    1. The cookies were the perfect bite-size! They also have a lot of pastries that I want to pickup next time! 2. The spot has a cute casual ambiance! It is located in the food court of the supermarket! 3. There were only indoor seating at this food court! Plenty of tables! 4. The staff were friendly and patience as we were deciding what to pick up! 5. Parking lot is huge, but closeby parking can get crowded depending on time and day! More parking in the back! Note: There is an extra fee for credit card transactions less than $10! This spot does not have their own restrooms for customers! Photo: Cranberry Cookies

Not a lot but plenty of choice of baked goods & cakes. Inside the AR market & food hall with plenty of room for baked goods & cakes and drinks but they have varies type of breads and sizes (portions) for sell. Good service and very reasonable prices and it does tastes good too. Not bad for a small bakery shop that have regular customers that hangout daily there.

Bakery Village is located inside Arirang Supermarket, which can be found in the Korean district in Garden Grove (I actually never knew there was a Korean district in Garden Grove before and so my husband and I drove to this area just to see what stores and restaurants were available). My husband and I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon to see if we could pick up some produce. And seeing that there is a food court in this market, I knew that I would like to make a stop afterwards. I am glad I did because I found a variety of yummy baked goods at this bakery. Most baked goods were about $2-3 each. I did purchase this container of small rolled baked goods. I don't know the name of them but have purchased these items from other Korean bakeries in the past. The container I picked cost ~$8. My total purchase was $20 and everything tasted very good over the next few days. Service was very friendly. The older woman who rang up my transaction seemed like a very sweet person. Please note that there is a minimum $10 purchase for credit card transactions. If it under $10 then there is a $0.50 transaction fee. There is seating in the food court in case you wish to eat whatever item(s) you purchase. There is also restrooms (but on the other side by the grocery store, right next door to the produce section). I am not sure if I will be back anytime soon since I do not live in this area but would recommend this bakery.

Small bakery locates inside of the AR Korean supermarket on Garden Grove blvd. It is on the left side when you enter the market. Limited bakery items and mostly sweet not savory. I picked up a custard and almond buns and they are so delicious. Prices are reasonable and quick service.

    Milk tea

My sister and I LOVES this place! We would always stop by after grocery shopping to get their fresh cream bread, coffee bun, and their milk tea! Our favorite thing is the milk tea slush with boba because it taste like a royal milk tea that's not too sweet or too bland, it's just soo good! I don't see other boba place having this specific drink/flavor so we always come back for it. The ladies who work here are so friendly and kind as well! We're regulars now and definitely recommend this bakeryy

Came back again and bought a mocha cake. Tastes good. Theres a lot of cream though which I didnt like. I still love their sweet potato cake! The people there are very nice and gave me a free chocolate bread this time. Chocolate bread is rlly good, so I recommend that. It tastes kinda like a brownie inside a croissant.

The owner always greets with a smile! Fresh korean pastries made daily! Sweet and soft bread with butter cream or other sweet fillings.

I personally love this place! Every time I come by, I'll grab at least 10 different buns. I love how they aren't overly sweet yet affordably priced. I've tried almost all of the buns and have yet to be disappointed by any of them. I feel like compared to 85°, you definitely get something that you could actually enjoy for breakfast or as a snack without feeling like sugar overload

Their white bread--moist and fresh, but it still tastes good after freezing and toasting

Because of the pandemic situation, I was worried that small businesses would close down, but thankfully this bakery is inside the market, so it's up and running!! Been coming here for several years, and it's cool how their bread quality keeps getting better and better! The best part about this mom-and-pop bakery is that you can get 10 assorted bread for $10 and the quality is on par or even better than most bougie bakeries--truly bang for the buck LOL I like their gombo bread, which is basically a peanut cookie bread and i love how it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside All of their cream breads are good too but I love their rollcakes the most!!! You must try their rollcake.. you just need to try it. They know how to get the cream to bread ratio right and it's not too sweet and the texture is perfectly moist I know it's a hard time for everyone, but I hope we can all help each other out and also support small businesses like this that are being heavily affected by the current climate, so if you're in the area or need to go to the market, check this place out! It won't disappointttt!

Their mochi never set and kept sticking to everything :/ Way too gooey. Service was pleasant but this wasn't cool.

i always visit this bakery inside arirang aka ar supermarket after i pick up groceries! the bread is very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. my favorites are the butter sandwich and soboro. the cashier is always very polite too :)

We came on a Saturday at 10:30am and were delighted to find so many varieties of bread! Most Asian bakeries have substantially reduced their bakery items due to these Covid times, but not this bakery. All their $1.75 breads (all items on right wall) were "7 bread for $10 if cash" (in essence, $1.43 each, which is a bargain!) Other breads on a table near the cash register were $2.50 each. They also sell mammoth bread, cookies, cake rolls, cakes, and cream puffs. Many of their breads were good, especially the ones with red bean or buttercream filling. Some of the breads were a bit dry though. We did not like their Almond Scone and Raisin Scone (Their flavor and texture were terrible. They were greatly lacking in butter and sugar.) Overall, we liked this little bakery and will visit again in the future.

