Every time I've got flowers here they have lasted 2-3 weeks. I'm not even joking. Even during the height of summer when flowers usually die pretty fast on me. They are so fresh and have an amazing selection. Recently we had a bad experience. The flowers died in about 5 days. We brought them back to the shop as this is so uncommon. The owner was there and offered a whole new bouquet for free. We mentioned we didn't really want a new bouquet right away and he said no problem, the next time we're there he'll sort us out and explained how we can look after the flowers to last even longer. Called Balboa Florist minutes before closing, asked Hakim if possible to have flowers to be delivered to St. Charles Borromeo Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Without hesitation, he confirmed "yes". I am OBSESSED with this flower shop.I was driving and stopped by on a whim. I was blown away as soon as I walked in! I absolutely LOVE, love flowers and this florist has every type of flower or plant you can think of! They have a giant cooler with pre-made arrangements or individual stems if you want to make your own bouquet or arrangement. The first time I came in, a wonderful gentlemen (the owner, I think) helped me create one large arrangement for my coffee table and 2 smaller ones for my end tables. They turned out amazing! This place even has RAINBOW ROSES which I didn't think actually existed. I thought they were photoshopped from IG. But no, they're real! I like this place because they can work with any budget and make it look spectacular! And their prices are extremely reasonable. I was shocked at the how many flowers I got for the price. They also lasted a really long time. Unlike the flowers you order from "national" brands that show one thing on their website and end up delivering a disaster, Balboa Florist delivers exactly what it shows on their site. I'm never going to purchase flowers from anywhere else again. I haven't seen such a terrible customer service for a really long time. I ordered roses for my girlfriend's birthday yesterday. It turned out they couldn't deliver the flowers because the lady told me that they couldn't find the address on google maps (The address has 1/2 at the end of the number). When l called, the lady was really rude and almost yelling at me! After that, she charged me one more time $14 for the delivery because she said it was a big headache for them and the delivery driver left 1 time already even though she said they can't find the address on google maps! It is hard to believe that this kind of customer service still exists in 2019. Not recommended if you don't like to deal with rude people. read more
