Dropped by Ashburn to try out Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen for brunch. We started with the biscuits and sweet butter, OMG just like a Cinnabon. Loved it. They do sell full size Bons for those that can need the sugar rush. I ordered the Pastrami hash with two eggs easy over which was great, next time I'll try the pastrami sandwich. Service was great and the restaurant was new and super clean. Highly recommended.

We just had the best chicken and waffles from Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen! The chicken was seasoned well, light and crunchy, with the perfect waffle to accompany it. We also had the hash browns, very delish! It's a very laid back vibe with a pretty big bar as soon as you enter. Apparently we weren't the only ones impressed by the chicken and waffles, I saw several being taken to other customers. One thing the staff should make certain to do, is clean the restrooms regularly. When I used the facilities, I could see it needed a good scrub! Other than that, we enjoyed our meal. The wait wasn't long and our server, Lauren, did a great job. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be certain to check the pizza out here. Looks great!

The food here is SO BAD. Perhaps if you like your food unseasoned, bland, and not cooked right, you will enjoy. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict. The EGG WHITES were raw. I love runny yolk, don't get me wrong, but there's runny yolk, and then there's just a raw egg with liquid egg whites. Okay, whatever, I'll eat around it, and then BOOM the soggiest untoasted English muffin I've ever had. The texture was like baby food I couldn't eat it without wanting to gag. The biscuits and gravy were just as bad. The "gravy" tasted like watery milk. No flavor at all like literally the only seasoning visible in it is black pepper and maybe a few CRUMBS of sausage. The biscuit was even worse. That thing was rock hard and felt like chewing styrofoam mixed with Play-dough.

Visited Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen this morning for the first time for Brunch (they only serve breakfast/brunch on weekends) - I believe until 2:00 pm. The place was pretty busy when I arrived around 11:00 am-ish. I opted to sit at the bar. After looking over the menu - I decided to try the "Baltimore Benedict," which is a Benedict with crab meat. I assumed it was going to be a crab cake - but that was not the case - it's a small quantity of crab on English muffins, topped with poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce and a dusting of Old Bay. I also added a side of bacon - because BACON - and a glass of water. The dish comes with breakfast potatoes. When the food came out - I observed there was no crab cake - only loose crab meat. The Benedict tasted delish - but I was hoping for more crab meat. The breakfast potatoes were cut smaller - thus they were crispy - which is a plus. The bacon was damn tasty. Note that this restaurant charges a fee of 3.5% - which will appear on your bill as a line item of "ADJ FEE," - which I think means "Adjustment." The fee is on there instead of them reprinting the menus each time prices go up - the fee is to deal with with rising food and other costs. They have a notice about this posted in several places around the restaurant - but given that I entered with an uncaffeinated brain - I totally missed seeing/reading the notice. Service was a little slow in terms of the bartender getting over to me - given I was sitting at the bar - I could have sat at a table and probably gotten swifter service - but I was not in a hurry. #BakersCrustArtisanKitchen

Such a great spot to grab a bite to eat and catch up with a friend. They have all kinds of specials too! Happy hour till 6PM, $5 off Burgers on Wednesdays, and half off pizzas on Thursdays! Check their website out with all specials listed. The weather was perfect to sit outside, they had live music, our waitress was a peach, and our food/beverages were delicious! 10/10 recommend Bakers Crust.

Great restaurant where you can bring your dog if eating on the patio. Yummy good and friendly prompt service. PS not sure why it's saying closed when it's open

