Yummy! Apple fritter and raspberry jam donuts were really good. Maple was good. Cruller was solid, not great.

Best donuts in the triangle hands down. This place is not an overhyped influencer spot. Just great donuts, great price, great people.

Early Bird Donuts is a small donut shop that offers donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and other…read morepastries. They have the standard types of donuts (glazed, chocolate frosted, vanilla frosted, strawberry frosted, fritters, filled, etc.) Most of the filled donuts are filled to order as you can choose from different types of custard or fillings (Bavarian, white, strawberry, etc.) The donuts are fairly good and for the most part pretty good the only issue is that they run out pretty early. The apple fritters here are massive. They aren't the greatest (I prefer a more crispy outside and doughy inside with lots of apples) but the size alone makes it worth it. The only problem is they sell out really fast so if you're not there before a certain time you'll be SOL. I haven't tried the savory breakfast options but they do look fairly good. The service can range from good to not so great as sometimes you do feel ignored or you feel like you're troubling the staff be being there. I like how they have a retro Street Fighter 2 arcade inside that you can play for free. There is seating inside and a few tables outside. I would go more often but if I can't get there before say 8a - 9a I probably wouldn't bother.

Then I saw incredible list of biscuit, had to have one of those too, cheese, egg, bacon, was incredible. Donut was some kind of maple, really delicious, warm and soft. Will be back

I understand everyone is understaffed but just adjust your expected ready time online to set expectations. We've also had several unfriendly servers who make you feel like you're imposing on them / it's your fault when they bring out wrong food. Mr and Mrs Meddis - please improve your operations, it's a bummer to no longer visit your establishment.

The food is creative, comforting, and full of bold flavors -- you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The dumplings are delicate and perfectly seasoned, the handmade noodles have great texture, and the desserts are absolutely incredible (don't skip them!). I came here for the first time and ordered a steamed meat bun, the winter sweet potato salad, the House Iced Jasmine Tea and for dessert I got the citrus upside down cake. The food and dessert were fantastic, but the jasmine tea was not my favorite, but that does not mean it was bad. It was just not my favorite flavor. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting, and everything is clearly made with love. Whether you're out for a casual dinner or a special night with friends, you can't go wrong with Rose's. By the way, the restroom is beautiful and clean. The only small issue is parking. There is no street parking, but there is a public paid parking lot about a block from it. Overall, highly recommend!

When I order a box, I order it plain and then add my own fixings at home. My box creations can make up to three meals. I've begun adding my own fixings to their biscuits too. I'm pleased with Rise's pricing, regular coupon offers for loyalty members, and a reward point system that's easy to track. They've recently sent out coupons in those coupon clipper mailers and I found they carry great value. This Rise location (like their location in Chapel Hill) caters primarily to takeout clients. There are some bar tables and outdoor patio seats if you want to eat on site. I'm a takeout client myself (as I hinted above) and prefer building on top of what I order. Rise's biscuits can't be beat. They are flaky, fluffy, and reheat well. My tips for reheating: - Microwave: Lightly sprinkle water on the open faces of your biscuit (not the hard crust) and cover before microwaving. - Air fryer: Use the "Reheat" setting and reheat your biscuit at 325º for 4-5 minutes.
