The ribbon was $1.50 extra but added to celebratory occasion. I had a plate that matched so used it to create a nice photo, including adding a candle and making a wish! I would expect these prices for more gourmet quality cupcakes. It is a typical cupcake, which is fine for most people, especially kids and those with a sweet tooth.
