Got breakfast pastries from here for bachelorette weekend and they were SOOO good! The morning buns are a buttery sugary flaky must try! Their croissants were also an airy dream without being too buttery overload. Their scone was also light and flavorful. Highly recommend!

The meals were great! Turkey bagel and housemade vanilla latte were definitely shoe stoppers. Donuts and scone were good, though they were a little dryer than we anticipated. That said, we would go back for more. The real star of the show was the orange loaf. It was basically a baby cake and was so moist. This alone is worth going for. Service was great, the men at the counter were super friendly and helpful with recommendations for us. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a casual coffee and meal.

Cute little spot in town and had to try it out based on the reviews. Super nice inside and cute out back seating and the weather was lovely. Friendly staff and very attentive. Biscuits and gravy had great flavor but not much gravy. When I asked for extra gravy I was charged $6 and didn't get much extra gravy. Breakfast burrito was a good size but they didn't have any salsa which is unheard of for places with breakfast burritos.

Super charming cafe with a really nice outdoor dining area! Staff were so kind and friendly. All around a great morning stop for some coffee and some pastries!!

Baker and Cook.. Your new favorite breakfast spot. This is a charming little bakery, small parking lot but actually quite a lot of patio seating and a few tables inside in the main space. They have breakfast, a small selection of pastry and bread and a modest breakfast/lunch menu. So, if you come here hungry.. Trust me. Get the biscuit breakfast. "two buttermilk biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, three scrambled eggs and arugula $18" Was talking to the gentleman working the counter and he mentioned the head chef specializes in southern cooking. I'm not a connoisseur with this genre of food, but I've had a fair amount of it. Surely the most enjoyable biscuits and sausage gravy I've had. A local RI place and a local FL come close but Baker and Cook takes the cake. This is also a heavy portion. I was filled up after this and I have a healthy appetite. I know the biscuit and sausage gravy is the main attraction here but the eggs and arugula salad were equally tasty. All around great breakfast (my favorite breakfast of my vacation in fact). One day when I visit again I'll be making my way back here.

Stopped into Baker & Cook for a morning treat. All the baked goods looked so enticing and was happy to see they had tea & coffee. I ended up ordered one of their nutella filled donuts after seeing all the rave reviews. WOW! I also got a chai latte and couple of donut holes to nibble on as I waited. Everything tasted so good! So happy I stopped in to enjoy!

We had breakfast here today and had a great experience! The food was so good, the vibe was chill, and the coffee was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Service: prompt and delivered both food and drinks quickly. Food: the Nutella brioche donut was to die for! Dense, rich and FILLED with Nutella. You definitely need a coffee or beverage to enjoy alongside the donut. The turkey bagel breakfast sandwich was just okay in my opinion. The bagel was fine, but no flavors really stood out to me for the sandwich itself. Drink: my dirty chai was not that great. I almost wonder if I received the wrong drink. No chai spices were present and tasted more like a standard latte. My friend ordered a vanilla latte though and hers was delicious.

I might come back for their filled brioche donut, they look so good.

A random stop on my trip at Sonoma county. I found this place thanks to Yelp recommendation list of cafés to try at Sonoma. A small tranquil place with warm and well-made food.

Breakfast was great. Good coffee. Good pastries. Reasonable prices. The staff were kind. The back patio is a bit small and fine.

If you're planning to order to go: Baker and Cook is a cute, cozy café with delicious pastries and great breakfast options. We live just around the corner and have walked over several times--it definitely deserves five stars for the vibe alone. However, I'm giving it three stars because of a recent to go experience with their salmon bagel sandwich. I ordered it to-go and instead of receiving a sandwich, I got a deconstructed version: salmon, bagel, tomatoes, cream cheese, capers, and onions all packed separately in a box. I had to assemble it myself, which, if I'd wanted to build my own bagel, I would have just gone to the store and done that! What was even more confusing is that my wife's croissant sandwich came perfectly assembled and looked beautiful. So why did I have to play chef with mine? I hope this review helps the staff understand that we go to restaurants to get ready-to-eat meals. We tip to receive ready-to-eat meals. It would be nice to at least be notified in advance if a sandwich or dish is deconstructed for a reason. I'd love to return, and if things improve, I'm willing to change my review after another visit.