No way, another superb breakfast joint located right in my neck of the woods -- in the heart of the Ashburn area! As soon as I came here and saw the "Habit Burger Grill" sign, I knew I'd swung by here at least twice before, but for some reason I totally missed that this place even existed!! I say, what a happy surprise. Totally worth it. Overly generous parking lot up front, clear of reserved parking spots as far as the eye can see. Smooth sailing here is the understatement of the year, no doubt. Iconic storefront, will archive it in my mind forevermore -- next to the overly colorful Habit Burger sign! I came by entirely on a whim, and totally it was not a "swing and a miss" in any sense of the term. Arrived a little after 11 on a Tuesday morning, close to the store opening times. Arrived and promptly requested for "dine in". And equally as promptly, I was seated in the room adjoining the forward-facing one. Drinks were up first on the board, so I asked for fruit juices and then narrowed the choice to Orange Juice (OJ). It is not fresh made, the waitress stated as such, but relatively well priced so I called it a steal of sorts. I'd read solid reviews on the breakfast fare, so I made a beeline for the "Swanky Egg Benedict" that came with chicken, biscuits, and poached egg, without any hesitation at all. I snapped photos of the surrounding area, my glass of OJ, and my hat, since I was still soaking in the splendor of the late-morn ambience. Well, that and I realistically had nothing better to do. OJ was pretty decent, nothing to draft a long, painstakingly handwritten note to inevitably mail home and all, but a solid hitter on a mid-league team all the same. The main course arrived, and *my, oh my* what a "Swanky" Benedict indeed! Enough to tip your hat at in any case -- if I was still wearing mine, that is. The hash browns were just the right size to "fork" up, and we're hands-down one of the best I've ever had. Crispy and salted to enjoyment. The SB (open-faced biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, poached egg, and hollandaise) was beyond incredible and exceeded my wildest expectations. Safe to say it is assuredly the best Eggs Benedict I've had in my (young but not so young) life. Wowza! All of it was flavorful and tantalized my taste buds. My favorite part of it was the (not overly-runny) yolk of the poached-just-right egg, mixed with the fried chicken and the affirming hardness of the biscuit. It tasted *just* right. My one gripe, the bacon sort of overpowered the (otherwise enjoyable) taste of chicken and egg. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing. All in all, incredible spot for breakfast or brunch. The chef who cooked my SB dish was a culinary genius, by my liberal estimation. Hats off to her/him! Everyone there was kind and welcoming as a general rule of thumb, which was also great. I snapped photos of their weekly specials -- and nope, I have not tried their lunch or dinner menu! Looking forward to it though. I'll definitely be back. For breakfast, at least once more -- to sample a novel offering on the menu!

The place is cleanly and not too overly crowded. The environment is cozy and has great brunch vibes. I got a lox bagel sandwich and it came out very quick! The hash browns are crispy and delicious, and the bagel sandwich was as expected. Wish it came with a little bit of cream cheese, but I could have asked for that as well. We also got the original cinnamon bun and it was delicious. Will come again!

Came here on a Saturday night to grab one of my favorite dessert from here. My boyfriend ordered the Cookie Skillet with Ice Cream. The cookie is always cookies just perfectly, super soft and chewy. Topping it off with ice cream and it's the ultimate perfect dessert. The service was quick and friendly, had us in and out!

So the name threw me off. We stopped in one morning thinking we'd grab a morning muffin or croissant and found out this is something else. So the breakfast was decent. The place served lunch and dinners. Great happy hour prices on beers wine and select appetizers. The one that got my attention was the Thursday night $8 pizza and select $5 beers. Stopped out for that and there are $5 happy hour beers till 6. Tried the pizza. It's a Neapolitan style pizza which was good... it had a softer chewier crust and a slightly sweeter sauce. I liked it. So traditionally the sauce is made with San Marzano tomato or Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio ( found that out from other Neapolitan pizza joints), the sweetness made the pizza for me. Also the pepperoni was really tasty. I'll be back to try another one, hoping the fennel sausage flavor is delicious. They had other foods and plenty of wine and beer selections on tap. Really cool place. The bartender Zac was really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Overall Great atmosphere, great happy hour and decent specials on key nights. Great neighborhood bar.

Guess I'm officially done with this place. Year ago I complained about the fruit fly problem here. Last night, no fruit flies. Not much else going on either. I remembered their food being better. Last night I had a sausage and onion pizza, it was okay. Not warm enough, and the flavor was just okay. Two single pizzas, 2 bar drinks, $72. With my Ashburn options I need more than okay.

The cozy atmosphere, stone hearth, and warm decor make it the perfect place for a date night, a special occasion, or just a great evening out. The food is outstanding. The crab dip, the housemade pasta, and the burger are all incredible -- clearly made with real care and quality ingredients. The cocktails are equally impressive and keep pace with the food perfectly. The variety of seating -- dining room, lounge, patio, rooftop, and fire-pit areas -- means there's a perfect spot for any vibe, whether you want something intimate and quiet or lively with live music on the weekends. Service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience felt genuinely special without being stuffy. This place has become my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting the area. It projects an English modern cabin vibe, but with a touch on whimsy (see mustache coat hangers on booths!). The fireplace is centrally located and gives off an essence of coziness. Complimenting the ambiance, the service was great! The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. We came for brunch and ordered the breakfast burger and pork belly breakfast sandwich. We also split the avocado toast as a starter (we were starving!). The avocado toast was perfectly prepared - toast was cripsy on the outside and chewy and thick on the inside. Ample smattering of smashed avocado with the fixin's. The burger was very good and my friend said they would totally order it again. The pork belly breakfast sandwich held together perfectly despite the inside being heavy. Pork belly remained perfectly crunchy and it had a heavy helping of melted cheese that was not overpowering. Brunch was amazing and we want to go back and experience the patio when it's warmer and also some live music! Such a great vibe and good food!

