This was my third visit to Balance Spa. And again, my expectations were surpassed. I booked an oxygen facial, but when Diana evaluated my skin, she suggested instead a microdermabrasion. The idea of having an esthetician provide guidance for keeping my face in the best condition is an amazing one. The cost was less than the oxygen facial, but Diana was more concerned with my results rather than price. Previously, Diana has suggested moisturizers and creams and there is no pressure to purchase from Balance Spa. I arrived at my treatment with a couple of bruises and she made suggestions on how to diminish them. She presented me with product to help facilitate the healing process. I highly recommend this spa!!! I chose Balance Spa for my first time ever attending a spa and it was a success. The staff is very professional and friendly and always makes sure its customers have everything they need. Once you arrive they offer complimentary tea or water and there is nice relaxing music playing in the background. Another plus was the spa was very clean. I received my facial from Diana. She was very sweet and attentive to my skin can needs. She upgraded my facial free of charge after analyzing my skin and she recommended a facial with more exfoliates. I had a mud massage, facial and scalp massage by coreen. The mud massage was a different experience for me, I was completely relaxed by the end of it. The facial was nice too, but my only complaint of the whole experience is that the facial irritated my skin and an improper extraction left an irritated pimple. :( I am quite bummed about that because It wilk take some time for my skin to heal to its normal texture. But other than that it was a lovely(pricey) relaxing experience. read more

In the past I have had many massages and this was definitely one of the top rated in my book. Corinne was professional and found my trouble spots and worked them out. The facial was wonderful. Upon my arrival, I was welcomed with a smile and offered tea or water. I filled out a quick form with my information and answered a few questions about my preferences and expectations. After no wait at all I was greeted by message therapist Janet for my 60 minute Swedish massage. She was genuinely involved and inquired my needs and areas of focus. Throughout my massage soothing meditation music played. I was offered a mask to lay over my eyes and a warm, thereputic neck pillow. Janet talked just enough ensuring I was comfortable. She focused on my shoulders and neck as per my request and I can honestly say I left without a single knot. I carry a lot of stress in my neck and shoulders; I felt much lighter and stress free after my massage. I found Balance Spa when my Mom was in town visiting. I checked out some spas in the area online and am so glad we chose Balance. The both of us booked the Retreat Package. It is THE BEST! You get a little bit of everything and the infrared sauna is amazing!!! Michelle, the owner, is very nice. Not to mention her skin looks fantastic so she is obviously doing something right. Paige is amazing!!! She's so awesome and knows her stuff when it comes to the body and massage therapy! Plus she's really strong! She can make a half hour massage feel like she worked on you for an hour. So good! Since my first visit I've been going to Balance Spa 1-2x per week for LED treatments with Diana. Not only is Diana the BEST estitician I've ever had, she is one of the most caring and considerate people I know. I've gotten to know her well through my frequent visits and she truly cares about the well being and what's best for me and my skin!!! She takes the time to explain her understandings of products and lifestyle and how all we do coincides with the way our skin looks and feels. I just love her and I can't recomend her enough. She helped me so much and I cannot thank her enough for being so fabulous! The spa is smalll like a cute little boutique. This spa is the perfect mix of classic day spa - soothing colors, quiet and calming music, and comfort - with real treatments. i have had cystic acne since I was a teenager and have gone for a lot of different facial treatments, including in doctor's offices, at fancy spas, and through holistic centers. Michelle's treatments at Balance Spa are by far the best and most effective. Not only does she treat my skin clinically, she has the perfect healing touch. Since getting facials from her I actually get loads of compliments on my skin! I've had massage here too and they are equally as impressive. Great healing touch with the service totally personalized for your needs. At some places you feel like the treatment is one that the LMT does over and over, regardless of the individual client. At Balance Spa I always feel like the treatment was created just for me. Also, you've got to try the infrared detox. You become like a detox burrito for 30 minutes and leave feeling surprisingly refreshed and clearer. This is a new location for the spa and it's perfect. Really convenient parking, including valet, and close to some great restaurants and 4th Gen Organics if you want to go with friends and follow up with a meal or drinks. I think the package was called the Restorative. Thirty minutes of each treatment. I loved all three. My only complaint is that I didn't book more time. This was my 1st time to the new location, which is a few short blocks from the previous location. It's a soothing atmosphere you feel the minute you walk in. It had been a few months since my previous (and 1st time) facial with Michelle--who happens to be the owner. So as I'm laying there, feeling so relaxed and pampered, I am still amazed by how many treatments she applies to my face. The pampering just goes on and on. And I got a much needed neck and shoulder massage (again) while some of the treatments were being applied and needed time to take effect. We moved to S Fla about 1 year ago. My adult daughter and I booked a last minute appointment for two deep tissue massages. I have to preface this in saying we've been to a couple of other spas in the area, and have been so disappointed l was wondering why people put up with such crappie quality. That changed with Balance Spa. Reception both over the phone and greeting as we walked in was pleasant and professional. We ran a bit late due to the monsoon, but the front desk handled it well. The location was easy to find, and had dedicated free indoor parking spaces - a real plus. The facility is in a relatively small space, and small calm waiting area. So you're not likely to hang around here as a full day spa experience. That was fine by me, it fit perfectly what I needed - clean, calm, and pleasant. The treatment rooms were nice, and again very clean and calm. Sorry if I stress the calm so much, but I've been to so many places where it literally feels like your clock is ticking and they try to rush through everything. We had deep tissue massages with Vicki and Jessica. I won't spoil the experience for you, but both were amazing. We walked in stressed and uptight, and walked out feeling 'wow'! Probably some of the best we've had. I will be a regular if this is experience is the norm. read more
