Quite possibly the best all around bakery in NJ, at least from where I visited. Cakes. Got it. Cookies. Got it. Pastries. Got it. Donuts. Got it. Fresh baked bread. Got it. Delicious ass sandwiches made with the delicious ass bread. Got it. This place has it all. Great staff too.

not only just an italian bakery with a ton of options but also a place to get lunch. they have great italian sandwiches on fresh bread - i ordered the eggplant, zucchini, roasted red peppers, & balsamic glaze sandwich. so nice to see there was a vegan option & it was ready within ten minutes. i ate at one of their tables - quiet, cozy & quaint. definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick lunch bite in summit, definitely underrated!

I love this place and all the baked items and pastries. We tried the food today. The warm panini of broccoli rabe and roast pork was very fresh and good. The tiny quiche was a little dry. Stick to the fresh sandwiches or pizzas. And don't forget the dessert!

Based on my two macarons, a raspberry and a chocolate, three stars. Why only 3? I'll get to it. The bakery is nice, clean, and filled with plenty of cakes, tarts, cookies, and other goodie combos. Service is nice. Polite. I'm gluten free. I don't make a big deal of it. In rare instances I'll have a taste of something, but most likely, not. I'll pick out a macaron any day. I like my macarons to have a bit of a soft crunch on the outside, and not be too sweet. Both the ones I bought here lacked those qualities. It was like eating a preserve cookie that was too fresh and the preserve was sweetened with sugar. Everything here looks good. Sometimes looks can be deceiving. Never judge a book by its cover.

The butter roll was so yummy and exactly what I needed as a quick snack. The staff was super friendly and they were willing to tell us about all their treats and make recommendations

Really liked this place! We ordered two lattes (whole milk and oat milk) and both were great,…read moresmooth and well made. The butter sable cookies were delicious. They also gave us complimentary cookies, which was a nice touch. Staff was friendly, and the café feels clean and well-kept with an in-house bakery setup that you can actually see, which adds to the charm. Overall, a cozy spot I'd definitely recommend.

I used to love this place, but it has honestly become a crime scene. The prices are criminal, to…read moresay the least. My wife goes there fairly often; I, on the other hand, only go occasionally. Over the years, I had always been happy with the quality of the products they sell, but lately the pricing has gotten completely out of hand. We were there this past Saturday for breakfast. We shared a shakshuka and had two mocha coffees in the table area, and my wife also ordered a salmon toast. That was it. Somehow, this breakfast cost as much as four meals we had at an Israeli restaurant in NYC the very next day -- and, by the way, those meals were far superior to anything I've ever had at Liv. While at the NYC restaurant, we noticed they charge only $7 for fresh-squeezed orange juice -- in a larger portion than Liv's $12 glass of OJ. Their shakshuka is also only $16, compared with Liv's $22. And this place is in the heart of NYC, not in suburbia New Jersey. I also used to love getting Liv's cookies and croutons, but those have become expensive beyond reason as well. Two packs of cookies, one crouton, and a mocha coffee came to over $50. Seriously? At this point, it is clear to me that the owner's strategy is to keep raising prices to see how much he can get away with. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'm done. I will no longer be patronizing this kind of price gouging.
