Went to order a double burger and the 2 bean and cheese burrito's w/fries and drink. First of all the help there seemed more interested in carrying on their all important conversation while I waited and waited and waited ( you get the point) to even pay. When I was handed my food and drove away I reached in my bag to have a couple of fries which were obviously from yesterday's old grease....brown, limp and cold. The burritos were thrown together and looked like they had been sitting around from another order that they finally got rid of. I am speaking of the 15 years being a local you asked for extra ice, to get no ice. You asked for a burger, you get a chicken sandwich. You asked for no lettuce, you get lettuce. You asked for no tomato, you get tomato. An egg taco with extra sauce, you do not get your extra sauce. Funny thing is the receipt shows what I ordered but my bag reflects a two year old packed it. Then they said oh looks like someone switched it in the back I waited 30 minutes before I gave up and the lady just refunded me saying she can't figure out why it keeps giving sweet tea out of the unsweetened tea dispenser. Go at least once a week. I grew up with In-N-Out and love their burgers, but when I moved to Yucaipa 25 years ago I discovered Baker's. I actually like Baker's burgers a little better. When we travel into California, one the must stop at places we have is Bakers, my kids love bakers, when we moved out to Arizona, they were all bummed because Phoenix does not have any Bakers out here. I have to say for a fast food place they make a pretty good bean and cheese burrito, get it with red sauce, you won't be disappointed! Since we have family nearby this location this is our go to stop, and have been going here for a couple of years now, and it's never let us down. Let me start by saying we were looking for an In N Out on our way home from Palm Springs, but couldn't find one and yelp recommend Bakers, so we stopped. Now it's definitely not an In N Out burger BUT it's a close second, I was not disappointed. Very similarly made with double patty, double cheese, lettuce and thousand island. Better make sure you get what you order when going through the drive-tru. Past couple time my order is wrong and don't notice until I'm on the freeway headed to work. This place used to be awesome. I am extremely upset with this location. I had ordered a beef burrito, and they gave me a bean burrito. I do not like their bean burritos I specifically wanted a beef burrito with green sauce and cheese, they could not fulfill that. I am upset and I hate that they cannot fulfill a simple order!!!!! This Baker's location seems to be lacking in customer service and management issues. How is it possible to not have meat or beans available when your menu consists of these 2 items? I have been through the drive-through at this Baker's about four times now and three of those times there were no meat or beans available for the power burrito that I ordered. Today was the same thing, and a lack of customer service at the drive-through window. I know that it is early but the majority of us going thru are on our way to work and grabbing something to eat. Driving through California on our way to Central California, we stopped at the Bakers Drive Thru in Yucaipa for a quick bite to eat and restroom break. Restaurant was clean, as were the bathrooms, thank you for that. My vegetarian family members were thrilled to see vegetarian options, such as tacos. We ordered our food with ease, price was reasonable for what you get, but the wait was a little long. Food was fresh and hot upon arrival. The vegetarians loved their items, as did the non-vegetarians. We ordered vegetarian tacos, bean and cheese burritos, a quesadilla, and fries. The fries are huge so we could have shared. All in all it was a good visit and we will definitely be back on our next trip to California! read more

The employees all seem to be very nice, but the size of the burritos are half the size they used to be "very small". The tacos are more like Del Taco's old 39 cent tacos. All portions are much smaller and greasy, but the consumer is paying a lot more for much lower quality. read more

I love this particular Bakers not only for it's "fine" dining but it's convenient location (exit Yucaipa Blvd. NORTH) off the 10 freeway. Not to mention the friendly staff they have at this location, I'm always greeted when walking in and asked "The usual?" If your on a budget, the "budget meals" menu items are the best bang for your buck. You can order a bean & cheese tostada, burger, OR a bean & cheese burrito w/fries and a drink for just under $4. I always order the burrito and it's delicious! It's better than some of the bean and cheese burritos I've tasted in my life. I once had an old couple come up to me, while eating, and ask me what I'm eating. I responded with "bean & cheese burrito." They were like "you make that burrito look so good the way your enjoying it." LMAO! Hahahahaha "it's delicious!" I said. If you've never tried Bakers I suggest you give it a try. I come to this Bakers on average 4 times a week. The line is usually super long and I understand with Covid, I began just putting in my order on my way home from work so I could pick it up without dealing with the drive-through. This was great except for the last three months the employees no longer park in the employee parking lot but instead take up the whole row in front of the doors, the first few times parking across the parking lot and walking was no big deal except for the last few weeks as the temperatures have began to get really cold and raining a few times- can the manager not suggest that the employees park on the opposite side of the parking lot so that customers have a few parking spots to use? I'm not saying the whole 10 parking spots up against the building but maybe reserve three or 4 for pick up orders only? Otherwise I'll have to be changing my order to in-n-out since I can run in and get food much faster without freezing to death waiting for them to answer the door in the rain- in-n-out employees park in 2nd&3rd row- they always have parking up against their building.... just a suggestion to keep repeat customers from leaving during this pandemic read more

I stopped after work today to pick up something quick for for dinner. There were only about six or seven cars ahead of me and I sat in the line for 40 minutes. This is the second time in a couple of weeks that this is happened to me. I'm confused as to why it takes 40 minutes to get something that's called fast food. When I finally moved up in the line and thought I was almost finished I found myself very disappointed again. At this point I was the third car in line to get my food. Little did I know The car at the food pick up window would have to wait 15 minutes to get their order. I thought they must have a really big order but when they finally received their food there was only one bag and two drinks. Whatever happened to fast food? I'm so disappointed in Baker service.
