I love cupcakes! Our visit this time was to pick up a Yelp perk and get some cupcakes for the kids too. The app for the perk was glitchy both times I visited, but the staff member at the counter the second time was able to find the info in the computer - yay!! We got a Summer Smoothie, a Bumpilicious, a Vanilla Latte and a Strawberry Sunshine (if I'm remembering all the fun names correctly). They were all yummy (although we couldn't talk each other into sharing much) and the frosting was our favorite!! I'm excited to go back and try one of those ginormous caramel apples! The Google hours, your website and the posted hours for this business are incorrect. Your door says you are open until either 7 pm or 9 pm by the day. We arrived at 4:59 pm to buy four cupcakes and found the place locked closed. It was my husband's birthday and he really wanted a cupcake. We smiled, we waved. Asked a few questions on coffee and decaf options and employee was cold and unwelcoming. Chose a latte- no sugar in it. Tastes burnt. Will not say anything to worker as our first encounter was less than ideal. Ordered a caramel apple- not bad but no napkins or way to cut it. Also got another dessert and it was okay but 10 minutes prior to close the employees sweep by everyone and say 'we're closed now'. Everything was just mediocre for the price. Great addition to downtown! Very sleek and modern vibe, delicious cupcakes and donuts. I loved Cupcake Station and their cupcakes, and I love that their top quality cupcakes are still available alongside Blake's cider and donuts. When we went, it was towards the end of the day but there will still plenty of cupcake options to choose from, and still pretty fresh.