As for the ham and cheese croissant, we all agreed it was probably one of the best ham and cheese croissants we've had. They are super generous with their filling of ham and cheese, and they use a yummy mustardy sauce. It also comes with a little fruit! OK so why would I be torn about this place?! Well, unfortunately, every single drink we ordered was not good. My friend threw her coffee away after two sips. My other friend ordered the Matcha and it was powdery and bitter. I ordered the milk tea and it was completely watered down. I would not recommend getting a drink here. None of us finished our drink and this is coming from people who hate wasting food. But I 100% recommend their baked goods or food items and would be excited to try more of their offering dream dream dream

I also ordered an iced coffee, and while the flavor itself was really good, I was a little disappointed to find quite a bit of coffee grounds/sediment at the bottom of my cup. Once I got toward the bottom, it made the coffee taste pretty grainy and unpleasant. I went back and asked if they could remake it, and the staff was kind enough to do so. Unfortunately, the second coffee still had a small amount of grounds at the bottom. It was much less than the first one, so I decided not to go back for a third time. I'm not sure if this was just an issue with the batch or the way the coffee was prepared that day, but it was a little disappointing, especially from a bakery with Bouchon's reputation. Aside from that, the coffee itself tasted good, the macarons were delicious, and I'm glad we stopped in. I would definitely return for the pastries and macarons--I just hope the coffee preparation is a little better next time.

The service was pretty good, seated fast, pretty attentive with all the tables they had to serve. We ordered a traditional caramel macchiato (it is nothing like a Carmel macchiato that you are thinking of) and a matcha latte. They were pretty but lacking flavor. The Mach was very bitter, but I am sure that's the traditional version in a little bitty shot like glass -not my fave but I was trying to order stuff i wouldn't normally get. ‍ the matcha came in a giant mug, and it wasn't sweet at all and just kinda of plain. For food, we ordered the wagyu steak and eggs. It came with some interesting garlic herby potatoes, a piece of sourdough cut in half, scrambled eggs, 6 slim slices of beef and a little jam of some sort. We also asked for a side of their house made chili crunch. The steak was mediocre, the potatoes tasted a little weird. We enjoyed the bread and eggs the most. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. I'd come back and try other items. It is a very cute location.

I came in today to pick up a pie that I had ordered over the phone, and unfortunately, what should have been a simple pickup turned into an extremely disappointing experience. When I called to place my order, the person I spoke with told me the pie would be $35. However, when I arrived to pick it up, I was charged $45. My receipt clearly shows that I was charged $45 for a "Whole peach blackberry pie." I understand that prices can change or mistakes can happen, but if a customer is quoted one price when placing an order, any difference should at least be explained at pickup. To make matters worse is when I cut the pie, it was not the peach blackberry pie I had ordered. As shown in my second photo, what I received is an old fashioned Apple pie instead. So not only was I charged $10 more than the price I was quoted over the phone, I did not even receive the pie that I ordered and paid for. In addition, The person who was taking orders and working as the cashier was also extremely rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. I initially did not catch her name, but according to my receipt, the server/cashier was Kelly F. For identification purposes, she was a younger woman with extensive tattoos. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is now the third time I have encountered this same employee, and each time I have experienced the same rude and unfriendly demeanor. After three separate encounters, it is difficult to simply chalk it up to someone having a bad day. There was no sense of friendliness, professionalism, or basic customer service during my interaction with her. Anyone working directly with customers should understand that the way customers are spoken to and treated reflects directly on the business. At this point, I genuinely feel that the business owner should consider assigning her to a position in the back where she does not have to interact directly with customers. If customer service is not her strength, having her at the front interacting with customers reflects poorly on the business and can leave people with a negative impression regardless of the quality of the food. Between being quoted $35, charged $45, receiving the wrong pie, and once again experiencing rude customer service, this entire experience was unacceptable. After three encounters with the same type of customer service, I finally felt it was necessary to leave a review. Management really needs to address this. Based on my experience, I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed it.

That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. Good, but not the showstopper I was expecting. Brussels Sprouts - These were really good! Perfectly roasted with lots of flavor. Spicy Sweet Chili Wings - THE STAR OF THE SHOW! These were hands down the best thing we ordered. Crispy, sticky, sweet with just the right amount of heat...absolutely delicious! I'd honestly come back just for these. Clam Chowder - Creamy, comforting, and a nice starter. Bacon Cheeseburger - A solid burger that definitely hit the spot. My only real complaint? The wings. Not the flavor--the portion size. For $20, I think the order should include at least 8-10 wings. You get six (the sixth one is hiding under the garnish in my photo ), and one of them was noticeably smaller than the others. They were so good that I just wished there had been more! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the charming atmosphere, friendly service, and those unforgettable wings, I'd definitely come back again. Years ago, this was our go-to stop in Sonoma for wine and cheese tastings, incredible sandwiches, BBQ, and browsing a lively marketplace. It always felt busy and full of energy. This visit was a completely different experience. The store felt sparse, the cheese selection was much smaller than we remembered, there were no cheese samples, and we couldn't find their own branded cheeses that we used to love. We stopped in to grab lunch on our way home. The sandwich menu is now limited, and you can no longer build your own. We ordered two sandwiches, and while they were decent, they didn't justify the high price. There is still both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, but the overall experience felt like a shadow of what made this place so special.
