This place has been on our to try list for a while now so we finally decided to try it. The interior of the restaurant was spacious, bright, and aesthetic. We ordered boba and the Tobango wings. Really delicious! I also appreciate places that have self serve kiosks because I don't feel rushed and can take my time looking through the menu. It did take a while for the food to be ready but it was delicious and worth the wait. Would recommend to anyone wanting boba and passion fruit chicken wings!

Must try the Che drink, our go to are D7 and D9 pretty much all of the drinks plus popcorn chicken (little on the spicy side) but still delicious. Quick and easy ordering system, drinks come out pretty quick too. Pretty clean, nice place to chill, hang out and enjoy a meal or two.

Purple Kow you have my heart! Friendly staff, delicious drinks, a big menu with a variety of drinks and snacks to choose from, and an ambiance that makes me want to bring my laptop and get some work done. My recent visit, I tried the black sesame milk tea (10/10!). I'm a big fan of black sesame and feel like the Northern California region / Sacramento area doesn't have a lot of places that have a black sesame menu item and if they do, it doesn't quite hit the spot. Purple Kow nailed it!

Got D5. Drink was really good but there was way too much ice. Staff was super nice and the vibe was fun. Great place to hangout with friends and chill.

There are a lot of boba options in Roseville off of Douglas but this is a really good spot! I usually don't get food when getting boba but their food here is good! I've gotten the salt and pepper nuggets with the spice. The spice is a different kind of hot but really good! Their drinks are made well here! The cashier is always so kind and always provides good recommendations! Cute little spot with a lot of seating!

Honestly, this is hands down the best boba shop I have ever visited. I will admit I do not drink boba very often, but I know what I like when it comes to flavors, and Purple Kow really impressed me. We ordered the Sweet Potato Fries, Taro Iced Tea, D3, and the Tobago Wings. One of the most underrated aspects of food is texture, and both the wings and fries nailed it. The Tobago Wings were juicy and tender on the inside with a perfectly crisp exterior that had a satisfying crunch. The sweet potato fries were a standout as well. Since they are usually hard to get crispy because of their high moisture content, Purple Kow coats them in a light layer of tempura batter, which makes all the difference. Be sure to try them with the plum powder seasoning. The salty-sweet combination on each crispy fry is absolutely addictive. And that was just the food. The drinks were equally impressive. We always try taro drinks at boba shops but usually find they are made with artificial ingredients that are overly sweet. Purple Kow uses real taro, and it shows. The flavor was rich, creamy, and not cloying. The staff let us know that their drinks run sweeter than most shops, so we went with 25 percent sweetness, and it was perfect, especially if you do not have a big sweet tooth. Their best seller, the D3 with jelly, boba, and caramel, was another highlight. It had a great balance of flavor and texture in every sip. On top of everything, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the entire experience even better. Put down your phone and go try Purple Kow. You will not regret it.

I'm so glad Purple Kow finally opened out here! I used to go to the one in San Francisco and always wished more boba spots would offer iced milk like they do, so this location was a big win for me! My go to order is the D2 (iced milk with egg pudding and boba). I usually get it 50% sweet in a split cup (extra $1.25), which is perfect for sharing with my daughter. Their "regular" is actually a big chubby cup, so you definitely get your money's worth. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the boba. It's chewy, but a little on the firm side instead of that soft, melt in your mouth texture I prefer. Food wise, their garlic fries are a must. They're thick, crispy, and come with ranch on the side. The popcorn chicken is huge, more like nugget or wing sized pieces. Some people might love that, but I personally prefer smaller bite sized ones. Overall, if you haven't tried this place yet, I'd highly recommend their iced milk. People give me a funny look when I say "skip the milk tea and just get iced milk," but trust me, it won't disappoint!!

5 stars for everything. I've been going here for a while now and have never had an issue. Staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu, shop is always clean and well-maintained, and my orders always come out quickly. Caleb is always super helpful and always introducing us to new drinks that we should try. I'm pretty picky but it ended up being good recommendations! I've managed to convince my friends to try it and we now declare this spot as having the best sweet potato fries! We stop by every time we hang out in Roseville or when coming back down from a trip up north. My usual (sometimes it's right and sometimes I just press a different button just because free will): Purple kow iced milk w/ coffee jelly + 80% sweetness. Honey green tea w/ lychee jelly + 80% sweetness. Tobango wings. Sweet potato fries.

Tucked inside a shopping center. Same great quality, fresh food and drinks as San Francisco location. The store is more spacious and clean. They have 2 kiosk that can take your order for convenience too.

We were introduced to this spot through a Yelp experience & enjoyed it enough to return. It's a cute, colorful, comfortable place with contemporary seating & decor inside. Outside in front, there are a few metal tables & chairs. We've been here on a weekday with only a few customers ordering at the counter, & also on a busy Saturday at 5p when it's been full inside with a line for the order screen. The staff is friendly & helpful. We're always greeted as soon as we enter. There is a large variety of tasty sounding flavor combos on the drinks menu & you can customize the levels of sweetness & ice. We like the D8 (chocolate flavored iced milk with pudding and boba) with 50% sweetness & less ice. It doesn't have a strong chocolate flavor, but it's yummy & tastes like melted ice cream. The boba texture is not my personal preference, a little too chewy at times, but still good. The pudding is silky soft. We've also gotten a Strawberry Slush for little one that was refreshing with the taste of fresh strawberry & still quite sweet even at 50% sweetness. Previously I had the F7 (Peach Oolong Tea Infused with Mango, Topped Green Tea Jelly & Mango Bits) at 50% sweetness, which was refreshing & good, but I would get 25% next time. We also tried the Salt & Pepper Chicken Nuggets, which we enjoyed. The bucket containers for food are too cute. A large sized drink cup fits in a standard car cup holder, but the shape of a regular cup is really large at the base, so don't plan on safely leaving with your still unfinished drink unless you have someone to hold onto it for you or have some way to stabilize it.

We were greeted immediately upon entrance (which I really appreciated). It's clean here with a simple decor. There is a counter you can order in person or use the kiosk on your own. There was a snack portion also, but we just opt for the drinks this time around, since we had already ate elsewhere prior. The boba was chewy and the drinks were flavorful. I was surprised how the milk tea tasted like vanilla ice cream (my 3 year old approved lol). The cups are more wide than tall, so it's a bit harder to put in your car's cup holder especially if you are taking your drinks to go. This was not my first time here and won't be my last.

First off, I VERY much enjoyed my drink. The flavor is something I personally have never seen before so not only was that super unique but it tasted just as good as it sounds. Secondly, the boba pearls were perfect! I'm more of a critic on the bobas because I feel like they are what make or break the drink. These were chewy and soft and subtly sweet. I can't wait to come back and try the other drinks on their menu.

I am overdue for a review for this boba spot! 5 stars all around! Consistently great and helpful service every time we have gone. They're even kind enough to offer a sample every time they see us browsing indecisively at the menu lol. I was excited to find out they are dog friendly! We love a place that welcomes my fur babe and that I can hang out indoors with them. Kudos for consistently having yummy boba drinks and snackies! My fave is the garlic chicken wings and fries! I enjoy all the drinks and have tried possibly atleast one from each section. The cup sizes are also shockingly huge in a good way. My latest obsession has been ordering Taro Milk Ice; and adding Pandan jelly, coffee jelly, egg pudding, and brown sugar boba . So delicious!!! Definitely one of my top fave boba spots in Roseville
