I must say, normally Baldwin Park Pizza Company used to be my go to pizza delivery but as of last night, I'm sad to say I will have to find a new pizza place. It's a shame because I like their food and for that I give them several opportunities and am very forgiving... that ends now. When I placed my order, there seemed to be an annoyance that resonated in the person taking my order. I dismissed it as she being busy and didn't think anything of it. Little did I know my problems with them would compound. I ordered a large with half pepperoni and half Hawaiian with pepperoni. I also ordered two sides of rib tips with no sauce. She (the person taking my order) quoted approximately one hour. A little long for pizza delivery, but typical for Baldwin Park Pizza Company. Almost 80 minutes later, there was no sign of the driver. I called Baldwin Park Pizza Company, and they said their driver was held up at the previous location. The person on the line (assuming it's the same lady that I spoke with for my order) said he was right outside. He wasn't. I waited another 5 minutes in the cold until the driver showed up. Without even an apology from the driver, he reached into his trunk and grabbed the order. He walks up to my door with his mask improperly worn - his nose was exposed... ummm... Omicron Variant dude and you're handling food I'm about to feed to a four-year-old! I still have a big tip because I felt bad. I take the pizza inside and open it up. They got my order right but the toppings were almost non-existent. Disappointing. Are toppings that expensive Baldwin Park Pizza Company? Geeeezze! Boy, for a successful pizza parlor Baldwin Park Pizza Company decided to cut costs by throwing customer satisfaction out the window. I guess they are no longer my go to. I have never been so disappointed in my life with the quality of pizza I got on Saturday. I paid $60 for a XL and a L. I don't mind the price but the QUALITY was terrible!!! My XL was ham, pineapple, bacon. It was missing the bacon so I paid for an xtra topping for nothing. The large was a regular pepperoni and it looked like they just threw it together without even making an effort to meet our expectations. The cheese wasn't even melted all the way and got some reason both had really LIGHT sauce but I never said I wanted it that way. I will never be coming back to this pizza joint. I've been ordering from this place for 20 years and I've always received great pizza and good service. Tonight I did not receive that. I decided to call at 8 pm on a Saturday to order a pizza and I was told that they're closed and won't take orders due to a private party. First off, I'm upset that Yelp took off my first review because it WAS MY FIRSTHAND experience! I think that everyone should be able to know how DANGEROUS it is to eat from this establishment. 4 stars for this pizza place... I think NOT!! I'm lucky I didn't suffered an injury or end up in the ER and thank goodness all my co-workers are safe also after eating here! My co-workers decided to order pizza here one day during work, to which I replied sure, not wanting to eat the left overs I had brought. My co-workers claimed their pizza was good... so I said I'd like some pizza too. What a mistake!!  On Saturday September 27, 2014, We ordered 2 pizzas for about 6 of us. When I tried the pizza... I didn't think it was as great as everyone proclaimed it to be. It was a soggy to be honest. The crust appeared to be cooked well, but the middle of the pizza was soggy. It had quite a bit of sauce on it... but the sauce just tasted off... too acidic and just did not taste right. ... less than 30 minutes after eating the pizza, I felt sick to my stomach. I was in a patient's room (as we work as nurses) and could barely talk to my patient as I felt like throwing up at that very moment. I feigned a smile and ran out of the room. I rushed to the bathroom and threw up some food and felt gross, but also better after that. I have NEVER felt sick after eating pizza before as I'm a big fan of pizza. I told my co-worker about the incident and she kind of laughed and made a joke about it. I stated that it WAS the pizza as I've eaten nothing else all day! I can't say much about the service since we had it delivered... but I can say based on what happened after, I don't have much hope for the service in person and do not plan on ever eating from this place again! So at the end of the workday, we had left overs ...and later that night... lord behold - guess what we discovered in the pizza - a SCREW, yes a screw, like the ones you find in Home Depot or Lowes BAKED into the crust!!! I immediately said to my friend" I knew there was something not right about that pizza!! It made me so sick after eating it!!" There should be NO hardware anywhere near food prep areas, let alone have a screw baked right into the crust!!! That's just nasty and unsafe!! Can you imagine if one of us had actually ATE the screw?!? We would be in the ER right away and in need to surgery to remove it to not destroy our intestines!! We immediately called the Baldwin Park Pizza Co and talked to the "manager", Cynthia. The manager told us they would talk to the owner and she would call back the next day... well, it's been a few days and still NO word back!! Talk about not owning up to what they did!!  THEY DID NOT EVEN OFFER A REFUND ON THE DEADLY PIZZA!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!  Needless to say, since we have not heard back from the pizza place, we escalated this matter to the department of health!! NO one should ever find a SCREW in their pizza!! It definitely was not on the list of toppings and you can bet that myself, and none of my coworkers will ever order pizza from here again!!  NEVER EAT THE PIZZA FROM HERE!!! Although I don't live all the way out there, I visited after going to the Renaissance Faire, and really liked it. Baldwin Park Pizza is a small pizzeria with long tables in the middle (good for groups) and a handful of smaller tables on the sides. It kind of reminded me of a pizza place I used to go to in High School after football games. Nothing fancy or very unique about it, but they definitely have some solid food. It's a cheap place with pretty good pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and everything about it was pretty good. It's not my favorite pizza place and they don't do anything fancy, but for the price it's definitely right. if you are in the area and you want some solidly good pizza at a decent price, you should check this place out. The question is how have I never heard of this place? I mean, when they have oodles of awards and "best of" San Gabriel Valley recognition it's kind of a big deal. Baldwin Park Pizza Co is a testament to many great small businesses in the area. We had a medium pizza with half mushroom and half pepperoni. We included a pitcher of beer too! All of this, for about $22. That is incredibly good especially if you're going in a group or with a family! I couldn't believe not only how delicious the pizza was, but the many options for beer! It was busy so we decided to try it out. We ordered a jumbo, spaghetti and wings. The pizza was pretty big. It had pepperoni and sausage on it. The sausage was cut and kind of rough/dry. The pizza was ok. Not great, but good. We were starving so we weren't complaining. The spaghetti was the best to me. Their sauce was surprisingly good. Their wings were not good. Fully cooked BUT literally burnt on the outside. The sauce was poured on top right after it was deep fried. It could've just been our batch that way, who knows? I doubt I'll come back here. This was my first time here. I called ahead and the young lady was very friendly providing their specials and I didn't feel rushed even though the other phone lines were ringing in the back. They had some very good deals and I paid $8.69 for a Medium 2 topping pizza. I was not sure if this was going to be in a shady spot of Baldwin Park, hence why I called my order in. Sure enough, this was not is the best part of B.P. Why are some of the best establishments in such horrible spots? They took less than 15 minutes to prepare my Hawaiian Pizza and when I walked in I was immediately greeted by a team a friendly people. The dinning area was an okay size and clean, the restrooms available were good enough. They even had a big flat screen t.v. which made it very inviting to sit and eat while watching the game. I couldn't wait until I got home to try this pizza, and boy let me tell you...this pizza was so cheesy and the crust was so soft, the toppings weren't overwhelming (like some Hawaiian pizzas), the combination gave me the shivers because it was so good. I was sold on just one bite! I will be sure to become a regular here, and even though this is not the best location (especially at night), it will not deter me to get one of the greatest pizzas ever!
