Had their famous chocolate cake which was delicious. Since I'm not too much of a sweets gal def had this in three sittings. The iced latte was also very good not too strong but perfectly made. Service was excellent the girl behind the counter was super friendly and gave suggestions about what to try. Ambiance was great this is a spot to stop by and chat with friends or even enjoy a baked good and coffee while you read

Heard amazing things about this place and have been meaning to check it out for awhile. Finally had a chance to stop by today and I am so glad I finally tried it!! We got a number of things to try, including cheese danish, raspberry cheese danish, maple bacon croissant, ginger snap cookie, and of course, the signature blackout chocolate cake. Everything was absolutely delicious, the chocolate cake was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I ever had. It was moist, flavorful and perfectly sweet. The space is super cute and inviting. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Today we visited the famous (and diet infamous) Bakehouse by Joe Murphy in Madison, NJ. What can I say about their brownie except Yum! Not knowing what we were going to choose, we decided to go for the classic brownie, which is a fudgy, chocolatey, decadent treat that's perfect for any meal. The super friendly and extremely helpful person at the counter said "you get a different experience when it's cold versus room temperature" which we tried and now I want more. After decades in 5-star hotels and Michelin-star restaurants as a head pastry chef, Joe Murphy wanted to bring Parisian-style and luxury baked goods home - serving them up to my neighbors in NJ. Making high-quality baked goods accessible, from their custom cakes and pies to classic (but far from ordinary) cookies and brownies. Every time I'm in the area I stop by! The bakery has a great variety of pastries, both savory and sweet. You can tell they're baked fresh and they're always delicious! My favorite are the croissants that are so light and flaky! Of course the Brooklyn black out cake is also a must try, it beat Bobby Flay on his Food Network show! The service is always quick and so friendly. They'll also warm up a pastry for you! They have a few seats inside and outside to enjoy your treats. Parking is easy in a plaza. Definitely worth checking out!

Eating his blackout cake is better than sex! No wonder he beat Bobbie Flay! You'll love. Brownies and blondes are wonderful too

Everyone loved the cake! When we picked up the cake we couldn't resist the coffee and apple carrot muffin. So good.

Strawberry shortcake, not too sweet

Great bakery in New Providence. The strawberry shortcake is presented very differently than what you'd normally see. The cake part is super fluffy and whipped cream not overly sweet at all (just like how I prefer)! They have a variety of baked goods and cakes, like sprinkle cakes which looked fun.

Have been here several times, and each time is amazing. Fresh pastries, excellent coffee, and the cakes are gorgeous and taste great. Service is always very pleasant and helpful.

This popular cafe is located right in the heart of Basking Ridge. It's small inside but there's outdoor seating also. We had a half hour wait for a table inside. The place has a very cozy feel to it and everyone we met who worked here was very friendly. I started my meal with a Vanilla Chai Latte and my wife had a Macha Latte. My wife ordered the Blintzes with blueberries and I had the Paris Morning breakfast. We both loved the food! My dish came with 2 potato pancakes, 2 poached eggs, and smoked salmon. Just delicious! A cool bit of trivia is that Paul McCartney and his wife stopped in here a few years ago. We didn't see Paul today, but we did enjoy the experience!

It was very busy yesterday around 11:30 am. When we finally got seated, the place did not disappoint. We first ordered macchiato, cappuccino, and lemonade, the coffee was strong and great! We ordered two American breakfast and Warsaw breakfast. One of the American was scrambled eggs and the other was egg over medium. The sausage was very tasty. It was not salty and the bacon was a little thick, and it was also not your typical salty bacon. The sausage was delicious and the bacon was nice and crunchy. The side potatoes were so delicious with onions and peppers. I finished all of mine. It was perfectly seasoned and not salty so eating this brunch was such a joy. The side roll was also delicious with butter. It looked like a sesame and wheat roll. It made it even so more enjoyable. The Warsaw breakfast was on a very hot small iron skillet. The Kabasa was delicious and it was typical on the salty side. The breakfast potato was delicious with the Warsaw breakfast, it had small cherry tomatoes with the potatoes. We also ordered two side pancakes. The pancakes were not as fluffy, but it was very good. It was on the expensive side for one pancake. It was around five dollars. Overall this breakfast restaurant was awesome. Small with a lot of character inside. The service was quick and on point.

Plenty of parking in street if needed. Inside is dark and inviting and they have a cute outdoor dining space as well. They start out by serving fresh Foccacia with seasoned olive oil. For starters , my wife and I shared an eggplant tower, fried eggplant layered with mozzarella and tomatoes. Very good. Our friends shared a salad and enjoyed as well. For mains our friends both ordered the hanger steak, my wife had the salmon, and I ordered their chicken special ( a boneless breast wrapped in pancetta). Everything was not only delicious but plentiful. Owner checked on us several times during our meals. Highly recommend trying this establishment.

Cute interior with Christmas decorations already making things festive. We were greeted and seated near the cozy fireplace. Started with the harvest salad, conveniently split in the kitchen. Delicious. Entrees were pappardelle ragu and their seared tuna. Both were fresh and flavorful. We finished the evening with their house made tiramisu. Yum. Will be back as service was attentive and friendly, food was great and loved the decor!

First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!
