I love baker's it my fav especially with their vegetarian options. Tonight I was serviced by a employee named Valerie who treated me with horrible service. Just thought I'd mention it in case anybody goes to this location. I had a question about the pricing and why she overcharged me on their deal of the day (which are great). She began to get very hostile when I inquired about why I was overcharged so then she decided to just slam the drive-thru window in my face. I knocked on the window and she ignored me again and suddenly became very surprisingly good at her job when I asked for her manager Noemi. Valerie seems to be very unhappy in her job. This isn't in the first time I've had bad customer service at this location just thought I'd give everybody a heads up before you head to this location. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow to see if they can re-train Valerie and how to treat people in customer service so no one else has to experience what I did tonight. Just a heads up. I went through the drive thru around 11pm on a Saturday and ordered three tacos and large fries. I was kind of shocked when my total came to $7 and had to wait 20 minutes to order and get my food with only 2 cars ahead of me. When I think of fast food, I expect speed and low prices. For $1.60 a taco, I can get a better quality taco from a food truck or even Mexican restaurant. Also, the large order of fries was quite small, but after eating a piece I didn't mind because they weren't good. It wasn't crispy and needed more salt. I think Baker's is my favorite burger place. Too bad they're only in the Inland Empire. Or maybe it's a good thing, because I would go there way too often if there was one closer. Luckily my job sometimes sends me to San Bernardino, so I always stop at this one because it's on the way home. The burgers are amazingly good. Like, I never knew burgers could be this good. They're like cheesy bits of heaven in my mouth. And even the fries are great, making it one of the few burger places that has good burgers AND fries (usually it's one or the other). In-N-Out-style burgers (but better than In-N-Out) and McDonald's-style fries. Why go anywhere else? The service is great, too. The servers are soooo polite. Almost too polite. Last time I was there, I almost felt like a general surveying his troops, the way they treated me. Baker's provides customers with the options of getting a good old fashioned cheeseburger, along with some classic Mexican style foods such as tacos and burritos. They are also known for their amazing hand dipped milkshakes. In California, Baker's has been known to ruffle the feathers of even big time fast food icons such as In- N- Out Burger, and even 5 Guys Burger and Fries. I give Baker's 5 out of 5 stars. I am so impressed with this company because of the great food and the great service. I would love to suggest that they expand their chain and branch off towards the Midwest, however, that would be taking away some of its genuine authenticity. read more

We have been wanting to try this place for years! And today we finally did on our way back home. We walked in and its a prettt small building. But still tables to sit at for dine in meals. I ordered the vegetarian taco and bean and cheese burrito (no meat today for Lent) and the hubby ordered a chicken sandwich carribean style. We waited a bit and when our food came it was on! The vegetarian taco was pretty good. The fake meat was tastey. To me you cant go wrong with a hard shell taco although i didnt care for the beans (i didnt know it came with beans). The bean and cheese burrito was eh...nothing spectacular. Tasted like any old bean and cheese burrito. The hubby said his sandwich was okay. Nothing special as well. The sevice was good. Gotta go to Baker's when you are in the I.E. With lots of locations, they are easy to find pretty much anywhere in SB county and Riverside. The vegetarian options are great. They recently expanded the veggie menu to more locations (think its 15 now) so be sure to check your local Baker's menu or ask them if they have the veggie menu yet. With tvp tacos and burritos, boca burgers, quesadillas and grilled cheese, there are so many options. As a vegan I order a bean & cheese burrito ( no cheese), or a bean and rice burrito (no sauce), or a tostada (no cheese). They have a "make it big" option that adds lettuce, tomato and sour cream, I sometimes get a burrito "made big" hold the sour cream. So many options! The best think about Baker's is cleanliness. They are consistently clean, organized and appealing. Baker's takes care in maintaining the exterior as well as the interior. During slow hours you can usually spot a worker doing some type of cleaning or maintenance outside. Next time you visit check out the care put into plants and keeping a clean appearance outdoors, not many fast food places do this. The workers seem genuinely happy to be there. They are usually young, yet professional and very friendly. I luv it when they suggest ways to get cheaper food with meal deals. The deals are great at Baker's. Lots of promotions online with weekly coupons and facebook friends coupons (free items!). Also they have meal deals and regular low prices. read more

This Bakers is clean and the people are friendly. My go to at Bakers is the Taco Burger, which is just awesome. Today, I went outside my comfort zone and tried a Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich. I wasn't expecting a chicken patty (as I was expecting a Chicken breast); but the meat was very flavorful. I'd order it again. I went to Bakers today. I ordered the single baker budget meal (picture on menu shows a single baker is a cheeseburger) I told the cashier that the cheese was missing on my burger, a rude manager came to the window and said that the budget single baker meal is a hamburger (cost is $5.49 + tax) I asked her what was the difference between the budget single baker and hamburger were. She said that the hamburger is just meat and bun. So I paid an additional $2.00 for lettuce and sauce. Not to mention the patty is so thin and tiny. There's more meat on a Mcdonald's kids meal burger than this. Definitely will be my last time visiting this location not due the the incorrect description on the menu but for the rude manager. read more

Baker's is THE BEST. Quality ingredients, good prices, clean locations... definitely my favorite fast-food option. You can go to any Baker's and be happy and satisfied. This isn't news to anyone who has been there. But the reason I am writing is to talk about this particular location. I have family that lives in RIverside/San Bernardino. Every time we go visit them, visiting Baker's is a must. Lately we have been frequenting this one on Washington. The employees there are AWESOME. My family and I visit this location less than once a month, and yet they remember us, ask how we're doing, etc... They often even remember what we like to order! They are the nicest, most respectful and helpful employees ever! We love Baker's food, but the employees' attitudes make it even more of a pleasure to go there. read more

Bakers has the best strawberry shake for the best value. The seating area was clean, the servers were courteous and friendly. The food was good and served quickly. What more can you ask for in a at good "joint". And when it was time to close the dining area the staff did not disturb our conversation. I'm not super fond of Bakers as it is, but of course the one time we actually do come here the cashier is beyond rude to us. She said the drink wasn't included when it clearly said on the breakfast menu that a soft drink was included. She's an older lady so we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she brings our food to the table and throws it on the table? We said "thank you" and she goes "yep"??? Really??? Fast food last resort. I would only eat here if nothing else was open. You will love this place if you like food with no taste or sloppy fast food mexican.
