I wish I'd heard about Baker & Baker under better circumstances but unfortunately it was after I totaled my most trustworthy friend: Red Demon, my 2007 Toyota Corolla on the way home from work. Rainy, oily road, dark country road, and tires don't mix. My car spun around about three times and then I found out what a head on collision with a guard rail feels like. B&B picked up my wreck and cleaned up all of the debris. Yesterday, I went and said goodbye. They helped me to get all of my belongings from the car and are coordinating with my insurance to have the car picked up. Great customer service. read more

Great service. Today I was on my way to an appointment when, wouldn't you know it, my car breaks down. Unpleasant. I call triple A and they send Baker and Baker to get me, well, that was a good experience. Even though I hate having my car break down, my tow driver seemed likke a great guys, was nice, and could carry a good old fashioned conversation. So many people don't know how to do that anymore. I cannot express to you how relieving it is to be picked up by someone who isn't unpleasant, and how much it helps with life to be able to just move forward with my day, and not have had any unpleasant experience to top off my already rough day read more

We were visiting Portland on holiday and rented a car to drive out to see the tulip farm in Woodburn. About five minutes before we arrived at the farm, we got a check engine light for low tire pressure and sure enough, we had a flat tire! We called AAA and they had Baker & Baker out quickly. They towed us all the way back to the car rental agency in Portland, during rush hour (about an hour and fifteen minutes), and were super friendly, professional and accommodating throughout. I can't thank Baker and Baker towing enough. After someone hit and totaled my car, they were the first on the scene (before any emergency personnel). They were caring, professional and helpful. The day after the accident I went to get my personal items out of the car and they had tarpped it because my windows and moonroof were open at the time of the accident. They even moved it into a locked area so nothing would get stolen. They went the extra mile for sure. Wonderful, kind hearted employees. Thank you for helping me on one of the worst days of my life! They were referred to me by AAA. I've worked on cars for a long time, and often (unfortunately that means they need towing often). My pet project broke down on me in a friend's driveway. I was scared they would send the main Canby tow company. They told me it was going to be these guys who I have never used before. My car needs a flat bed, and it's low to the ground. AAA told me about 40 minutes. They text me that it would be 50... Kris was there in less than 30. Tricky driveway, he whipped right in, loaded my car without a problem, and unloaded it without a problem as well. He actually made sure to take care of my car. In the 12 years I've had that car, and the numerous towings.. I have never had better service! Kris is amazing! I'll use them from now on for all my towing needs. I have AAA for towing and called AAA to have an RV towed they dispatched Baker & Baker to my location the driver was extremely rude very unprofessional and refused to tow my motorhome stating various reasons why he didn't want to give me a tow 12 miles away. When you're going through a very stressful time & your car is broke down the last thing you need is a driver with an attitude that refuses to help and is very rude. I would never recommend this towing company. The driver explicitly said no one would tow the vehicle as the tread was worn on the back tires and I then turned around and called two other towing companies of which both gave me a decent price and one that is in the same town as Baker and Baker ended up telling me with no issues to my home. If you're in the tow business to help people by towing them and you refuse to do the work and you're having a bad day you probably should refrain from showing up at work. read more

My boyfriend and I were out and about and we had some car trouble. I'm a member of AAA and we were refered to Baker & Baker to get the car towed. The car is a Subaru, so we were sent a flatbed. Joe came out and was so respectful and polite. Joe took a look and said he was so sorry that flatbeds are sent as a standard procedure, bc he could have moved it with a different truck. We said, just do it anyway and Joe didn't want to damage the car further. He was calm in explaining why something could go wrong and my bf immediately nodded understanding and was very happy he didn't tow it as is. We were just so happy for his honesty and we continued to try to fix the problem ourselves. After a few days of us trying to fix the car and get it home, to no avail, I called AAA again. This time, having me on file and some notes jotted, I was able to talk with AAA and tell them what Joe told us so they could understand what was needed. I got a call back from B&B, and the gal was a little snarky asking questions about why we were calling again and requesting another truck when it didn't work before, and I was a little embarrsed and started to feel bad... I mean. Idk the rules or what AAA does with it's vendors, all I know is I pay for a premiere service, they were the only ones in the area to help us. I said I was happy someone was attempting to help us again. She seemed a little confused, but said she'd call AAA if needed and hung up. That bothered me, but the customer service from Joe and Chris make up for all of it! This time Chris showed up with all the right gear, including a KICK-ASS smile and CAN DO attitude. He was up and down, all around, getting the car set up and hooked up like a flash. We were so happy. Those men were so professional and helped get our car home and fixed! We were assigned Baker & Baker through AAA to get my car towed after a mishap with a curb. We were sent a flatbed because Subaru, but the nature of the damage meant that the flatbed wouldn't work. Joe said that he COULD have done it if he'd had a different truck, but he didn't want to risk further damage to my vehicle. We thanked him for his honesty and tried to fix it on-site without success, then called AAA again a couple of days later. This time we specified what we needed based on the advice Joe gave us, and got the car hooked up and home without issue. I had the pleasure of getting a dead car battery in a Walmart parking lot with 2 toddlers. I called AAA and they said that I'd be getting help within 45 minutes. As I sat there, I was a little concerned about what kind of person would be helping me. I was in a busy well lit parking lot, but it would have been scarier if faced with being stuck in a dark secluded place. But, then Justin pulled up in his Baker & Baker truck. He was such a nice guy. I enjoyed talking with him while he jumped by van and got me ready to go. If his fellow truck drivers are half as great as him, I'd say this company has a good team working for them. AAA dispatched Baker & Baker to tow me to Les Schwab. The tow driver insisted that I drive to Les Schwab on my totally flat tire, that it would not hurt the tire. He refused to tow me. It destroyed the tire by ripping the sidewall. Baker & Baker refuses to take responsibility or pay for my tire. I talked to their manager, who insisted that my tire couldn't possibly have been damaged by driving a mere quarter mile on it completely flat. Their AAA approval should be removed. read more

Driving down my street at the speed limit I had a Baker and Baker tow truck come roaring up behind me. Driver then proceeded to tailgate me so close all I could see in the mirror was a small piece of the truck's grill. Never will I use this towing service. read more

Ron came on behalf of AAA to pick my car up this evening after a fender bender (I think it was Ron- my nerves are still frayed so remembering names is hard!). He was very calm, kind, thorough and did a great job. I had my two dogs with me so I was a little worried about how they would be managed, but he took incredible care of all of us. I called AAA at 5:45 am on my way to work when I had car troubles. I was alone on the side of the highway and it was a quite stressful situation. The towtruck driver that showed up on 3/30/15 to help me out was amazing! He was so nice, calm and helpful and he was there in 20 minutes. He told me to sit in his truck because it was actually warm. He towed my car to a shop in Canby but was willing to take it just about anywhere. He made a stressful situation so much easier. I appreciate it! read more