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing was superb. Definitely recommend having them pair your wines. The grilled shrimp was a great start. The sparkling rose made the shrimp taste even better. The goat cheese ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish of the evening. The sweet sage-maple syrup-tomato sauce was fantastic. The Sancerre was pleasant with it, although I thought the ravioli itself was more impressive than the pairing. I had to order bread so the sauce wouldnt go to waste. I ordered the lamb medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium, and initially it was somewhat underseasoned. After adding salt and pepper and getting some of the thyme from the plate into the bite, the lamb became significantly better and worked better with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The creamed spinach underneath was delicious on its own, but I didn't enjoy it with the wine. Interestingly, the absolute highlight of that wine pairing was the braised garlic. The sweet, mellow garlic and Châteauneuf-du-Pape were wonderful together. Dessert was the highlight of the entire pairing. The lavender ice cream was outstanding, the Chantilly surrounding it was light and delicious, and the strawberry sauce wasn't overly sweet. The Sauternes was excellent with the dessert, particularly with the fresh strawberry. This was the pairing where the food and wine truly made each other better. Even though I was one of the last diners of the evening, I never felt rushed. My server was very attentive and social which I love. It was very romantic and yet comfortable enough that dining alone wasnt awkward. I'd happily return.

We were here for a birthday meal for my husband, which we noted on the reservation. The good: Service, while not great, was ok. She asked if we were here for anything in particular and I mentioned his birthday (which in many places, they would have known from the notation on the reservation, but again, this was not something that bothered me in particular.) The rest: First, the food. Our appetizers were on the "specials": a watermelon salad and crab stuffed squash blossoms. The watermelon was good overall, but with the current issue of cyclospora outbreak, we probably would have picked something else if the menu had noted that one of the ingredients was arugula. I realize that this is just us being overly cautious but it would have been good to know in advance. The squash blossom stuffing tasted more like tuna than crabmeat. Edible but not that good. It got worse with entrees. Husband ordered the ribeye and I had the short rib. I was actually shocked to see that steak: it was SO thin. Wish I had thought to take a picture of it. Due to this, it was overcooked - almost impossible not to do so for such a thin piece of meat. A ribeye at Texas Roadhouse would have been superior to this, and probably half the price (it was criminal to charge $58 for this.) Also nowhere on the menu did it say that the seasoning in the steak was spicy. Again - would have ordered something else had he known that. Short rib was dry and the reduction sauce was overly salty. The goat cheese potato puree that accompanied both tasted good but there was so little of it that it was more of a suggestion of a side than an actual side. We skipped dessert and asked for the check, which took a long time to arrive. Eventually the waitress arrived, apologized for the wait, and set down an empty plate with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup with a birthday candle. Huh??? Either give some kind of dessert or don't bother! We would have rather had no acknowledgement than this waste of time and dirtying a plate. To be clear - we weren't looking for a free dessert; we were ready to go and would have ordered something if we wanted it. But this is just weird. I'm sorry to see this place go downhill. It is overpriced and lacking in the quality that it had in past years.

I assume the kid's meal coming out late was an awful server mistake, I can't imagine it would take over an hour to make a burger and fry up some potatoes. The chef was nice enough to let us order the octopus from the tasting menu (it was the only reason we came here, didn't realize it was part of the tasting). I almost did order the 5 course tasting menu, because it looked really good- but I'm so thankful I didn't. The table behind us was seated before us and by the time we left he was only on his third course. I'm also always cold but it was really warm in the restaurant. Not sure if their ac was broken or if it couldn't keep up with the weather. Not knocking the restaurant for this, things happen. But they probably could've used another few fans. We were the one table in the middle so the air wasn't getting to us. Not knocking the restaurant at all for this, it's a hot hot summer and things like this happen. The kid's meal portion was huge, actually bigger than my gnocchi order. We also ordered the brussels, pork ribs, seared tuna, tagliatelle, branzino, and pork chop. The pork chop was the most memorable thing. Based on this experience we wouldn't come back here on our own. We wouldn't rule it out though- if someone wanted to go here with us for any reason, we would consider giving it another shot.
