When this restaurant first opened I was extremely happy with the pub style Fish n Chips I ordered, it was a few thick pieces of cod fish that was made with a crunchy PUB STYLE coating. Crisp, fresh and crunchy with every bite. Yesterday I was looking forward to having the same pub style Fish n Chips I had in the past and was beyond disappointed. Not sure if it was a chef error or new change in menu, but what I received was a few lightly coated pieces of what appeared to be tilapia. It was HOT but did not taste freshly fried, soggy and thin in the middle,it had no crunch, soft in texture and no seasoning. It appeared to be the fish that would be used for fish tacos but not the pub style fish n Chips I was looking forward to. I was also very disappointed in the Mac n Cheese (served w a spoon stuck in the middle of small bowl), Mac n cheese appeared to be boiled macaroni, put in a bowl,loaded w cheese and then microwaved, not sure if thats how it was done but thats how it tasted.Bland, boring. The food was great! The portions were big and I ended up taking the rest to go (a plus for me hehe). I got the teriyaki chicken and my sides were loaded mashed potatoes + garlic fries. The chicken and the glaze were actually really good, and the mashed potatoes were my favorite! So flavorful. Friendly fun staff from when they greet you to when they wait on you! Now the food was great! My wife ordered the Menudo because that's her thing! We both are picky with our Menudo! This one was really good! The rich broth the tender tripe delicious! A little skimpy on the condiments but it comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Also ordered the Avocado Toast but not worth the price so I had to knock a star. I ordered the Huevos Divorsiados (Divorced Eggs with a side of bacon) it's two eggs one on each side one with red sauce and one with green sauce with beans and rice to "keep them separated" ha ha only certain people will know why I put quotes :-)) Both sauces had perfect heat! Had brunch at this restaurant on Saturday, with hubby. Their menu says "Breakfast all day," so I ordered the chicken fried steak with sunny eggs over-easy. I wanted the country style potatoes as advertised in the photo. Disappointingly, I was told that they don't make them after 11AM. I ended up choosing tatertots for my starch and the coffee cake. Our server was Leanna. She was pleasant, friendly, and desrves all 5 stars. However, I'm rating an overall 3 based on the food only. The country fried steak was a bit overcooked and needed every bit of its gravy. Their fries were my favorite part of the entire meal. Had high hopes for this place because I seen that a new steak house had opened up, then I started seeing there breakfast online as well. We wanted diner food but it was already late afternoon (2pm) so my mom remembered they were open now. We came and so happy we did! Jim was our server he was great :) The restaurant is a good size lots of seating. Looks like big parties can be accommodated also. The menu is really big and even on the lunch menu they have a breakfast all day section! Good prices as well. I got the pancake combo and my mom got the fish and chips but substituted fries for fruit. Everything was really delicious. Our waitress was sweet and took our order quickly and since it was our first time, we asked for recommendations and went with them. It tasted as though it had a little zestive citrus. That kind of threw us off, but it also tasted pretty good! Overall, the food may have been mediocre, but this service was amazing. The food and service is horrible. Took over 45 minutes to receive our food, to only have an incorrect order. Steak was raw on the outside but overdone on the inside. Could not even chew it if I tried. Waitress could care less manager was very nice about fixing it. Waitress took back the food and then brought back just sides while I waited another 15 minutes for a new order to come of something else to not even remake the sides, but the manager went ahead and did. Did not charge for the steak, but went ahead and charge for the second meal that took so long to get there. We definitely will not be back here. Their macaroni is the right amount of seasonings and cheese while their fries are exquisite. The BBQ Tips are really tender no need to try and hurt your teeth trying to bite off really dry meat. This was my first time dining at Woody's. Right when we walked in we loved the atmosphere and felt so welcomed by beautiful Ty. Ty was very attentive and so sweet. The food was excellent!! We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast, and the Woodys Breakfast Special. Both dishes were so yummy and the portion size was perfect. I forgot to take a picture of our breakfast but did get a picture of their delicious coffee cake. Because it was our first time at Woodys, beautiful Ty gave it to us complimentary.
