We live right next to eat for over a year now and I'm not sure why it took us that long to visit but I regret it now! Definitely will be stopping here more often, they open at 5:30 am in the morning and coffee is amazing! And cheese danish is to die for! Laundromat is tIcht next to it so I would recommend crabbing some king blanketss you have and wAsh them while enjoying the outside lounge. I needed a new coffee spot and when I saw the recommendation for here, I said why not take the drive to get out the house. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling friendly faces. And they actually great conversation happening that I was able to learn something new. Well, this was my first time here(and not my last) so I knew I was getting the ham and cheese croissant and didn't know what coffee to get. So she recommended her fall favorites and OMG!!!!!!!! I know, I know: I have been brainwashed by the behemoth with a capital S so whenever i venture off that expensive caffeine path I am usually disappointed in the flavor and boldness of the coffee or the presumptive college aged kids with rude attitude. However nice and polite the owners/staff are here can't make up for meh coffee. This same demeanor doesn't make up for the amount of dog hair on the counter, on the floor, or covering the welcome mat. I love local coffee shops and will seek them out wherever I go. This joint opened up in the food lion plaza which is kind of a rough area but right outside of the Navy base. It is a very convenient location for people coming/going to the base. I've been saying that area needed a coffee shop for years and am glad there is now one. The owners did a really nice job sprucing up an otherwise vacant building and they were very friendly when I went through the drive thru. The loyalty card he gave me (buy 5 get your 6th free) states they sell cappuccino, espresso, lattes, and all things coffee. I went with their signature sexy 7 drip because if you cannot do a black cup of coffee right then I'm out! They do it right here! Very nice cup of joe. I have been here a few times and I am a fan. I ordered the iced caramel macchiato both times as it's my favorite coffee drink. They are really quick and don't take long to get your order out to you which makes it worth the stop since you won't be spending forever in the drive-thru. The staff here is always friendly and make my coffee perfectly without asking them to jazz it up like when I go to Starbucks. They make it like how I would make it for myself if I was able to make it. Lol A 12oz caramel macchiato is $4.74 if you want to reference that against any other coffee place you visit. I love this little local shop. It's near the Navy Base off Red Band Rd, which is super convenient. The inside of the shop is small, but the drive through is always quick. The baked goods are fresh and the coffee is hot. I have only been disappointed once, when my coffee cup was only 3/4 of the way full, but I chalked it up as a fluke. read more
