    1. The cookies were the perfect bite-size! They also have a lot of pastries that I want to pickup next time! 2. The spot has a cute casual ambiance! It is located in the food court of the supermarket! 3. There were only indoor seating at this food court! Plenty of tables! 4. The staff were friendly and patience as we were deciding what to pick up! 5. Parking lot is huge, but closeby parking can get crowded depending on time and day! More parking in the back! Note: There is an extra fee for credit card transactions less than $10! This spot does not have their own restrooms for customers! Photo: Cranberry Cookies

Not a lot but plenty of choice of baked goods & cakes. Inside the AR market & food hall with plenty of room for baked goods & cakes and drinks but they have varies type of breads and sizes (portions) for sell. Good service and very reasonable prices and it does tastes good too. Not bad for a small bakery shop that have regular customers that hangout daily there.

Bakery Village is located inside Arirang Supermarket, which can be found in the Korean district in Garden Grove (I actually never knew there was a Korean district in Garden Grove before and so my husband and I drove to this area just to see what stores and restaurants were available). My husband and I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon to see if we could pick up some produce. And seeing that there is a food court in this market, I knew that I would like to make a stop afterwards. I am glad I did because I found a variety of yummy baked goods at this bakery. Most baked goods were about $2-3 each. I did purchase this container of small rolled baked goods. I don't know the name of them but have purchased these items from other Korean bakeries in the past. The container I picked cost ~$8. My total purchase was $20 and everything tasted very good over the next few days. Service was very friendly. The older woman who rang up my transaction seemed like a very sweet person. Please note that there is a minimum $10 purchase for credit card transactions. If it under $10 then there is a $0.50 transaction fee. There is seating in the food court in case you wish to eat whatever item(s) you purchase. There is also restrooms (but on the other side by the grocery store, right next door to the produce section). I am not sure if I will be back anytime soon since I do not live in this area but would recommend this bakery.

Small bakery locates inside of the AR Korean supermarket on Garden Grove blvd. It is on the left side when you enter the market. Limited bakery items and mostly sweet not savory. I picked up a custard and almond buns and they are so delicious. Prices are reasonable and quick service.

    Milk tea

My sister and I LOVES this place! We would always stop by after grocery shopping to get their fresh cream bread, coffee bun, and their milk tea! Our favorite thing is the milk tea slush with boba because it taste like a royal milk tea that's not too sweet or too bland, it's just soo good! I don't see other boba place having this specific drink/flavor so we always come back for it. The ladies who work here are so friendly and kind as well! We're regulars now and definitely recommend this bakeryy

Came back again and bought a mocha cake. Tastes good. Theres a lot of cream though which I didnt like. I still love their sweet potato cake! The people there are very nice and gave me a free chocolate bread this time. Chocolate bread is rlly good, so I recommend that. It tastes kinda like a brownie inside a croissant.

The owner always greets with a smile! Fresh korean pastries made daily! Sweet and soft bread with butter cream or other sweet fillings.

I personally love this place! Every time I come by, I'll grab at least 10 different buns. I love how they aren't overly sweet yet affordably priced. I've tried almost all of the buns and have yet to be disappointed by any of them. I feel like compared to 85°, you definitely get something that you could actually enjoy for breakfast or as a snack without feeling like sugar overload

Their white bread--moist and fresh, but it still tastes good after freezing and toasting

Because of the pandemic situation, I was worried that small businesses would close down, but thankfully this bakery is inside the market, so it's up and running!! Been coming here for several years, and it's cool how their bread quality keeps getting better and better! The best part about this mom-and-pop bakery is that you can get 10 assorted bread for $10 and the quality is on par or even better than most bougie bakeries--truly bang for the buck LOL I like their gombo bread, which is basically a peanut cookie bread and i love how it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside All of their cream breads are good too but I love their rollcakes the most!!! You must try their rollcake.. you just need to try it. They know how to get the cream to bread ratio right and it's not too sweet and the texture is perfectly moist I know it's a hard time for everyone, but I hope we can all help each other out and also support small businesses like this that are being heavily affected by the current climate, so if you're in the area or need to go to the market, check this place out! It won't disappointttt!

Their mochi never set and kept sticking to everything :/ Way too gooey. Service was pleasant but this wasn't cool.

i always visit this bakery inside arirang aka ar supermarket after i pick up groceries! the bread is very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. my favorites are the butter sandwich and soboro. the cashier is always very polite too :)

We came on a Saturday at 10:30am and were delighted to find so many varieties of bread! Most Asian bakeries have substantially reduced their bakery items due to these Covid times, but not this bakery. All their $1.75 breads (all items on right wall) were "7 bread for $10 if cash" (in essence, $1.43 each, which is a bargain!) Other breads on a table near the cash register were $2.50 each. They also sell mammoth bread, cookies, cake rolls, cakes, and cream puffs. Many of their breads were good, especially the ones with red bean or buttercream filling. Some of the breads were a bit dry though. We did not like their Almond Scone and Raisin Scone (Their flavor and texture were terrible. They were greatly lacking in butter and sugar.) Overall, we liked this little bakery and will visit again in the future.

This bakery is located in the Arirang market. I always stop here because I love the taste of their fresh baked white loaf of bread. They have the best bargains for freshly baked breads and pastries. They also make boba's , coffee and teas. Their Taro is delicious but my favorite is mango. It taste so fesh and refreshing as though your biting into slices of mango. Sooo good! So if you're looking for fresh/inexpensive and tasty Korean, breads and pastries then you have to try them.

Pastries are pricey for what you get. I don't think it was worth it. Haven't tried any of the cakes, but they look good.

Best cake ever!!…read more This bakery sells a cake with a layer of flaky puff pastry. It is so unique and special. There is ALOT of strawberries. Cathy bakery in Monterey Park sells a puff pastry cake, but they don't include strawberries. This one is so much better. Every time I get cake from here it is a big hit. HAPPY CAKING!!

It seems a bit messy, or maybe they need a bigger shop. Step further into the shop and there it is, the case of cakes! The case itself is old and the window to view the cakes is not clear, seems foggy. Hard to see the cakes. But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.
