Absolutely the finest bakery. Their pastries are so delicious, I travel from two counties North of Pasco County to buy their pastry. I'm from New York, our bakeries are the best, however, this bakery is outstanding and far superior to the New York bakeries. Sorry NY. I can't help it. The food is so delicious. We finally tried Bakery-X and were sorry we did not try them sooner. They are our favorite bakery now, and we shop there weekly. Everything is freshly made with high quality ingredients, many imported from France! This is as authentic a French bakery you will ever see. We have tried everything they make and all were delicious. How they do it all in a small space is a tribute to their skills and ingenuity. Everyone is friendly, and the service is great! We do take out, but they have seating inside and more tables out outside with shade umbrellas. First class operation! read more

Our favorite coffee shop closed down in the area and we've been on the hunt for a new one. Most of the coffee shops in the area just don't have good coffee. I only drink it black so you can't hide the flavor. This place not only makes AMAZING coffee, but their pastries are unmatched. We've found our new spot!! 10/10 recommend. read more

This quaint French pastry shop was excellent. OH MY GOODNESS, everything we tried was delicious. It's located @ The Krate and we could not be happier. We tried multiple croissants (plain, chocolate, and almond - my personal favorite) and it's wonderful when you ask them to heat it up for you. Laura was superb and provided wonderful service . She spoke with a cute French accent and helped me pronounce "Pain de Suisse" correctly. My daughter enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant and she ate it all on the car ride home. I personally enjoyed the chocolate chip brioche which was delectable. The ambience was lovely and the shop was beautifully decorated. read more

Had dinner at the Krates and decided to try out this bakery. Its very small and not much of a selection. We ordered a half dozen of the mini Beignets and a couple berries and cream tarts. The total was $29! The pastries were okay but not outstanding. You can get better tasting baked goods for much cheaper at other bakeries around Tampa. read more

Super cute place. We came on a Sunday after church and not all the selected items on the menu were available so we chose from which they had. We got a mini brioche, almond croissant, chocolate, and cinnamon raisin. All were delightful, flakey, light and buttery. We visited today for the first timw time. What an amazing GEM! Excellent baguette & delicious croissants. On Friday, they have sourdough bread. We are definitely going back to get some. This is the most amazing French bakery outside of France! Everything is delicious and the staff are incredible. I've had every choice of croissant and all are light, flakey, with a delicate crunch of a crust. The bacon and egg is a great start for the day. Beignets are too tempting so I only get one of each otherwise I would eat them like a starved elephant at a peanut bar! Great place read more

OH MY GOODNESS, this little French bakery is everything!!! My family and I discovered this place about a week after they opened @ The Krate and we could not be happier. We have been there twice and have tried multiple croissants (plain, chocolate, and almond - my personal favorite), sandwiches (chicken salad, ham and cheese, and pesto with roasted tomatoes and mozzarella). We also tried their Mango nectar that is also imported from France. It was absolutely d-e-l-i-s-h. But if you are a butter connoisseur, you HAVE TO get their ECHIRE salted butter (a famed artisan French butter, from the milk of cows of the small village of Poitiers and La Rochelle). I promise you, it is worth the price. Their lattes are so tasty - highly recommend! Service by the entire team, and especially by the owners, Xavier and Bridgette, are top notch each and every time! We will be regulars for sure. Please give them a try even if you live far. It will not be a waste of your time! read more

Located at the KRATE at the Grove in Wesley Chapel, this small but mighty cafe is serving up authentic French pastries. Family owned and operated, you can taste the love put into their products. The inside is small with only a few 2 seated tables available but you can find outdoor seating nearby as well. The decor is very cute with a white floral wall and neon sign. The owner mentioned it takes 3 days to layer the dough for the pastries! You can see the flaky layers in every bite. They serve hot coffee as well as a wide assortment of baked goods. Here we go, the cutest little French inspired bakery in Krate at the Grove I had a croissant with a hazelnut spread (imported from France) topped with raspberries paired with a cafe au lait with caramel syrup. Excellent baguettes from this tiny bakery. Croissants are flaky and light. Our experience on the chocolate and almond croissants was less stellar. The almond croissant had a quarter sized dollop of filling and almond topping. That bite was excellent and shows they could do a proper example. However for $6.50, I was hoping the whole croissant would have the almond filling and glazed topping that defines a proper almond croissant. Same with the chocolate croissant that contained a single bite of delicious chocolate. This was a second try here in my search for a memorable almond croissant! read more

Ansolutely the best French pastries I've had since I was in France. They have both savory and sweet, all on the croissant dough. I am definitely going back to try some more! Went to the Krate with my son and Mother. He's a chef in training with a very picky palette. Wandered into the Bakery X and finally had great cap and latte! The baked goods were great and they had some specialty items that he was pretty pumped about. We ended up going out of our way later to circle back and get more of their butter. When I walked in here and breathed in the pastry, and looked at what they were selling on the shelves, I could NOT believe I was in Tampa Bay, much less podunk Pasco County. I am not French or even European but I spend a lot of time in France every year. This place is a MIRACLE. It is probably the best bakery in Tampa Bay and they get 15,000 stars from me for carrying/selling Echire butter, the best butter ON THE PLANET. I still cannot believe that this place even exists in Tampa Bay. Most people here think that Burger King croissants are great! Seriously, go here and get any of the croissants. I want to give a 5 but Inconsistent quality on croissants. Sometimes they are amazingly crispy and fresh and sometimes they are stale and have taken on other flavors ick and are not crispy. I have had this issue early on Sunday mornings. I hope they are not selling old left overs not a good business practice. There is also inconsistency in their sizes. At $6 a pop these should be amazing every time. read more
