I am hooked just even after 1 visit here! They don't make them like this (classic donuts) anymore! There must be witchery in these because they're just incredibly fresh, soft, melts-in-your-mouth kind of goodness. Don't walk, run to get your donuts from here!

came here at 6:30 am to quickly pick up a dozen donuts and was helped immediately! the person working was very nice and attentive! the selection of donuts was pretty basic, they had all the classic flavors and styles with one or two unique ones! there is no seating inside if anyone was planning on eating there, but it's located in a large complex with lots of restaurants and grab and go eating places that you can walk around in!

Glazed, maple, bacon, and cinnamon roll Yum!

All I have to say is..... AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Love how fluffy and tasty their donuts are. Employee who helped me today with my order was super friendly. This was my first time coming into Baker's Dozen and I can tell they keep the place nice and tidy. Will definitely be back again

Fantastic customer service, huge variety, and delicious donuts, what else is there to say? Try the cronut. See photo for the variety we picked this morning.

The sweet, delicious smell of fresh donuts gifs as soon as you open the door. The guy working was super friendly and patient while we were slowly deciding what donuts to surprise my grandma with in her birthday - we ended up with some apple fritters, old fashioned glazed and chocolate, peanut, crumb, and crueler. The Apple fritter was massive with lots of apples and glaze with the right crisp. The old fashioned and crumb were close seconds. These were delicious!

Small neighborhood donut shop. Prices went up but that's not news. Portion sizes shrunk. Donuts used to be a regular treat now it's a rare treat. This is more of a traditional donut shop where each donut is good. Not one will disappoint but when you have a hot cup of coffee to accompany, it can be pretty good.

Delicious and fresh donuts. I had three donuts in one go ... hehe ... Soft, fluffy, and consistent texture inside each donut. The glaze on the donuts has a pleasant flavor of vanilla.

I was craving donuts and I arrived around 6:40 am. I was the only customer. They were really nice and greeted me. I got a dozen donuts. I last minute added the chocolate custard donut (which was the reason I chose to go here!). He also added some donut holes. As you pay, they wipe your card clean for you. I will definitely be returning here. Some of my favorites are the chocolate custard donut, crumble donut, the apple fritter, and the maple buttermilk bar. My younger sister's favorite was the cinnamon roll, glazed twist donut, apple fritter, all glazed donuts, and the maple bar. I would recommend the chocolate if you are craving chocolate. I had the donuts sitting out for 4 days and the apple fritter was still moist and crunchy!

    My girlfriend enjoying the donuts

So good ESPECIALLY the cronuts omg just amazing super nice owners we try to go at 5am to get the best selection because people love em so much then go fast. Baked fresh daily and it shows. The absolute best out of all the donut places anywhere around. AMAZING cronuts, maple and chocolate bars, old fashioned with nuts and coconut so good. Other old fashioned chocolate in corner as well as bacon maple and sprinkle chocolate all amazing lasted about not even a day

    To go donuts!

We came here for a recent Friday morning donut day- tradition and this place is next to our home, so we figured we'd check it out. This place definitely respected the 6 feet social distancing guidelines... everyone waited patiently to be served. There were signs of closed dining, and the staff made sure that there was only one customer in the store at a time. The staff was super sweet and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and simple. The staff practiced great protective wear while serving customers. I was so happy to support local businesses like this. The section was wide, pretty much every donut was available. There is a coffee and drink menu. We ordered a bag of donut holes, a chocolate bar, and a pink round with fun sprinkles. My kids were definitely happy and satisfied. We definitely suggest coming here!

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!

Still had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restaurant is very large and split into sections. We were seated at a tall table with tall chairs in the bar area. Not very comfortable if you plan to stay a bit and talk or enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was noisy and the more alcohol served, the louder it became. I'm not a morning drinker (don't drink at all anymore actually) but the sparkling wine and champagne menu was very impressive. Lots of choices and ways to flavor your beverage if you like it fruity. Mimosa House is the name of the place afterall and they offer about 30 different flavors. The menu is HUGE. An actual book of pages and pages of breakfast & brunch items. I must have changed my mind 100 times while trying to decide whether to have breakfast or lunch. Our waiter was nice enough and must have thought we were all OK enough for him to drop a few F-bombs while tending to our table. I wasn't offended but a few at our table commented on it. Everyone at our table chose breakfast items, from strawberry French toast to chorizo skillets. I was the odd one and had the Mimosa House Club ($22): It had the third layer of bread which no one takes time with anymore but the "house spread," a cream cheese layer they add was just not right. Lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon, sliced turkey, & shaved ham were good on the grilled sourdough but I wouldn't order again unless the cream cheese was removed. It was served with fries but I subbed a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of vegetarian options and even the Kid's menu was decent. Some gluten-free options too. Parking can be hard. All street with nothing directly out front and handicapped spots nearby is sparse. No stairs or steps inside or outside but it is tight and cramped inside the restaurant. They have nice patio seating and I might have chosen that if I were the one making the reservation. Overall a nice place for breakfast & drinks.

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.
