in oil. There was a lot of oil in bottom of box and all chicken parts were soggy that were on the bottom. Instead of crispy, soggy with oil. Needs to be put on a wire rack after frying. Disappointed but will most likely give them another chance with the chicken sometime or just buy from the hot bar. Was thinking pre ordering would be made to order. First time ordered one hour before pick up. This time 5 hours before pick up. EGGS $0.99 this week

Glazer Doughnut with Chocolate Drizzle: Kwik Trip is a convenience store/gas station chain located…read moreprimarily in the upper Mid-West. It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). It wasn't until 2003 that Kwik Trip introduced their Glazer Doughnuts. I couldn't find a lot of info on Glazers, but they appear to simply be the Kwik Trip version of a glazed doughnut. The Glazer that I got my hands on is a yeast/raised doughnut, covered in a sweet glaze, and has a chocolate drizzle on top. There's a pale/whitish appearance to the doughnut since the layer of glaze is so thick. With an appearance like that it reminded me a bit of a zebra or oddly enough, the Warboys from Mad Max. My glazer was satisfyingly sweet, and the chocolate drizzle was a nice touch as it was not simply for aesthetics, but did add some milk chocolate flavor. Warming it in the microwave for a few seconds elevated it to near Krispy Kreme status (aka perfection). Even though it's an ersatz Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut (to be fair, all other glazed doughnuts in my experience are), Kwik Trip's version is still tasty enough to be Doughboy approved My top doughnut shops: 1. Donut Bar (San Diego) 2. Pinkbox Doughnuts (Las Vegas) 3. Everglazed (Disney Springs) 4. Cranky Al's (MKE) 5. Krispy Kreme (various locations in different states) doughboy_food_reviews
