I will say it looked like the owner was there while my food was prepped so maybe that increased the quality but I did not mind. My only complaint and the result of my rating is due to the employees lack of changing gloves and being sanitary. I've had it with this location. If you like tacos that are full of grease, this is the place for you. Two weeks in a row and 3 times within a month, these are the tacos I received from the drive thru. I don't have time to go into the restaurant to try and get a refund. I've addressed this specific issue before both with their corporate office and the manager of the store. I love Baker's, but this location does not drain their grease or use a slotted spoon or whatever to eliminate grease from the meat. I've rarely experienced this at other locations. This Bakers is the worst Bakers I have experienced in my opinion. Bakers definitely does not check Yelp and see the consistent one star reviews posted here. My biggest problem is their drive-thru. I've had to stop at this Bakers for food on multiple dates for over 7 years and I cannot get out of the drive thru in under 10 minutes no matter what time of day (and that's with one or two cars ahead of me)! My last visit, I actually timed it and with 4 cars ahead of me I ended up being there for 31 minutes when I received my food!!! This is not acceptable Bakers!! The food quality isn't as good as others but by the end of the line, I just don't care and want to leave with something to eat. The multiple people I've seen working the window are not very friendly like other locations, so I'm not quite sure what their internal problems are, maybe store management ?? I'm a glutton for punishment as this Bakers is the closest location to me but I'm at the point where I will just drive farther now as I have given them way too many chances. On our way to Lake Arrowhead, a group of friends and I came here for a quick bite to eat. It was in the evening and we decided to eat inside. It was empty inside, most people used the drive thru here. There were quite a few employees at the register and in the kitchen though. Most of my friends got burgers, but I decided to go for the carnitas quesadilla that was posted outside. It wasn't on their regular menu, but they had a big poster in their window outside that advertised it so I wanted to try it out. We all got our food at different times, even though we ordered one after the other. Most people were finished with their food by the time I got mine. the kitchen seemed busy, so service was kinda slow. I also got a side of salsa with my quesadilla. It was a pretty big quesadilla. The tortilla was super crispy and there was a lot of carnitas in there. Probably more than cheese. The carnitas were ok, super meaty and very salty. The cheese was nice and melted.