This bakery is located in the Arirang market. I always stop here because I love the taste of their fresh baked white loaf of bread. They have the best bargains for freshly baked breads and pastries. They also make boba's , coffee and teas. Their Taro is delicious but my favorite is mango. It taste so fesh and refreshing as though your biting into slices of mango. Sooo good! So if you're looking for fresh/inexpensive and tasty Korean, breads and pastries then you have to try them.

Pastries are pricey for what you get. I don't think it was worth it. Haven't tried any of the cakes, but they look good.

However, we were really disappointed in how they handled our order. We placed our order a couple of weeks ago and received our confirmation about a week later that they were ready to be picked up. However, the email only indicated that they were ready to be picked up anytime Mon-Sun at their popup location. When we arrived, the told us that they had taken back our order because it had been over 5 days and no one had picked them up yet. Then they told us they would try and see if they could recreate our order. TBH, that is the absolute most ridiculous way to do business. No where on their site did it say it had to be picked up within a certain timeframe, AND no where on their confirmation pick up email did it say it had to be picked up by a certain timeframe either. On top of that, they said that we should have called them. Um no, it's your small business, you have left over orders that need to be picked up, then you need to reach out to the customers and let them know they only have so many more days to pick them up before they are forfeited. That's how all small business, food-related or not, handle thing, especially when there are timeframe constraints. To be clear, the time constraint was not an issue IF they had even expressed there is one, but they never did. Please clean up on your business practices, it's very important to communicate with your customer base.

Because 1- My dog is worth it. And 2- they have the best human cupcakes I've ever had lol When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the owner who is so incredibly sweet. She remembered me and greeted me like she's known me for years. They had a 4 pack of pup cakes already packed up. So I grabbed those and told her it was my dogs birthday. Don't forget to ask her if she has a free candle or birthday topper available! She usually has a bunch behind the counter she hands out. She gave me a candle (I got to pick out the color) and I got a little tiny happy birthday topper to put in the pup cake PS- the pup cupcakes smell absolutely delicious! The peanut butter frosting smells out of this world. I almost took a bite. As always, this place is extremely clean Staff is great! Parking is great! Flavors to pick from are great They have a huge variety. I'm so bummed I got there too late and missed out on their coconut cupcake and they had a pistachio one!! (Her flavors are always the best and always changing) So I had to go with my old trusty. I got a wedding cake one and a birthday confetti one. Again, these cupcakes are HUGE. They have the perfect amount of frosting vs cake ratio, they are not dry at all!!! Hands down the best in Orange County I got sucked in. She can make any of her cupcake flavors into a donut. So I tried the strawberry donut (inspired by her strawberry cupcake) the donuts are all in the back and not on display like the cupcakes are It's the best of both worlds The donut was light and fresh. It tasted like a Krispy Kreme but with the delicious frosting of a cupcake. This is on the sweeter side, for me? Sweeter the better. But might be too sweet for others. I can't wait to come back here for all my cupcake and cake needs in the future!!! Give them a try, you and your dog will be extremely satisfied (I have never seen any bakery that is this dog friendly!!)

I went in for a custom cake order, and the owner was able to accommodate within a 72 hour window. I'll say that my daughter does not actually eat cake. She eats frosting, but when I tell you, she ate her entire slice including the cake and the buttercream frosting! The cake was so moist and so beautiful! The prices are fair for the quality that you receive. However, I will say that when I inquired on a separate order if she's able to accommodate for gluten allergies, she said unfortunately no. Although her website does advertise that she can. Besides that, this is a solid option for custom cakes, especially if you like them small and stacked.

They thankfully picked up as soon as I called. I asked if next day pickup was possible and to my relief, they confirmed it was and they were open on weekends. I saw their online menu had a good variety of flavors I could try, though for next day the only available cake was vanilla sponge cake, which was still really good and not too sweet. The texture was light and fluffy, not at all dense, and easy to cut through. I chose a matcha filling and the flavor was solidly matcha, which we loved. I asked what designs were available for next day and they patiently provided the different options of flowers, polka dots, or seashells and catered toward female or male, and adult or child, suggesting real flowers over sugar flowers for adult female. I chose a blue color and appreciated that they even asked what shade of blue (lighter, medium, darker) and was asked what writing I wanted, then confirmed my pickup time the next day and put down a $10 deposit. The next day for pickup I wasn't sure what to expect but it actually turned out gorgeous. Since my friend is a baker, I was nervous what she'd think but she loved it as well. They have a small lot outside the bakery, which is cozy and cute with great natural light inside. It took awhile to get someone at the front but they did amazingly with the cake, even adding little sugar pearls and gorgeous script with hearts. The full quote was $55 and considering all the custom flavors, colors, design, and writing, even the smallest size was enough to feed 10 people with leftovers. Overall, the cake was light, delicious, not too sweet, beautiful, and turnaround was quick. They made a custom cake really easy to order for someone who didn't have a specific design in mind and made it look intricate despite having just one day to put together. I was really happy with how smooth the process was, how reasonable priced the cake is, and the great texture and flavor. I had been stressed out about finding somewhere to accommodate the timing but was so grateful they made it happen. It'll be my go-to birthday cake ordering spot now for OC. Thank you!
